lovely jar

Hi crafter!

In these summer days, I'm enjoying a lot to fill and empty jars, especially the glass ones.
I love decorating them and give a touch of originality, using paper, wires and colours.
So even a messy person like me can find an order nice to see ... and to create!

The decorations on glass jars are also ideas for a wedding, as wedding favor, place cards or small gifts.

So,let's start working!
Every thing will have its tag!

NECESSARY:

Cardstock or paper scrap (black or grey)
Tissue paper
Scissors
Stick glue
Scotch bi-adhesive
Glass jar
Twinery
White pencil

Have a lovely day

Ciao crafter!

Allora tutti all'opera
Ad ogni cosa la sua targhetta Sizzix!

OCCORRENTE:
Cartoncini o carta scrap (nera o grigia)
Carta velina
Forbici
Colla stick
Scotch biadesivo
Barattolo di vetro
Filo bicolore
Matita bianca

A presto!

After die cutting the cute box I cut out the top part i.e. the "lid".
In this way I was able to create my basket.

After that I die cut the parts I needed for the basket handle...

Artist Trading Block Tree

Hi all! December is a such busy and exciting month!

If you check on my blog every day this month you will see lots of quick and easy ways to use your dies to help save time with all of your holiday preparations- to wrap gifts, decorate, package food gifts, make cards and 3D decor!

The project I made for you today is a mini-tree sitting on an Artist Trading Block base. This is the perfect little tree to tuck in a tiny niche in your kitchen to remind you of the season. Cleanup after Christmas is so easy too...

I decorated the tree with dies from Kitchen Labels, part of the brand new Vintage Kitchen collection.

The ornaments were die cut from metal sheets from MD Hobby and Craft,

and then I embossed them with the new Sunburst and Waffle Textured Impressions folders. They emboss so beautifully. It would also be fun to color them in with alcohol inks! I have to admit that I was surprised at how well the wafer-thin dies cut through the metal and I only did one pass through the Big Shot!

The pitchers and canning jars were hung on the tree with red and white twine.

The tree is sitting on top of an Artist Trading Block (Blocks/Cubes/Bank die) die cut from chipboard. I doodled some holiday sayings and images on the sides of the boxes and it made a nice sturdy base for the tree.

Underneath I tucked a die cut doily from a red velvety ribbon material from the Doily Medallion die.

I hope you will pop over to my blog for a look at some of the quick and easy ideas featured this week! My amazing Inspiration Team has been crafting up a storm- come and see!

I invite you to like my Eileen Hull Designs Facebook page- check in to see what's new. Or visit me on Instagram to see some behind the scenes looks at getting ready for the Craft and Hobby Show coming up in January. It's coming up quick and guess who is not ready...

Every month we host the Art with Heart Challenge- a place for you to show us what you're making. The theme this month is Holiday Traditions. We love to see what you are doing with the dies... and whoever enters has the chance to win a really nice giveaway. I hope you will stop by and post your latest creations on my blog.

Thanks for stopping by!
