Out and About

Yesterday being Wednesday I was pleased to join friends for lunch.  Back room of a local restaurant gave me a chance to sing with Louise...

Now to back up a bit.

This is the pattern I chose to make a wee giftie for each member...

Two and a half dozen were cut, pinned and ready to stitch..

Sewing done it was time to turn each one.

After they were quilted and the accessories were added I wrapped them.

I seem to have forgotten to take a picture of one finished.  I will remedy that tomorrow.

Blocks are done for my quilt for Francis.  I hope to quilt this one myself on my sewing machine.

A Month Ago

I thought it would be fun to have a few friends over before we got caught up in the holiday madness.

The dishes were my mother's.  They seemed the perfect thing for the autumn time of year.

An arrangement here...

A few pumpkins and a turkey there...

And we were done with the decorating.

I did remember to get a picture of all of us.

We enjoyed a grand evening just laughing together.
