Happy Leap Year. My friend Itzel met me at my friends taco stand way out south. She bought me dinner for my birthday. It was nice, but so windy. My friend Cisco sets up there everyday but once football season starts he will be doing the tailgates again.

 Today they held a class on Sex Trafficking inside Kaos. I got to sit in for a little bit. Such a scary world we live in now days. I see parents not watching their kids and it only takes a few seconds to snatch them up and they could be gone forever.

That time again. Time to get my brows done. I get so red. I need to make time to get them done on a regular basis. Its not that much and it makes such a difference.

 Time to start managing the pool officers again. We open the pool March 1st. Most of the pool officers from last season are returning with 2 new ones. I hope they know that they better behave. I'm not taking any shit this yr. 

2/25/24

 Robert our new day shift manager took me to La Popular for lunch. Normally we can't use the managers comp card here, but the GM of the restaurant comped it for us. It was really good. I'm glad I finally got to try it. Went over to the kids house after work. AlexAnder was showing me his new truck. He's obsessed with cars/trucks/planes.

 Anna's grandson turned one today. They invited me to his party. He's so darn cute. They had a lion king themed party. I taught Anna how to make my spaghetti sauce. Now she can make it for me LOL 

2/23/24

 Gordon wanted to host a BBQ at his place. He said he would grill and to be there at 5. I got there about 5:15. Smook got there just before me. I haven't seen him in forever. This is the first time ever seeing him outside of work. But no sign of Gordon. He went somewhere with Diane. People started to arrive and he didn't even have the grill set up or any food. Are you freaking kidding me? So after about 30 mins of trying to decide on what we were going to do, Smook and I went to the store. We spent every last penny they sent. We got carne asada, chicken, ground beef to make burgers, salsa, tortillas, chips, micheladas. Then when we get back, I ended up grilling. Who gets invited to a BBQ and then gets stuck shopping and cooking? Its all good. We had a good time. Next time its at my place.

 When you are micromanaged, you go find something that will fix the security podium because some dumbass officer broke it. I found some brown tape and tape it together as a temporary fix. I'm quite proud of myself. Anything to stay out of the office.

 Literally pouring down rain. I don't want to go home, but I have to. I stopped in Baker to pick up some lottery tickets. Not a single winner in the scratch offs. Brandon and Meredith made me some cookies. I ate one on the way home and they were very good. In spots it rained so hard I could not see the car in front of me. I don't like driving in those conditions. I got home in about 5.5 hours. Normally that is a 3 hr drive.

Austin is off to Hawaii. He's going for a work conference. Wow what a nice place for that. Its pouring down rain. Better today than yesterday. I don't really want to drive home in it, so I am going to stay at Dominics tonight. First, Brandon, Meredith and I went to Build a bear so she could get the newest frog. They also wanted to get the squishy frog before they are discontinued. I guest Squishmellow is suing build a bear because theirs look too similar. I don't get the obsession with stuff animals, but they love them. That is bisquit. I left there and drove to Dominic's. Dominic was at work, so I hung out with Caitlin. We went to return some stuff from the party. Then we all went to dinner. Christopher, Kirstin, Robert and Cris left this morning. I will drive home tomorrow. 

2/18/24

 Me and Austin stayed the night at Brandon and Meredith's place last night. We are all going to meet at Dominic's and head over to their Engagement party later on. First we went to Brandon's job the Plot for breakfast. I had vegan chilaquiles. So so Good. You were never know it was vegan. We walked around a bit and then headed back to get ready for the party. They live about an hour away from Dominic. We met everyone at Caitlin's friends house. We finally got to meet her family and friends. Everyone was so nice. The party was awesome. She decorated it so pretty and the presentation of the food was amazing. She is very talented. Austin stayed with Dominic and I drove back to Brandon's place. Austin is leaving in the morning for Hawaii, so he wanted to be closer to the airport so Robert could take him. Othewise we would have had to get up super early to make it to the Ontario Airport from Brandon's. Again, it was so nice to have the family there. We had such a good time.
