Day 302

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
I felt like total crap at work today. I was coughing up a storm. Then they stuck me in Dispatch. We were short people and our other dispatcher is also a bike officer. So he went out and I came in. It was a pretty easy day otherwise. Came home took some cough meds and just chilled. I am waiting for the thousands of kids/adults that will flood our neighborhood. I was able to read the article in the paper. I'm pretty sure our numbers will be way up this yr.  My brother is already set up out front with his DJ equipment. The night was a huge success. I was up in bed when Jack and Tina came over with Connor. They asked if I would go with them. I said yes. It was too cute seeing Connor trick or treating. He was so cute as Superman. My mom was passing out candy across the street, so I just went and sat with her. I would say there was close to 3000 people here from about 5-10. Scott rocked the house. everyone loved having a dj out there. Lots of great costumes. After we ran out of candy we went out back and had a fire. It was nice to listen to the music and relax. Can't say there weren't any tears. So sad knowing this will be my last Halloween here.

Day 301

After work, me, Bridgette and Dina went out for dinner and drinks. Some how I was the only one who ended up in a picture. I was bummed that we didn't get a group shot. I had 2 vodka cranberries and chicken wings. I saved some room for popcorn. Bridgette and I were going to the movies after dinner and meeting Glenda there. We saw The Last Witch Hunter. Both of us loved it, Glenda not so much.  Came home and went to bed. I'm not feeling good again. I think my body is worn down. Im stressed about so many things and I can't get to feeling better. I'm drinking a lot more than I normally do to mask the sadness I have in my heart. Not the best way to go about things, but I don't know what else to do at this time. I am pretty good at faking I'm happy. I have learned that people don't really want to hear when you are having tough times. They only want to see the happy you. :)

Day 300

Had a Dr appointment this morning at 10, then a massage at 3, then I promised my boss that I would come over and take their pictures. Shelly my friend said she would help me out. Thank God. We got it done and then headed over to Juan's flaming fajitas. I told her I would take her out to dinner for helping me out. We had chili Verde and a pitcher of Margaritas. We had a great time. She's such an awesome person. She had a little too much to drink, so her husband had to drive over and pick her up. LOL I barely had a buzz.

Day 299

a fun day at Bartolo. Shelly, Becky and I were at Whitney in the hall of mirrors, but had to get a picture of the princesses next to the castle. ;) Went to lunch and went back for a few kids. Then it was home to nap. I can't get enough sleep these days. Today was also a day for randomness from the kids. 

Austin met a real life Astronaut. Jose Hernandez. Dominic responded, he's one of our people. LOL He really enjoyed meeting him. Right up Austin's alley.

Dominic got attacked by a mouse in his lab. He said he is going to turn into Mouseman. LOL. I told him to bite her back. He said she will be sacrificed tomorrow to science.

Brandon and Ten went swing dancing tonight. They had a blast but said both were pretty bad dancers. Dominic wants to become famous enough to go on Dancing with the Stars so he can make sweet sweet dance love to Sharna. She is one of the hottest dancers on the show. LOL I love my boys.

Day 298

I only got about 2 hours of sleep last night, Dominic put me on the couch to sleep and I was too afraid to fall asleep and snore. LMAO I've been fighting this cold and it makes me snore really loud because I'm congested. So I just tossed and turned. He had to work today. :( I asked if he could call off, but he couldn't, he was just given a new project starting today. So he called and said he would just be a little bit late. We went out to breakfast. I guess this place is their new go to place. It was pretty good. We said our goodbyes and I headed back to REALITY! I have enjoyed my days away from the daily stress here. It was nice to not think about anything that is going on in my world. I am going to miss him so much. Next time I see him will be Thanksgiving. I got home around 1:15. Crawled into bed and slept until 5:30. I needed that. Dominic sent this pic of the night he had his students of multicultural graduation.  It ended up in the yearbook. The boys went up to talk about their brother. No one was really prepared except Austin since he knew.   It made my heart so happy that the boys had such funny and sweet things to say about him. You definitely know they love each other.

Got a email from our Neighborhood watch gal. She listed somethings that have been going on in our neighborhood plus an update on Halloween that was in the Newspaper.
here is what she said:    (I wish I still had my decorations to put up. Sold them knowing I was not going to be here long)

Which leads us into Halloween. Hollywood Park Ave will be closed off again this year. If you saw the RJ they are expecting up to 3,000 people (probably more now) to be walking thru here. 

