We relaxed today too.
But there is somethin weerd goin on. TBT found a another tick on my neck. It was dead and shriveled like the last few (3rd this month). He says I must got crazy-killer bloods. *I* think that is a good thing. Well, I sure like that they die on me. Better than havin them live right? An we don't put NO stuff on us ta make that happen.
They like Iza just fine. TBT hasta find them and take them off her with tweezery things. He finds about one happy one on HER about one a week. They are a price we pay fer going outside. An its a good reason ta sit on TBT's lap an let him scritch all through our furs. But they sure dont like ME!
Oops. We got this one posted early...
I wonder if it would pay for you guys to have a flea and tick preparation? The good stuff?
ReplyDeleteWell, we aren't sure there IS any real good safe stuff fer the ticks. And our yard IS a bit on the wild side.
ReplyDeleteVocê tem sorte que os carrapatos não gostam de você! Eles são nojentos, eca!!!
ReplyDeleteWe are so glad TBT looks over you so closely and that way solves any flea or tick issues!
ReplyDeleteTicks are yukki !
ReplyDeleteMe too is having an easy sunday :)
Better a tick than a flea! At least ticks don't jump!
ReplyDeleteWe indoor-only kitties don't get ticks, but there aren't as many here in the big city on the West Coast as there are where you are! My human found one on the cat before me once. She remembers it clearly because it was Christmas Day and she had no idea how to remove it! She had to take her to the emergency clinic so they could show her. They were nice and didn't even charge her for their trouble.
ReplyDeleteAny excuse for more scritches from TBT is a good excuse!

I get frontline which kills ticks and fleas. Mum has only ever found one tick on me, but Eric used to get quite a few in the last few days before our frontline was due again.
ReplyDeleteI sure am glad the tick hunter finds those things. Hey, it is never too early for an Easy!
ReplyDeleteI only go outside with a leash and harness, and so far I've never been lucky enough to run into a tick. We're hoping I never do, but my peeps do search me when I come back into the house. Especially in May and June.
ReplyDeleteIt's great TBT takes such good care of you guys. But why don't those ticks like you, Harley?
ReplyDeleteYou still got those bugs? We've been able to discontinue our flea medicine since the ice storm last month.
ReplyDeleteWe hope they go away and leave you alone!
euuuwww....ticks make Mommy ::shudder::!
ReplyDeleteI don't think we gots ticks in San Francisco! We gots fleas though, although I almost never get them since I do not go outside. It is good that you have an innate tick killer...but are "you" Ayla or Marley today???? I think you sound more like Marley, but I can't quite be sure.....
ReplyDeleteOoh I missed that! I is Marley!
ReplyDeleteYuk ! A tick ! Mum put us Frontline Combo on the neck every month ; it's against fleas and ticks. It works really well, we never got one ! Purrs
ReplyDeleteticks...::shudder::
ReplyDeleteIf we happened to be indoor-outdoor kitties and we lived where there were ticks, our mom would never let us out, mol! Maybe there is something you eat, Marley, that Iza doesn't that could make the ticks die on you? Anyhoo, enjoy your Easy Sunday! we think we officially have the willies now...

We don't get treated, but we don't get to go outside. Glad TBT checks you over carefully.
ReplyDeleteGood thing TBT checks yous out! Mes hates those bugs!!!!
ReplyDeleteWes gets FrontLine and so does the Hairy Slobbery Sisters, We has heartworm and Lymes disease here. Any ticks that gets finded on us is always deaded and shriveled (thank Cod)! Mommy worries about it as one of the before dogs had Lymes disease from ticks before they had vaccinations and she had lots of joint problems.
