As usual I built my mini book with cardboard, papers, cardstock and transparent pockets. I used my Big Shot machine to cut my paper scraps and decorate my project :-)

Cut pretty houses out of sea green cardstock. I love this die; it is so cute, isn’t it? I cut it twice so that I can put the focus on the roof by gluing a second paper piece with 3D adhesive foam. The little windows will be cut out of in other paper scraps and superimposed so as to create a contrast with colours! What a great result, don’t you think?

I used the “Be Happy” die twice. It will be framed by pattern paper to make it stand out more.

On the little squares pocket, I wanted to contrast with the even pattern so I added a big “&” cut out of sea green cardstock scrap to serve as decoration. This set is on sales at the moment so do not hesitate to buy it! It is very easy to use and can be adapted to every theme!

Comme d'habitude j'ai construit mon mini à base de carton, papiers, cardstock et pochettes plastifiées. J'ai sorti ma Big Shot pour découper mes chutes de papiers et décorer mon projet :)

Dans du cardstock vert eau, découpez de jolies maisonnettes ! Un die que j'adore il est trop mignon , n'est ce pas ? Je me suis amusée à le découper deux fois pour mettre les toits en valeur à l'aide de mousse 3D, les petites fenêtres seront quant à elles découpées dans d'autres chutes puis superposer pour jouer sur le contraste de couleurs ! Un rendu extra, n'est ce pas ?

J'ai utilisé à deux reprises la découpe " Be Happy", celle ci sera mattée sur du papier imprimé afin de la refaire ressortir davantage.

Sur la pochette petits carrés j'ai voulu trancher avec ce côté régulier en rajoutant en décoration un grand "&" découpé dans une chute de cardstock vert eau. Profitez-en, ce set est en super solde en ce moment ! Il est très facile à utiliser et s'adapte à toutes thématiques !

Es tiempo de vacaciones, todo el mundo viaja a sitios bonitos. Y quiero proponeros una pequeña cosa muy divertida para este año; no sólo enviar WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram y otras cosas en el mundo 2.0 en vacaciones!

Este año también puedes enviar una postal. Una postal escrita a mano, pones un sello y la envías por correo postal. Vamos! puede ser divertido!

Mi propuesta no termina aquí, la propuesta completa es hacer tu propia postal a mano. Aquí tienes un vídeo con una idea creativa y divertida. Además aprendes a hacer un fondo con tintas Archival muy chulo y colorista.

I selected three small pictures overlapping one another so as to cover the width of the lay-out.

I used the frames dies set for the first time and I must say that I like it a lot! It is a set of 5 freestyle frames that can be used in any project! These frames will be cut out of a floral-patterned paper. I used the front side for the outer frames and the back side for the inner frames.

Add embellishments and stickers to wrap these frames up.

The word LOVE is a Sizzix die as well! It is cut out of Kraft paper and is stamped and embossed with gold powder.

The small frame inserted under the word LOVE is a doily heart that you will find in the Big Shot Plus starter kit!

This is a very easy page to create and I hope you will be inspired by it!

J'ai utilisé ici trois petites photos qui sont chevauchées de manière à mesurer toute une largeur de page.

J'ai utilisé pour la toute première fois le superbe set de dies cadres que j'adore ! Un assortiment de 5 cadres freestyle qui se casent absolument partout ! J'ai utilisé un papier floral pour ces découpes, d'un côté le verso pour l'extérieur, d'un autre le recto pour l'intérieur.

Complétez ensuite ces jolis cadres avec des embellissements ou des autocollants.

Le mot LOVE est également une découpe Sizzix ! Celle-ci découpée dans du kraft sera tamponné et embossé couleur or.

Le petit cadre sous le mot LOVE est un coeur dentellé, die disponible dans le kit de départ Big Shot Plus !

Une page très simple à réaliser qui vous aura je l'espère inspiré !

Here I am back from a wonderful trip with my son! My son and I spent 5 days discovering this fantastic town that is New York City! We had barely left the plane on our way back home and I already felt like creating a scrapbooking lay-out with the pictures I made!

I chose an A4 format inspired by an American Craft ring binder.

I am a big fan of the dies that go with the new Big Shot machine! Here I used the smallest doily heart, the pretty foliage pattern that I love so much and the beautiful openwork flower! The dies are cut out of various green pattern papers to create contrast with my blue sky background paper.

One of the two leaves is cut out of white paper and shaded with the Adirondack Clover green ink.

The pretty flower is cut in half and each part is glued in a different area of my page.

To create some harmony and link the different elements together, I made some splashes all over my lay-out with the help of watercolour felt-tip pens.

My title is mostly composed of stickers (the black letters). The letters GO come from the Fresh Blossom alphabet die set. Each letter will be outlined with a thin-tipped black pen.