Day 297

Beth and I slept in to about 9. That was nice. We got up and got ready to go to breakfast. She took me to one of her fav places. It was a cute little cafe. Food was pretty good. But too much. I didn't really eat all of it. After that we went to check out Paul's printing shop. They started out at a local t-shirt printing company and now are going national. It was cool to see. I wish I had taken pics. Went back to Beth's house and watched The Walking Dead and talked. Her cute dog Jelly Bean kept biting me, so I tried to take a picture of here doing it. I was able to get one, sort of. Didn't hurt was just funny. Dominic gets off work at 4:30, so I figured if I left her house around 4. I'd be to Sonia and David's by 4:45. I was a little off because there was a car accident about half way there. Traffic was at a stand still for about 15 min. I got to the house and Me and Dominic just caught up and waited for Sonia and David to get home from seeing her dad. He's getting little bit better, but still not out of the woods 100%. She brought home some Italian food and her mom and we all sat out back. The weather was perfect. Dominic is the one who strung up the lights in their back yard.

RAIDERS!!! Its time! I've been waiting a whole yr for this. Got up at 5:00 because Beth and Bobby were going to be showing up at 6:00. I'm glad I took a shower last night so I could get my hair all curled and pretty this morning. Last night Arlene made some breakfast burrito's and I rolled them. We had them this morning. Got in the truck and made it to San Diego by 8:30. Gates weren't open up yet, but we hoped the gate and staked out our spot. they picked one on the end. Tailgating is so much fun when you are surrounded by people who are there to have lots of fun!. We got into the stadium a little after the game started. The lines were super long. The Raiders had already scored. I was seated about 5 rows back from where they were sitting. We had some rowdy fans that almost came to blows. Thank God they didn't. The Raiders were up for the whole game. I can't remember the last time the Raiders won in San Diego. Since they were winning by so much, everyone wanted to leave after the 3rd quarter. I was so sad about that. I don't ask to leave when the Raiders are losing, but since I was tagging along with everyone, I kind of had to go with the flow. Once we left the Chargers scored 2 touchdowns. They still needed 2 more to to win, but it didn't happen. Went to dinner at this brewery place. I'm not a big fan of fancy beers. I'm a pretty simple girl. Food was good. We got back to Beth's house around 8. We both showered and we were going to watch the Walking Dead, but we decided to hit the sack and watch it tomorrow. It was a great day! 

Day 295

On my way to Cali. I will be staying at Arlene and Pauls house since Beth is in Temecula for a concert tonight. They are dear friends of hers. While driving down to Cali and I get these pics from Ten. Her and Brandon went dressed up as Zombies to her friends party. she did a good job with the makeup. Once I got to Arlene's house I helped her make some burrito's for the morning then showered and went to bed. Its going to be an early start tomorrow.

Day 294

Work, then came home and went to a early dinner with my mom to Cafe Rio. I had to make it early because I was going out to Moapa with the Girls tonight to go thru the Haunted Corn Maze. There were 7 of us. I drove us out. It was only $10. It was so worth it. We had such a good time. I think there were a couple of us that may have pee'd our pants just a little lol After the maze I got into one of those inflatable balls and tried to stand up and walk around on water. OMG it was much harder than I thought it would be. I couldn't stand up to save my life. I guess walking on water is only for Jesus :)  Got out and drove back home. It was such a fun night out.

Day 293

Well we are really into make-up season. Shelly, Terry and I worked at Jacobson today. We had so many make-ups I felt it was a normal day, except we got done at 12. We had started tearing down the equipment when we got a call from the office that we had a online order. Damn it. Thank God we had the kid already in the camera. Once all the stuff was completely put away and I had downloaded the days work, we got another call saying we had 2 more. WTH? I had to go back in delete what I had just done and look for the 2 kids. Thank God they were also already in. Just had to change their order. We got out of there finally about 12:30. Shelly and I went to the Mac Shack for lunch. We sat and talked until 3. I had an Dr appointment at 3:45 but called to see if I could come in early since I was on that side of town. They said yes. YAY! Then Glenda met me over at Queens nails for a pedicure. I wanted to get my toes done before I head to Cali this weekend for the game. They came out cute, but last yrs were better.
