DESIGN TEAM

For my project I made this tag with the digi Watermelon Margarita
from our sponsor Limited Runs Stamps. The image was coloured with colors pencils. I used an embossing folder to emboss dots on my background.

For this new challenge, I worked a card. I used a dots embossing design all around the card with not very homogeneous lines. The image that I used: BD Shark Cupcake from Limited Runs. I used the Paper Piecing technique; then I used a wide blue ribbon and a sentiment The sentiment is in Spanish, because I plan to give this card to a special friend.

For my card I used embossing folders with distress inks and  "Art Deco Flower", digi provided by our sponsor Limited Runs.

Hi everyone! For my card, I used "Vintage Cupid", of our sponsor Limited Runs. On my card I used embossing folders with different designs and effects.

I used Limited Runs Birds on a wire and Bird House, and gave them a background using embossing folders that were free with a magazine, there are three of them, and I enhanced the embossing with chalks.

This beauty is Helena Reis's Dia de los Muertos from Sweet Pea Stamps, I think she is gorgeous! I used a Sizzix Tim Holtz cracked glass embossing folder with Coordinations paper sanded to reveal black.

For this challenge we have two generous sponsors:

First Place will receive 7 images from Bugaboo Stamps

Second Place will receive 4 images from Sweet Pea Stamps

Third place will receive 2 images from Bugaboo Stamps

GUEST DESIGNERS:

(Added again because it was left out until Friday and it is too gorgeous not to be seen - thanks to Lori for being a great 2 month Guest Designer and we hope we see lots more of her work).
Lori said: I usually find backgrounds on an image so hard but these images just guide you to try. I teamed it up with a simple punched border.

For my card I used the cat image from Bugaboo. I plan to use it when I am not talking to my husband ... LOL

(I need one of these Lori - Cazzy x)

DESIGN TEAM

I've always loved horses. I think they are super smart animals
with a big heart!
My dream pet is a horse!!

For my second project I did a Easel Card for notes.
I used this lovely digi Regan Kubeceks puppy love from our

My dog, Lara, is the most loyal and funny friend that anyone can wish.. This lovely digi "Mini set dog blocks" provided by our sponsor Bugaboo is perfect to show all that funny faces that usually our dogs use to make.

Hi every one! To my project today, I made a card with my beautiful cat. She is my beautiful cat Bonnie , she is a beautiful young lady, playful and very spoiled . It is the first time I have a cat in the family and has been an adventure.
In this project I used the beautiful digi from our generous sponsor  Sweetpeastamps.

Cazzy
Apologies to Bugaboo, I should have finished this one last week. I used the brand new Mini Set Kidz Clowns to make this card, it is so cute I couldn't resist. I remembered some freebie circus paper I had that was perfect too. I just kept wanting to add little details, like the ticket, pom poms, twine and button!

I made a detachable pin badge too.

Inside the card is decorated in the same theme. Shown here with the badge detached from the front. I can't have cats due to my family having allergies to them, our dogs like to chase the ones that come into the garden. It would be a fantasy for me to have cats!

You know I have a thing about cute cat images don't you? Well this cat is so cute I had to show you, I don't think I have coloured it well, but I did my best. The cat image is from one of our great sponsors,  Sweet Pea Stamps and it is called Happy Himalayan by Concetta Kilmer.

Here is another Sweet Pea image,  A maiden and her unicorn by Concetta Kilmer.

Another Bugaboo image, Kidz Boy Puppy which reminds me of my grandson with our dogs.

I made a frame using the gorgeous norma-burnells-olivia-and-peter-digi, from our sponsor Sweet Pea Stamps, and using the Faber Castell watercolor pencil.

This is the most easy way to use the Digis and it is also beautiful. Just chose the color, print and cut. I used the Puppy-Love--heart-string_p_604.html digi, from Bugaboo Stamps.

Finally, I decide to make a Best Wishes card using this darling digi  Turtles--flower_p_1022.html., from our generous sponsor Bugaboo Stamps. This time I used watercolor pencils, some gems and embellishments.

Challenge #4 - "Our best friend"

To see who won the last challenge click HERE or scroll down to the next post

Hi...here Myriam! Welcome back!

To see who won the last challenge see the previous post below this one. We still have unclaimed prizes from previous challenges this year, please check to see if you won.

This challenge is about  "Our best friend".

The only rule for this challenge is to include the best friend
we can have: our pets!
It could be your dog, cat, fish, bird, etc and even your dream pet!

For this challenge we have two generous sponsors:

And are really happy to introduce a brand new sponsor:

PRIZES:

First Place will receive 7 images from Bugaboo Stamps

Second Place will receive 4 images from Sweet Pea Stamps

Third place will receive 2 images from Bugaboo Stamps

DESIGN TEAM:

I usually find backgrounds on an image so hard but these images just guide you to try. I teamed it up with a simple punched border.

For my first project I made a mini album from our pet: "Candy" a dachshund dog!
I worked the image with Spectrum Noir markers!

For my second project  I used the lovely Conie Fongs puppy-love  digi,
provided by our sponsor Sweet Pea stamps.
I colored with a mix on Spectrum Noir markers and color pencils.

For this week project, I chose an imaginary pet
-who doesn´t want to have a wise owl as a friend???-
The stunning digi Freya and Twinkle by Norma J Burnell from our sponsor Sweet Pea Stamps, was just perfect.
This stamp is design in "zentangle" -a technique that creates beautiful images from structured patterns-; so I try to keep all the beauty of the patterns with my multicolouring.
I used Graph´it Markers for skin, Spectrum Noir Pens for everything else and Polychromos pencils for shading.

Hi!! For this challenge in this week, I chose a cute  dog, like my little Tadeo.  He's my best friend when it comes out in the car.
He loves to walk with us and being a rescued puppy is very loving.
For that reason I chose SUMDOG+car from our sponsor Bugaboo Stamps because this digi is wonderful and looks like my dog.

To my project I made a interactive moving card ( the car is moving). I coloured this digi with acuarelable pencils and Spectrum Noir Pencils.

DORIS - is moving house and will be a little late.

Here I am at last with my first project. I chose The Kitty Collector by Regan Kubecek from Sweet Pea Stamps, and she has taken me several hours to colour with Promarkers. Some crazy cat lady, isn't she great!
Please excuse the photo, we have visitors over and I couldn't set up the mini photo studio, and tomorrow we are going to a funeral.
I hope to complete my Bugaboo project tomorrow night.