Me voici rentrée d'un superbe voyage avec mon fils ! 5 jours à New York tous les deux à la découverte de cette merveilleuse ville ! A peine sortie de l'avion, j'ai eu envie de scrapper les premières photos !

Je suis fan des dies qui accompagnent la nouvelle Big Shot ! J'ai utilisé ici le petit coeur dentellé, les superbes feuillages dont je raffole et la belle fleur évidée ! Pour contraster avec mon fond de page bleu ciel, mes découpes sont faites dans divers papiers imprimés à dominante verte.

Une des deux feuilles est découpée dans du papier blanc puis ombrée avec une encre verte Adirondack Clover.

La jolie fleur est découpée et envisagée en deux parties sur ma page.

Afin de lier mes différents éléments ma page est éclaboussée de feutres aquarellables.

Mon titre composé en partie de stickers ( en noir ) les lettres GO sont découpées avec le die alphabet Fress Blossom. Chaque lettre sera ensuite réhaussée avec un tracé au stylo noir fin.

Travel Journal using Big Shot Plus Starter Kit

Happy Friday everyone, It's Anna here with you. Today I have a Mini Album to show you, which I created using the Big Shot Plus Starter Kit. To keep a record of my travel I created this quick and simple travel journal.

The New Big Shot Plus offers huge opportunities to make full use of the A4 size. I'm not gonna take advantage of that? ;)

I made the cover of this mini album with just an A4 paper. Let me show you how created this...

To begin, take a rectangle of scrapbook paper, slightly larger of A4. To cut the title for the album, choose letters from the Alphanumeric Sizzix Thinlits die set. I used the removable tape to hold my letters into place before cut out. Pass the sandwich through the Big Shot Plus Machine.

After you have cut your cover page, trim a patterned paper into strip to place on first inside page, the backside of your title.

Take some page A4 of cardstock and notebook sheet. Make as many pages as you’d like. Fold the papers in half to make inside pages. Line up the pages with the cover. Use a punch hole to make two holes in the center. Take the twine to tie it all together.

Use some dies included on Starter Kit for main embellishment of cover and inside pages. Attach the second title to the cover to finish.

 

 

This was a really quick and easy way to make a lovely mini album. I love the effect of die-cut title! It creates a nice contrast with the floral paper. It add so much interest to the cover.

Buon Venerdì a tutti, sono Anna ed oggi sono qui per condividere un mini album, che ho creato con il Big Shot Plus Starter Kit.

Come saprete, la nuova Big Shot Plus offre l'opportunità di lavorare con il formato A4. Potevo forse non approfittare di questa grandiosa novità messa in campo da Sizzix? ;)

Ho deciso così di creare la copertina del mini album con un foglio A4. Lasciate che vi spieghi come ho fatto...

Per cominciare, prendere un foglio di carta da scrapbooking e tagliarlo leggermente più grande di un A4 (ovvero grande quanto i pad della Big Shot Plus). Per tagliare il titolo dell'album, scegliere le lettere dal set di fustelle Thinlits Alphanumeric. Ho usato del nastro rimovibile per tenere ferme le mie lettere, prima di tagliare. Passare il sandwich nella Big Shot Plus Machine.

Dopo aver fustellato la copertina, tagliare una striscia di carta a fiori da mettere sulla prima pagina interna, in corrispondenza della parte posteriore del vostro titolo.

Prendete un po' di fogli A4 di cartoncino e di block notes per fare il numero di pagine interne che si desidera creare. Piegare tutti I fogli a metà. Sovrapporre le pagine con la copertina. Fare due fori al centro e rilegare con lo spago.

Utilizzare le fustelle incluse nello Starter Kit per l'abbellimento principale della copertina (ramoscello, foglie) e per le pagine interne (farfalla ecc.). Posizionare il secondo titolo adesivo sulla copertina ed aggiungere altri dettagli a piacere.

Come vedete, questo è stato un modo molto semplice e veloce per fare un mini album. Devo dire che mi piace molto l'effetto del titolo “traforato”! E si crea un piacevole contrasto con la carta a fiorellini.

Grazie essere passati di qui! Spero di avervi ispirato a creare un mini album con fogli A4 ;)

Hello,

Today let’s get a ride on the most mythical road in the world: the Road 66! Having travelled on this road last year, I couldn’t resist the urge to use the Tim Holtz set dedicated to this monument!

658579: Sizzix Texture Fades Embossing Folders 4PK-Travel Signs Set

Start by embossing twice some white or light-coloured paper with your embossing folder. If you travel in the US or do a road trip on Road 66, this Tim Holtz set is just the obvious choice!

Once embossed, use a spray ink, diluted paint, watercolour paint or inks like Adirondack to colour entirely your paper. I selected three colours: green, orange and yellow. Let it dry in the open.

Then build your page starting by choosing a neutral background. Multiply the pattern papers and masking tape strips.

Work on your background with stamps, make splashes with a watercolour pen, add your title with alphabets and here you are!

