Community Services

Colleges and universities are placing an emphasis on the importance of community service. Creating a generation
that restore value for the community is the goal of education. In fact, it is observed in every part of the world, that
government and higher learning institution invests time and financial resources in promoting community service. In this
study, the effect of community service on student development was examined. A total of 344 students in different program
such as marine engineering, arts, criminology, hospital management and elementary, technical and secondary education from
Technological Institute of the Philippines, Quezon City, Campus and Palawan State University, Cuyo Campus was used as a
sample in the study. The data has been gathered on community engagement (level of community engagement behavior),
number of hours and frequency of involvement, and type of service and student development (interpersonal, productivity,
leadership and social and ethical responsibility) as variables. The study used descriptive research design. The data gathered
is analyzed with multiple regressions using a stepwise method with a backward deletion method to eliminate weakest
variables in predicting the influence of community engagement in students‟ development and p-values < 0.05 were
considered significant. Community engagement (β =0.411, p<0.000), no. of hours volunteering (β =-0.096, p=0.043) and
type of service (β =-0.112, p=0.023) emerged as predictors. The results of the study suggest that community service partially
affects students‟ development when combined with other factors (academic service learning, etc.) --- which is not involved in the study may greatly influence student development.

Purpose and approach
The purpose of this scoping review is to identify and address key issues around workforce development for intermediate care services. The review has four goals:
1. To determine whether specific staffing approaches can be identified for the different models of intermediate care;
2. To examine the roles of staff involved in intermediate care delivery;
3. To identify the workforce development necessary for staff to deliver an effective, quality service, and
4. To help workforce developers commission appropriate education and training to meet intermediate care workforce needs.
It contains recommendations drawn from the existing evidence and practice base for workforce planners, strategic commissioners of services and service managers.

Pemanfaatan tanaman Kelor adalah salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan dalam menangani masalah kesehatan tentang stunting. Tujuan pengabdian ini memberikan pendampingan kepada Ibu-ibu PKK Di Desa Oenai untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan tentang adanya makanan bergizi untuk pertmbuhan anak-anak. Metode yang digunakan adalah ceramah, diskusi, tanya jawab, praktek pengelolaan makanan dan buku petunjuk pengelolaan makanan. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah peningkatan pengetahuan setelah mengikuti kegiatan pelatihan tentang pengolahan makanan bergizi. Peserta dari kegiatan pelatihan ini telah mampu menghasilkan beberapa jenis makanan olahan dari daun kelor dan dapat dikomersialkan meskipun masih dalam kalangan terbatas dan kegiatan posyandu dan kegiatan PKK di Desa Ini.

Di tengah pandemi virus corona yang terjadi di Indonesia saat ini menyebabkan jumlah tenaga kesehatan yang terinfeksi Covid-19 terus bertambah. Tidak hanya dokter, perawat dan tenaga pendukung medis lainnya pun terinfeksi oleh covid 19. Sampai saat ini IDI mencatat lebih dari 180 tenaga kesehatan meninggal dunia akibat corona. Para tenaga kesehatan berguguran karena minimnya Alat Pelindung Diri (APD) dan kelelahan. Pencegahan kontak langsung antara pasien tanpa gejala dan tenaga kesehatan merupakan cara untuk menghindari tenaga kesehatan tertular covid 19. Alat pelindung diri (APD) yang digunakan tenaga kesehatan berfungsi untuk mencegah kontak langsung antara Pasien tanpa gejala dan tenaga kesehatan, akan tetapi saat ini harga APD sangat mahal dan susah didapat. Alternatif pencegahan lain adalah melakukan test swab kepada pasien tanpa gejala, akan tetapi biaya test swab juga tidak murah. Perlu sebuah alternatif penapis bagi pasien tanpa gejala berobat ke puskesmas, sehingga pasien yang berpotensi terpapar covid 19 tidak bertemu tenaga kesehatan yang tidak menggunakan APD. Kami mengusulkan sebuah sistem pakar diagnosa covid 19 dengan lie detection untuk digunakan bagi pasien yang hendak berobat ke Puskesmas sebelum mereka bertemu langsung dengan tenaga kesehatan. Metode certainty telah banyak digunakan untuk mendiagnosa covid 19 dengan akurasi mencapai 90%, control question dan pupil detection berfungsi untuk mengetahui apakah Pasien yang hendak berobat tidak berbohong ketika menjawab pertanyaan mengenai gejala gejala terpapar covid, rekam jejak perjalanan dan riwayat keluarga yang terpapar covid. Kombinasi antara sistem pakar dan lie detection diharapkan dapat menjadi alternatif pelindung pertama tenaga kesehatan dari pasien tanpa gejala.

