On Sunday my computer stopped working all together.............  We took it to be fixed and it required a new hard drive...............

I lost EVERYTHING.......................

This morning I got the printer drivers downloaded............  I am now going upstairs to look for the word processing program............... 

Maybe in a couple of weeks I will be able to operate again..............

On The Needles (and off) Friday

Last week I tried one of the ornaments...........  It knitted up quickly........

And glued rather nicely to a glass ornament..........  I have had that pattern for years but never was able to find the satin ornaments so I never tried it.........  This works out rather nicely..............  Now to go upstairs and find more ornaments to knit a bit of lace for........

Jean's socks are all done and I can start knitting a pair for Bill...........  His will not have sparkles however.....

One dishcloth begun and nine more to make..........  I have made over 30 this year and given them all away....  I am still getting request so I suppose I will continue to make them.......

Great progress on my Company Sock..........  I keep a plain sock in the bag Peg made for me and keep it hanging on the arm of the chair in the breakfast room........  When someone stops by for tea I have something to keep my hands busy while we talk.........

I have also knitted four tassels.....  They are not complete yet as they need to be sewn together and I will stuff the top with a bit of a cotton ball.............  I hope to get enough made to decorate a small tree and sell them at the church bazaar............

Getting Together

Yesterday Marilyn brought her knitting and came by for a get together......,

Georgina brought some quilting projects and we enjoyed the morning talking and stitching...........

This morning I finally finished the four blocks I needed for the Guild.....................

This afternoon I will iron and put together the backing for my next quilt to be quilted........  I will take it with me to the Guild meeting and Lily will work her magic on it.......................

At the end of June I posted six projects that I was working on at one time..........  You can read about them HERE....

To date I have finshed none of them but I have added several..........  One is a knitted lace strip for a Christmas Ornament.............  You can find the information on this pattern HERE.......



I wasn't able to find the satin ornaments called for so I will be using some glass ornaments I have on hand.....

I am also now making some knitted tassels from a pattern that is free at Swallow Hill Creations....  You can find that HERE.....

So that brings the total to eight directions to go in................
