Design Team

MONICA

I`m not a Halloween fan, but I love Autumn. It is my favorite color palette. For my make I used this beautiful silhouette "Tending The Vines" design by Floppy Latte and provided by our generous sponsor.
This is my idea for this challenge, I made a frame, because I love it. I used the lovely and cute image Edward & Bella, provided for our sponsor Stitchy Bear.

I made a Halloween treat box using the lovely witch Hang Tite.

Sorry I'm late again, I was away with family for the weekend and busy last week so I didn't get my card made in time.
I used two of IkeSart images merged to make my dungeon scene: Castle Room and Skelly Gossip. To this I added some bat sequins and some Tim Holtz spiders and webs and the sentiment.

To see who won the last challenge see the previous post below this one. You also can click HERE.

Reminder for Challenge #21 It's all about Girls and only two colours (that's Quirky)

Hi everyone, it's reminder time! You have until Saturday 24th October (at midday UK time) to play along.

I have to laugh sometimes at how some people read (or clearly don't) only part of the challenge details, and they then pass it on to their followers who don't read the details either.

We have a lot of very nice entries from people who have only noticed the challenge is about two colours, and have not picked up on the girl part. Some of those have actually got a girl on their project - but only by chance because they don't mention it, and of course those entries are eligible to be voted on.

The ones that have nothing obvious to do with girls will not be voted on, but thank you for sharing with us and I really hope you can enter a second project that can be voted on. I have been telling people individually if it isn't quite right. One rather scary scull card has been removed by it's creator after I commented that I couldn't really see what it had to do with girls.

I will tell everyone again, and I have changed the title, this challenge is about GIRLS, and you should only use TWO COLOURS, with extra colours allowed IF you use a stamped image or digital image, for the hair, skin and maybe tiny details. But the important thing to remember it is about the Quirky GIRLS!

We have three great sponsors for this challenge and they are:

The prizes for our top three as voted on by the team are:

1st place - 4 images of your choice from Sweet Pea Stamps

2nd place - 3 images of your choice from Jiggery Makery

3rd place - $5 voucher from Digital Delights

Here is some more inspiration from the wonderful Design Team, all of which includes those essential GIRLS, and two main colours!

Doris has used Princess from Jiggery Makery, and Princess was a limited edition digi which is no longer available. When you see them you need to buy them before they go!
Doris also used purple and green on her pretty card.

For my easel card, I´m using this stunning digi from design by Meredith Dillman "Steampunk Fairy" and provided by Sweet Pea Stamps.

The girls we like to have fun, go out and enjoy the music, the image I used is Penny - Pin Up inspired Digital Stamp - Party Themed, sponsor Jiggery Markey

This post is very special for me, is my last post as part Quirky Team. Cazzy thank my teammates and your support, your friendship.

In my project I'm using the seal beautiful Karen Middleton 's Summer Fairie our sponsor Sweet Pea.

I chose for my project a beautiful garden where this cute and sweet fairy rests.

I put my project light, allowing us to enjoy another form of this beautiful garden. Quirky's friends, we will be in touch with the technology that has allowed us to share at this time.

Hasta Siempre!

Sorry I'm late, I'm trying to get back to normal. This card is using Fairy on a Stool by Sal Scheibe from Sweet Pea Stamps, she is so delicate and pretty yet modern. My colours are yellow and brown. Flowers from Samaflora.

I love the attitude of this digi, she is Zoimar Lezama's Kitty Queen from Sweet Pea Stamps. Colouring went a bit wrong, I will explain on my blog. My colours are pink and black as you can see.

Challenge #21 For the Quirky Girls using only two colours!

Hi Everyone, Cazzy here and my challenge to you is to make something for the Quirky girls, and only to use two colours on your make - except for your image where a few colours are allowed for skin, hair etc.

Your project can feature girls, or be something very girly, or for a girl and can be any type of project that is hand made.

I've not been joining in much and making examples because of family illness and very stressful times, but I am working behind the scenes as usual to keep the challenges going and the brilliant team keep on making wonderful examples for you all to see - thank you.

I have some sad news, Kemly is leaving us and this is her last challenge. She has been a wonderful team member and we will miss her creativity and input to the team and challenges. Good luck to you Kemly for the future!

We have three great sponsors for this challenge and they are:

We would like to welcome Jiggery Makery sponsoring Quirky for the first time.

The prizes for our top three as voted on by the team are:

1st place - 4 images of your choice from Sweet Pea Stamps

2nd place - 3 images of your choice from Jiggery Makery

3rd place - $5 voucher from Digital Delights

How cool is that!

Our generous sponsors have all provided images for the team and guest designers to use, so let's show you some inspiration using those images, first from our Guest Designers.

Julye used Jumping Jemima from Digital Delights, isn't she fun! Julye made a Halloween card, so cute and you can see the two colours are green and purple..

Julye's second card features the beautiful Fairy on a Stool by Sal Scheibe from Sweet Pea Stamps, and her two colours here are pink and brown.

Lorraine used Missy Pin up from Jiggery Makery for her sassy Christmas card and her two colours are red and green. Perfect card for your Husband Lorraine!

and more from our wonderful Design Team.

Doris used Emmilou Boo- On Broadway from Sweet Pea Stamps on her purple and teal jumbo tag.

For my vintage TV shaped card, I used "Georgia.-Pin up" provided by our generous sponsor Jiggery Makery and to achieved challenge requeriments, I used differents shades from color grey.

For my card I used a beautiful ballet dancer, is a very feminine and delicate dance !!!! The image is
Katerina Koukiotis's Ballet de Papillion- DIGI, the sponsor THE SWEET PEA STAMPS.

Cazzy
Amazingly I have managed to make a card for my challenge! This digi is from Jiggery Makery and is called Cute Face 1. My colours are orange and yellow, which just happened when I looked for flowers to make her hair and I found a jar of these two colour flowers and went from there. All the details are on my blog.

Hi everybody! To this challenge I made a frame card.
I used the pretty "Elizabeth-Pin Up".

She's  beautiful in the cup. This girl is fantastic.

She looks even a little sexy or mischievous. This digi is very funny.

My colours are burgundy and yellow cream.

I decorated with ribbons and small flowers in the colors selected for this card.

So let's see what you can do!

For this reminder, I´m working with the 3d ribbon spool included on Sewing Machine Set. I chose to make it a little bigger and I cut it on transparency film paper, to fill it with buttons. Then I added ric- rac burlap ribbon, a pin, some flowers and a butterfly just to embellish.

KEMLY