This is a short report on our community service program. We successfully carried out a 2-day Training of Trainers program for Korean Language instructors at Korean Language Private Courses across Indonesia. This has been our 2nd time of implementing this community service specially geared towards those teaching Korean Language for Indonesians eager to be migrant workers in Korea. As part of our department's program, this training is designed to assist them in preparing their daily classes teaching materials in ways that they may never have thought about. With out-of-the-box approach, we share our expertise and experiences of teaching Korean language to migrant workers.

Özet Bu çalışmada öğretmen adaylarının toplum için gönüllü ve yararlı çalışmalar yapabilmesi amacıyla okul öncesi öğretmenliği lisans programlarında zorunlu ders olarak yer alan " Topluma Hizmet Uygulamaları " dersinde Mobil Anaokulu Projesini yürüten MEB Bağımsız Hayriye Andiçen Anaokulu Müdürlüğü ile işbirliğine gidilmiştir. Bahar dönemi boyunca dersi alan öğrencilerle birlikte dersin teorik saatlerinde eğitim etkinlikleri için gerekli hazırlıklar yapılmış, uygulama günlerinde Mobil Anaokulu' nun o dönemde hizmet götürdüğü Ankara'nın Sincan İlçesi Peçenek Köyü'ne gidilerek dersin amacına uygun bir şekilde eğitim çalışmaları sürdürülmüştür. Bu araştırmayla da bu süreçte verilen eğitimin çocukların gelişimlerini destekleyip desteklemediğini belirlemek amaçlanmıştır. Abstrak Pelatihan pembuatan desain merchandise pada penduduk Kampung Warna-warni Jodipan bertujuan untuk : (1) Penduduk Kampung Warna-warni Jodipan dapat membuat desain merchandise (2) Penduduk Kampung Warna-warni Jodipan mampu mengaplikasikan desain merchandise menjadi produk merchandise yang laying untuk dipasarkan atau dijual sebagai oleh-oleh wisatawan yang berkunjung ke Kampung Warna-warni Jodipan. (3) Penduduk Kampung Warna-warni Jodipan memiliki keterampilan memproduksi merchandise sehingga dapat menumbuhkan semangat untuk merintus usaha baru (wirausaha). Metode pelatihan yang digunakan adalah dengan menggunakan metode ceramah, tanya jawab, tutorial dan praktek langsung membuat desain hingga produk merchandise. Hasil yang diperoleh dari pelatihan ini adalah (1) Peserta pelatihan (penduduk Kampung Warna-warni Jodipan) mampu memahami konsep pembuatan desain yang mencerminkan ke khasan Kampung Warna-warni Jodipan (2) Peserta Pelatihan terampil dalam membuat atau mengaplikasikan desain menjadi merchandise khas Kampung Warna-warni Jodipan. (3) Peserta mampu mengembangkan hasil karya pelatihannya menjadi suatu produk yang layak jual sehingga menghasilkan nilai ekonomi bagi mereka.

This community service program aims to share my practical experiences as an Indonesian researcher on finding current research topics, specifically in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) teaching and learning. The participants of this online workshop were seventeen (17) lecturers in the English Language Education program at Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Conducted synchronously in a Zoom platform, the workshop started with my presentation on three main points: (1) "my ways" in finding research topics, (2) my published articles that might provide writing ideas for the participants, and (3) reasons why the participants need to write and publish their work in an academic journal. This presentation session was ended by a question and answer session from the participants. Some reflective questions for Indonesian researchers and ideas for future community service programs were also presented.

How does the meaning of space emerge and get negotiated when individuals of diverse backgrounds interact with each other? Studies reporting that African Americans tend not to spend time in outdoor space attribute this finding to limited access to resources, cultural values, degree of assimilation to mainstream practices, discrimination in outdoor space, or a perception that outdoor recreational space is “white space”. Little research has addressed how such meanings relate to other meanings attached to outdoor space, let alone how this happens through interactions between people with different views on outdoor space. This article, based on interviews and participant observation of college students on an alternative break trip from the Northeastern U.S. to New Mexico in 2014, shows how students of various backgrounds experienced nature differently, how differences were articulated and explained, and how they subverted normalization processes that render not “being in tune with nature” as deficiency. Suggesting that geographies of race are fluid and influenced by individuals’ agency, this article calls for encouraging students to examine the ways their subject positions have shaped their experiences and challenge cultural bias in what is deemed universally desirable.

