Met up at Pams house for a quick drink and toast. 

What a crappy night tonight was. Not only did it suck that I had to work, but I only had 3 rides tonight scheduled. The last one was to pick up someone from the airport/Customs. I drove out to the airport and waited for this girl who was coming in from Cancun to spend time with her dad. I waited for about 1 hour and no sign of this kid. (16yro) My coworker called me and asked if I had forgotten anything. I wasn't sure what he meant at the time. He proceeded to tell me that I was to pick up the dad and then head to the airport. OMG, I totally misread my instructions and missed that step. No wonder the girl walked right past me and up to the 2nd level for pick up. Her dad told her to meet him there with me. WTF, the other driver brought the dad down and we waited/looked for another hour for his daughter. I was a basket case. She had lost her phone in Cancun so we didn't have a way to contact her. She finally went to a house phone and called her dad. We located her after almost 2. 5 hrs. I was in panic mode. Thank God we found her. The guy tried to give me $20 for a tip, but I tried to decline it due to me "losing" his child. He insisted on it. I could not stop crying. I hope I don't get into trouble for that. Dustin came down to my work to spend a little time with me since I was working. It was nice to see him. I just wish I was with him at the stroke of midnight. Instead, I was sitting in a damn limo. The girls had invited me over to Pam's New Years Eve party. I wasn't sure I was going to go since I'm so exhausted. I did go after all. I'm glad I did. It was nice to have a quick drink and toast to the new year with these lovely ladies. I've missed them and I hope since I spent New Years eve with them that it means they will be in my life more this coming year.

cool pic from the morning

As I was waiting for the shuttle to take me to Palms Place to get info for a report, I saw what I thought was a cool situation for a picture. I think it turned out good. I got taken over to PP and I went up to the room that was reported for excessive cleaning fees. I can't believe how filthy people are willing to leave the rooms. I wonder a lot if people actually live like this at their homes. Food was thrown everywhere and smashed into the carpets. Unbelievable. They will now have to pay an additional $250 to have the room cleaned. After work, I scrambled to get to my limo job. They had me scheduled 2-10. I get off the Palms at 2. Its going to be the same way tomorrow only I work the Palms until 4pm and I start Turnberry at 4 pm. crazy shit. While at work, which was the busiest I have been since starting there, Austin sent us all pics of him bouldering with his friends. I got him some bouldering shoes for Christmas. He said they worked perfectly. I'm so happy because I thought for sure they were the wrong size. They looked too small for his feet but apparently they are made to have a very high arch to help with the toe positioning on the rocks. He said he was out of shape because its been a couple of weeks since he's gone. He had a great time. I had a great time at work. Made some good tips. I'm a Hustler baby!!!!!

Friendships 12/30/18

To all of you who are my friends, this is for you. I know some of us don't talk much these days, but there isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about all the fun times we've had. There is one friend in particular, who I miss, but she has chosen to no longer be friends. I want to thank her from the bottom of my heart for all the years of friendship we did have. I had some of my best times with you. I wish you nothing but happiness, lasting love and forever friendship with those that come into your life.
Life this past yr has been super hard for me. A lot harder than I could ever imagine. I'm thankful for those of you still in it, I'm thankful for the hard times that I've endured. I have become a lot stronger for it. I've realized that I can make it in this world alone. It's just more fun with friends and loved ones in your corner......Here's to the future and whatever it made hold!!!

Yet another 16+ hour day. It will all be worth it in the long run, but right now I'm running on fumes. Here is the basement where the limo job is located. Only way to get phone reception is to stand in the middle of the back section. I probably look like an idiot on camera standing out there, but if I want to talk to Dustin that is the only way I can. If you look over my left shoulder you can see how far from my limo I have to walk to get it. LOL A girls gotta do what a girls gotta do to talk to her sexy ass man. lol Love ya babe!

Fun night making sushi and hanging out with the kids. It was a last min thing, but so much fun. We had so much food leftover that we made poke bowls. We all sat around the table in hopes of playing a new game, but we ended up having a really healthy and spirited conversation. I love how real we all can be with one another. One of us was getting a little upset, (nope it wasn't me this time), so we toned down the conversation. I so wish we could have videoed this night. Something that would have been interesting to relive at a later date and see if view points have changed. I only wish Austin was there because he is also very insightful.

Kirstin's friend Lisa gave me one of her old ceiling fans because she got new ones. The one in the game room wasn't working, (so many things in this house aren't working) so I was going to have Dustin put it up, but Art, the roommate was kind enough to do it today. I will now have light in the room as soon as I get some bulbs for it. At work, one of the residents owns a liquor store in another state. She gave everyone a bottle of some sort of alcohol. I got this one. I have no clue what it is and how to use it. I just thought it was funny that there was a nun on a bottle of alcohol, lol
Work sucked tonight. I had to work until midnight and I only had 4 rides. It was super cold and in the basement we have no cell service unless we stand in this one particular place. I literally stood in that spot the last 1.5 hrs of work. I probably looked pretty dumb on the camera's, but it was better than having nothing to do. tips also sucked. I've been told it shouldn't be about the tips, but it is. Who's kidding who?

Christopher and Kirstin went to another Golden Knights game. I'm so Jellies. Her dad got them tickets for Christmas. I'm glad they can go and have this as another thing they have in common that they love. Sports can definitely bring people together. Go Knights Go!!!!!

Dominic's Christmas gift arrived today. I was bummed it didn't get here before Christmas.  I had some of his old t-shirts turned into a blanket. It turned out great.  I think he liked it. I hope he did. 
After work, I took like a 30 min nap and then the kids came and picked me up to take me to Cafe Rio for dinner and then to see Aquaman. Brandon drove over to his friends Tanner house. He hasn't seen him in a long time. I'm sad he didn't go, but glad Kirstin could make it. We picked a time that worked with her getting home in enough time. The movie was cheesy, but good. And what's not to like about Jason Momoa? DAMN HE'S SEXY. Glad I was able to spend a little more time with Austin before he leaves tomorrow. I will be at work when he does leave.

Had to work both jobs today, so it doesn't feel like Christmas. Robert and Kirstin sent me pics of their time at his place. They look like they had a good time. Still sick, so they napped wherever they could find. I worked the limo job and one of my stops was to pick up someone from tower 4 from the Palms. I waited and finally text him to say I was there. Well he forgot to call and cancel the ride. Wasted trip to the palms when I could have picked up someone else. He felt bad about not calling so he left me $20 dollars at the front desk of tower 4. That was super nice.

Christmas eve the last 4 yrs has been Roberts day to spend with the kids. Today is the only day I have time to do anything really with the kids. I worked until 2, came home and took a nap. Then I got up and made spaghetti. Definitely not our typical Christmas dinner. Everyone pretty much had to work. Christopher, Kirstin, Me and Dustin. We ate and then we opened gifts. Brandon made me an awesome Golden knights picture from cardboard and foam board. I was amazed by his creativity. Austin made me a Raiders light. OMG, its fabulous. It changes colors and its RAIDERS and Made by him. Dominic got me a smart tv. Now to get someone to hook it up. love it. Christopher and Kirstin got me a gear 360 camera. You take pics and it will show up in 3D. Pretty cool. And some cool golden knights/raiders shirt and car decal. Dustin got me a Raiders tapestry that will go up in the Raiders room. He also got me a beautiful necklace from a store I have been sending pics of jewelry from. He did good this yr. Not that he hasn't in the past, but this yr it wasn't just Raider stuff. I love my necklace. I think everyone had a wonderful Christmas. I love my family and I love that they are here. Wish some of us weren't so sick, but being together is all that matters.
