The Cutting Cafe are generously providing all three prizes for this challenge!
The prizes are:

Each set contains several sheets of images and sentiments so they are really good prizes! The Cutting Cafe also sell cutting files for electronic machines in different formats.
Challenge Details:
All About Boys with ric rac, buttons and a sentiment/phrase is the theme of our challenge. Babies are adorable and are a present every day of the year. So here you have a place to express your feelings for the babies and little boys. Remember: Is all about Boys and don´t forget you must use
ric rac, buttons and a sentiment/phrase, you can also use ribbons, lace, embellishments.
The Cutting Cafe kindly provided the team with two sets to use: All About Boys, and All About Babies.
I hope you enjoy this challenge, and I can not wait to see your creations!!
So, let´s see what our fabulous Guest Designer and Design Team have been up to...
The first project is a LO of a picture of my dad when he was four, by the year 1948. He has always loved cowboy stuff and that was my inspiration. I still remember myself, as a little girl, sat beside him every night, watching Bonanza… Good times
The second project is a favor box ship. I think this could be lovely for a boy baby shower.
I made another page for my new art journal (journalling could very well get to be addictive!). My page used lots of distress inks in the background with masking and inking through stencils. The main image is not of a baby, but of my son Alex who is now 5. I photoshopped the photo to make it look like a sketch drawing in vintage colours, I then added a stamped meadow scene from IndigoBlu and birds from Lavinia stamps. The frog, lizard and sentiment (used as a sun) are from Cutting Cafe's 'All about boys' set. I finished it off with tiny buttons for flowers and yellow ric rac as the suns rays.
Cazzy
This image is from the All About Babies set, the sentiment is part of the image. I cut out the mats with a new Spellbinders A2 Matting set of dies that are a really useful size I think. Coloure with Promakers and glittery ric rac added, with assorted buttons and some soft stars I found.
Every image used on this card is from the All About Boys set, even the waves! I cut around a wave to insert the little boat. One big button and some baker's twine. I didn't think the sparkly ric rac under the image showed up so I added some fluffly ric rac for clouds.
Sorry, I'm away (dog sitting) and didn't have any ric-rac, (so take out card, rip off baby feet ribbon and replace same card, re-vamped with ric rac!! Bet you never noticed! ) I nipped home and raided all my ribbon jars and found some scraps of white ric-rac and coloured them blue using a pale blue Promarker. A simple card using one of the wordings from our sponsor, just the right size to use my largest scalloped die-cut. Two baby buttons, a little suit and a bottle, with the backs cut off and fixed with silicon glue and three brad buttons. I also used some baby papers (some have glitter, some are double sided) from a set by Forever Friends, called 'New Arrival'.
For this card I use ALL ABOUT BABIES....PRINTABLE STAMP SET from our sponsor The Cutting Cafe' . I made imitation ric rac from the same card as the base, which serves to close the card, and in addition I used buttons, ribbon, a silhouette and coordinated colors. And of course the main phrase on each project.
This panel is made of lots and lots of layers (the first being a collage of ribbon, ric rac and buttons among other things) - I'll share pics on my blog later. Even my 'boy' colours ended up a little bit girly, but I tried to man it up a bit with the aeroplane image from The Cutting Cafe... what do you think? My sentiment is a quote by Eda J. Le Shan ("A new baby is like the beginning of all things - wonder,
hope, a dream of possibilities.") as I thought it went quite nicely with the flying theme I incorporated. I'm not sure what I'll be doing with this, I might stick it on a card or mount it onto the front of a journal, we'll see!
We now publish a midway reminder and you will see more great examples next week, some using different images from our sponsors, so watch out for the reminder post!