Xaverius 2 Elementary School, Palembang as a partner of our community service, has the problems related to Classroom Action Research (CAR). Our interviews with school principals indicated that the teachers had not yet applied CAR. To cope with this problem, our team facilitated a training about CAR. We started by determining partners. After that the team and partners justified the problems and solutions, and then prepare a work plan. This activity was be planned in two phases, the first phase is to relearn the concept of classroom action research. The second phase is making a proposal. The results of first phase showed an increase in knowledge and understanding of participants from 55% (pretest results) to 76.7% (posttest results). In the second stage, 22% of participants compiled a research proposal. The results show that all proposals cannot be categorized as classroom action research proposals. We also found that 50% of the proposals indicated plagiarism. Evaluation of the activities shows that partners consider this activity important. They consider that the concept of classroom action research presented is complete and easy to understand.

This paper is based on two EU funded projects: Life 2.0, which was recently completed , and My Neighbourhood, which is still on-going. The goal of the former was to create location-based and socially networked services to support elderly people in living independently. The aim of the latter is to develop a platform to activate hidden or latent resources in neighbourhoods. Both of the projects are an application of service design to the public sector and together provide useful insights about designing and scaling up highly localized and personalized services and service platforms. While several analogies can be found between the existing generation of social networking platforms and the services proposed in these projects, there are also several important differences that challenge the way local and individual services should be designed in the perspective of being scaled-up to larger contexts.
This paper reflects on the lesson learned from the work undertaken so far and proposes criteria and hypotheses for the diffusion of these types of services.

In this study, the effects of student club activities in high schools in Kars province, Turkey on the development of students' social skills, democracy and governance skills, recreation education and community service skills were examined. The qualitative research technique was used in the study and data were collected with the semi-structured interview technique. The data were obtained from 8 school principals and 12 club advisors from different school types determined with the maximum variation sampling method. According to the results, the educators in the sample concluded that the student clubs achieved their objectives in the theme of democracy and governance skills but were not effective in the other themes. The reasons for this ineffectiveness emerged as deficiencies in the physical environment in the schools, lack of time allotted for activities, excessive numbers of students in the clubs and unwillingness of teachers with regard to club activities. It was suggested that if the choice of whether or not to engage in club activities is left to students, the activities in clubs will become more attractive and thus their effectiveness will increase.

Millennials tend to want food that is practical, easy to get, but at an affordable price. These habits make the millennial society&#39;s eating patterns become instantaneous. In addition, the role of the NUTREAZY application innovation is to increase the branding of quality MSME products and attract consumer buying interest. Delivery services can add value to the services of MSMEs while at the same time responding to the wishes of the millennial community with digital services that are easily available.

The community service (Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat/PkM) held in 2019 is a continuation of PkM which was carried out in 2018 on how LPK (Lembaga Pelatihan Kerja) instructors and students interpret the EPS TOPIK (Employment Permit System-Test of Proficiency in Korean Language). Based on the assessment of the ability and weaknesses of prospective PMI (Pekerja Migran Indonesia=Indonesian Migrant Workers) in understanding Korean, the Korean Language and Culture Program conducted the second PkM which was specifically intended for instructors at LPK through Training of Trainers (ToT). The ToT participants were 30 instructors, members of PELBAKORI (Association of Korean Language LPK in Indonesia). The material provided in this ToT were: (a) Important steps to mastering Korean vocabulary and grammar and (b) Points to ponder in understanding Korean culture.

Background: Community engagement has been given different interpretations by scholars
and organisations; in addition, current scientific literature has not reached a consensus on how
it is defined. This difference in conceptualisation may lead to confusion regarding the meaning.
The researcher observed that academic staff from the Faculty of Health Science at an institution
of higher education in Namibia are not certain of what counts as community engagement. This
has led to some activities from the faculty being cancelled from the institutional review reports
as they were not recognised as community engagement.
Aim: The aim of this article is to describe the concept analysis of community engagement.
Setting: the study took place at a faculty of health science at a university in Namibia.
Method: Concept analysis was done in accordance with the eight steps of the Walker and
Avant model. A literature search was conducted to capture all potential definitions and uses
of community engagement. A total of 225 definitions and uses of community engagement
were recorded and used in the concept analysis. A list of definitions and uses of the concept of
community engagement were documented with their citations, in a table with three columns.
The first column (analysis) consisted of the identified definitions and uses of community
engagement from the relevant literature. The second column (synthesis) consisted of reduced
statements of the content presented in the first column. The third column (derivation) consisted
of the final reduction into categories and connotations derived from the second column.
Findings: Three broad categories were revealed as findings: (1) the antecedents of community
engagement, which included community challenges, health inequalities, societal needs and
the need for a social responsive approach in education, research and services; (2) a three-phase
process of community engagement; and (3) the outcomes of community engagement.
A theoretical definition and a conceptual map for the concept of community engagement
were drawn from the findings.
Recommendation: The results of the concept analysis of community engagement will be used
to develop strategies for its facilitation in the Faculty of Health Science.

