A few more touches...........

Just a few more additions to the living area.......  I re-hung the picture that Nancy painted.....

And Donna called saying that my arrangements were done........  This one for the dining room table.....

And this one for the table in the living room.............

Candles, curtains and maybe another touch or two and these rooms will be done..........VBG

From Pinterest I learned....

An easier way to polish silver...........  I was the lucky one to get my mother's silver hollow ware............

Now the time has come to clean it...........  The tip on pinterest suggested lining the sink with foil....

adding 1/2 cup of salt and baking soda.....

filling the sink with hot water...........

toss in the silver.......

let it soak for 30 minutes.........

Well, it still needs a bit more of a shine but quite a bit of the tarnish is gone and it will be much easier to clean the rest.............

I had to put it on a stand because the blossom was resting on the porch.....

On the Needles Friday.........

Hearing about a new baby in the family of a friend, I went upstairs yesterday to find something to make........

I uncovered this pattern and began after lunch..... I just haven't decided whether or not to put a hood on it or make the cap............  Any suggestions?

Two of the items I got at the auction on Sunday were baskets for $5.00..........  That is $2.50 per basket and I could not let that pass............  One for yarn........

And one for a plant on the back porch........

The plant from Kathy last year is just beginning to bloom again.......

It is going to be so lovely................

As I was taking a picture of the basket I noticed that the prayer plant from Jean was blooming....  It was almoest gone when I put it on the porch but has recovered well...........