I hope my layout will make you feel like plunging into your last holidays pictures!

Commencez par embosser deux fois votre plaque à embosser dans un papier blanc ou clair. Avec un voyage aux USA et un road trip sur la Route 66, cette plaque Tim Holtz était juste évidente !

Une fois embossée, utilisez une encre en spray, de la peinture diluée,de l'aquarelle ou encore des encres telles les Adirondack pour teinter entièrement votre papier. J'ai opté pour 3 couleurs : vert, orange et jaune. Laissez sécher à l'air libre.

Composez ensuite votre page en choisissant un fond neutre mais en multipliant les imprimés et les bandes de masking tape.

Travaillez votre fond avec des tampons, éclaboussez avec un feutre aquarellable, ajoutez votre titre à l'aide d'alphabets et le tour est joué !

Making a Travel Journal

Hi Sizzix fans! It's Anna posting today. I hope you had a great, creative week!

Once again I had fun with my Big Shot! Here is a mini album I realized specially for one of my online classes. I completed my mini using my favourite dies of the moment. I really like using Sizzix dies as embellishments in my mini albums!
The theme of this mini book is a travel to Morocco. I created a mixed paper journal that holds all of my pictures, tickets, brochures, and other mementos...

How to make:

Collect tickets, brochure, postcards, other paper along the way.
Document your trip on a variety of mixed papers.
Combine your travel ephemera, mixed papers, envelopes and pictures. To make sure your holes are evenly spaced out, just use a ruler and a pencil to mark where you should punch. Now just slide your book rings through the holes. Since the book rings are super easy to remove, you can add as little or as much stuff as you want.

For the cover I used two piece of cardboard 15x10 cm. I painted the cardboard with white acrylic paint and I used a doily, some banner, tag, flower and heart that I had cut out with my Big Shot Machine.

Cut the labels with die 657188 to divide each section, sticking out from the mini album.

You're done!

Buongiorno! Ecco un nuovo appuntamento con Anna per una pausa caffè creativa! Oggi è anche il mio onomastico, che bello :)

Come potete immaginare, anche questa settimana mi sono divertita con la mia Big Shot!

Ecco un mini album facile facile per documentare una vacanza o una gita. 

Il tema di questo mio mini è un viaggio in Marocco di qualche anno fa. Ho creato una sorta di diario di viaggio che contiene tutte le mie foto, biglietti, brochure e altri ricordi. Io ho preferito assemblare il mio mini in ordine cronologico, ma voi siete libere di scegliere come impostarlo.
Ho così finalmente completato il mio travel journal usando le mie fustelle preferite del momento. Mi piace molto usare forme fustellate come abbellimenti... non so se si era capito! ;)

Procedimento:

Nemmeno ve lo dovrei dire, perchè so che lo fate già: durante il vostro viaggio dovrete raccogliere ticket, brochure, cartoline e altri piccoli souvenirs, come mappe, tovaglioli o biglietti da visita dei bar o ristoranti... Tutto fa brodo! ;)
Al vostro ritorno potrete così documentare perfettamente il viaggio combinando i memorabilia con foto e diario, per creare il vostro personale mini album. 

Se volete, potete anche prepararvi prima la struttura del mini album, così da portarlo con voi in viaggio. Lo userete come un diario da completare giorno per giorno. In questo modo sarete a metà dell'opera: una volta tornate a casa dovrete solo aggiungere le foto e fare i fori ad alcuni souvenirs, semplice, no?!

Per la copertina:
Io ho usato due pezzi di cartone 15x10 cm. Ho dipinto il cartone con vernice acrilica bianca e per abbellire ho usato un centrino, alcuni banner, tag, fiore e cuore, che avevo ritagliato precedentemente con la mia preziosa Big Shot e le fustelle Sizzix.

Per l'interno del mini album:
Ritagliare alcuni cartoncini tinta unita e fantasia sempre della misura 10x15, per creare le vostre pagine, dove incollerete le foto e scriverete il journaling.
Se durante il vostro viaggio avete visitato diverse località, potrete fare delle pagine divisorie con i nomi dei luoghi. In questo caso tagliare le etichette con la fustella Sizzix Tiny Tabs & Tags per dividere ogni sezione; le etichette le farete  spuntare dal mini album per ritrovare facilmente il luogo che vi interessa rivedere.
Potete mescolare pagine 10x15 con buste di varie dimensioni, tag, bustine trasparenti, cartoline, mappe, brochure... basterà praticare due fori, dove inserirete gli anelli metallici apribili, che terranno assieme tutti i ricordi e il materiale documentato.
Per assicurarvi che i fori siano distribuiti uniformemente, basta usare un righello e una matita per segnare dove forare. Dal momento che gli anelli sono super facili da rimuovere, è possibile aggiungere pagine e documentazione a proprio piacimento... e il gioco è fatto!
