Start to Finish
Found this little knitted coin purse that was all done except for running the threads.... Found the pattern online but I am not too pleased with how it turned out.....
It is just the thing to put on my table to hold my thimble........
Finished the second of two tea towels for my flamingo loving friends...
Began the first stitchery of four to be the center square for the exchange blocks for the guild....
All cut out and ready to sew four cloth toys for the new babies in my life..........
Select half yard cuts to make this grocery bag for friends...... Great way to use up fabric and make room for more........
Cast on and began another baby sweater........ These are easy and fun to knit..........
Turned the heel on sock two.......... Jean will not need them till this winter and they should be finished by then.
Remember, blogging can be dangerous......... I came across Triangle Gatherings on Lisa Bongean's blog and I was enthralled.............. This is the beginning of my first eight blocks. You can find the information on the beginning HERE..........
The list of blocks is HERE..........
On the rack drying........
Now off to make a couple of cakes and maybe a loaf of bread while the roomba runs.........

From This
This is the fabric from the green tote........ There are always a few strays in each tote and this had some other colors too........
Now all cut into usable sizes.......... 14 fat quarters, ten inch squares, charms, and strips from 2 1/2 to 3/4..........
Matthew also brought a tote of cream fabric down from the attic that same day.... I am saving that to organize in August..........

A Finish or Two
At last I have two of the three dresses I planned completed...........
Each dress comes with a covered hanger and a stuffed cat.......
This fabric choice is for when Reba goes off with her father..........
Yesterday I also cut out four baby toys and spent some time organizing in the studio.........
Today I hope to finish the third dress in the six month size..........
Next week I will begin cutting the six I have planned for eighteen months.....

Completed
I do so enjoy making this baby sweater......... It is the Elizabeth Zimmerman Surprise Jacket......
Sorted my stash yarn last night and ordered a few more skeins since I did not have enough of several colors and I want to make more.
This one if for a new Great Great Nephew...............Hoping to get it in the mail soon....
I just had enough yarn to finish this one with no collar.... Not even enough matching yarn to use to sew on the buttons... Used scraps from the one above. Not the same shade but that is fine because most people will be looking at the baby and not the sweater. This goes in my donate box.....
This pattern knits up quickly and is perfect for the evenings when the mind is mush and I can just go into automatic and knit......
New idea for the centerpiece for breakfast room table.. Yes, I need to press the napkins..... Will get that done today............

Thank You Temecula Quilt Company
I digress....... This is what happens to wee darlings that rub their face in muck......... He has recovered and is now his fluffy self...... Till he does it again...........
Now on to the subject of this post........ I went upstairs to look for something and this is what I found. So pleased to see something that I had finished...... Even hand quilted it.... Amazing...
UPDATE: I checked with Temecula Quilt Company for the links for the projects. Alas the table runner is not one of their designs. If the Blog I got this from will let me know I would like to provide a link to the correct site.
Made these one year. Wee pincushions stuffed with crushed walnut shells... Had a grand time making these.....
The pincushions can be found at: http://temeculaquiltco.blogspot.com/2014/07/happy-independence-day.html
And don't they look lovely on the coffee table?
At long last I got the notebooks titled with my recipes......
This is the box that needs sorting and placed in plastic sleeves...... Maybe that will be done one day....
Spent the weekend in bed with a cold....... No joy at all.......... Not much better today so I must see the Dr this afternoon.........
Big weekend coming up as granddaughter getting married and a trip planned to Georgia the following week........

Update
The urge to cook arrived........
Food Lion in my area marks down their meats on Wednesday and Sunday........ I always check when I am in the store on those days.........
Found a pork roast, beef stew and a beef roast......... Brought them home and fired up the crock
pots...
I also found these new seasoning packages on sale and brought home a few....
First up was the beef stew.......... It was excellent...
Next the pork roast......... Tossed in three seasonings from the fridge that were almost empty....
It was soooooo good.......
I had company the rest of the week and it was delightful to have the cooking done. I was also able to give a meal or two to friends and froze the rest for me for later....... I do enjoy using my food saver....
I have been working outside during my designated sewing time but now that things have heated up here I will sewing in the mornings again.
While looking for my July 4th earrings I opened a box of bits and pieces......... Spread it out on the counter and spent the rest of the day sorting and putting away.........
Wade went outside and found something to rub his face in......... A bath is in his near future.......
Now off to release the Roomba and prepare for the Knit Witz to meet here today...........
