 A few shots from 2014 of the daily Albert Cuyp market in Amsterdam. We used to live close by and walked every day over de market. When we had  left Amsterdam and moved to the middle of nowhere in a polder, we both missed it  very much. 

In the weekends we returned often to our "Cuypie" where you always can find something special .

At the spring sheep market in Almere last Sunday I saw this cute sheep on wheels. I don't have  grandchildren, otherwise I had bought it.

Here you could put your hand in that green tunnel to feel something from nature. The girl was mistrustful and didn't want to try. I can understand, I didn't either....

Glitter

Some remnant shoes for a low price at the Albert Cuypmarket in Amsterdam. But my attention was drawn by those glittering hanging balls in the back.

At first I thought is was meant to wear on your head, but it happened to be a handbag!

The Albert Cuypmarket in Amsterdam is a daily market with all kind of diversity.

Some items at the Saturday northern market in Amsterdam. My attention was attracted by the Chinese laquer box. I like it but didn't buy. I have too much '"things" at home already...

Fur coats

Fur coats, you see them with many hanging at second hand markets. They all belonged to our mothers who are dead now. The daughters don't dare to wear them in the streets as it is not done anymore to wear fur. I must admit I have one in my closet too, inherited from my mother when she had died. I have never worn it, but sometimes I take it out, look in the mirror, it fits me very well..... I still hope we once get a terrible icy cold winter...

Fluffy

I noticed "Fluffy"at the market in Amsterdam but his mistress was just moving along when I made this photo.

But fortunately she walked the right direction and I had my photo of "Fluffy"!

The Waterloo square market in Amsterdam,  dating from 1893, is the oldest fleamarket of the Netherlands, With 300 market stalls, six days in the week there is a lot to see and to find.