The INTERNATIONAL CULTURAL TOURISM CHARTER Managing Tourism at Places of Heritage Significance (1999) has acknowledge the relation between cultural heritage and tourism with tourism being able to act as a tool for urban conservation through generating funding for development of heritage areas, educating and improving the quality of life of hosting communities (ICOMOS, 1999)
Cultural tourism could be exceptionally beneficial for the developing countries as it can diversify the economy through the earning of hard foreign cash. Cultural tourism has sometimes acted as an activator for conservation programs for overlooked monuments, archeological sites and sometimes an entire urban area. Cultural tourism could also Raise community awareness and appreciation of the local culture. In addition; tourism activities encourage the idea of reuse of abandoned buildings within the historic fabric, hence improving the built environment and its quality of life. However, in many countries, most of the tourism income is utilized in providing facilities and upgraded infrastructure for tourists. (Orbasli, 2000, pp. 39-41)
The idea of adaptive reuse of buildings for tourism activities provides a role and function to an otherwise vacant structures. Adaptive reuse actions might provide a financial resource for the community by encouraging a continued local ownership of the existing building stock to accommodate small-scale activities that can directly benefit the local economy. Spatial requirements for the tourism industry as represented in accommodation, services, commerce and cultural activities are flexible and adaptable to historic buildings. (Orbasli, 2000, pp. 43-45)

Moreover, while tourism is, definitely, an economic-generating sector, it can sometimes replace the historical crafts, small scale industries and local trades with larger scale touristic commercial outlets. It might have negative social impacts as well in some host communities whenever they feel that their privacy is invaded if the inner courts, small cul-de-sacs and narrow streets were not kept private anymore. A bigger social threat resulting from cultural tourism to historic areas is gentrification. As the historic quarter becomes a major tourist attraction; development efforts move towards supplying the historic core with touristic services, which is frequently done through the replacement of low-income community groups with commercial and retail activities. (Orbasli, 2000, pp. 58-66). This results in the historic quarter losing its mixed-use nature, or even its “Disneyfication” where the authentic community would either be removed or forced to leave making the tourists’ experience, as well as the city life, ‘unreal’.
Cultural tourism could become beneficial to urban conservation of historic quarters contributing to its economic growth and positively impacting the physical environment of the local community and providing economic prosperity through job creation and increasing the community’s awareness and appreciation of their heritage. However, when not controlled, cultural tourism could have catastrophic impacts on both the built heritage and the local community.

Abstract

Financial planning is an important thing that must be done by everyone so that the money obtained can be utilized optimally to improve the welfare of life, without good financial planning it does not rule out the possibility of spending greater than income. In Indonesia, it turns out that only 12.6% of the population has conducted financial planning. Therefore it is very important to gain knowledge about financial planning that learns how to manage debt, invest and prepare for retirement through a community service. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide knowledge to the employees of PT Atrya Swascipta Rekayasa about financial planning, how to manage debt and pension preparation in order to improve the welfare of the employees of PT Atrya Swascipta Rekayasa. The method used in community service activities at PT Atrya Swascipta Rekayasa is to hold a short talkshow and a workshop on financial planning, managing debt and retirement preparation. The expected outcome of this community service activity is that employees of PT Atrya Swascipta Rekayasa can gain knowledge and try to apply knowledge about financial planning, how to manage debt and retirement preparation so that the welfare of these employees can increase over time.

Pada Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat kali ini terdapat dua bidang permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh pengusaha kecil di Jalan Akasia, yaitu bidang mikro dan makro. Ekonomi Mikro biasanya menganalisis masalah ekonomi yang spesifik, contohnya perusahaan atau instansi, sedangkan ekonomi makro biasanya mempelajari masalahmasalah yang lebih rumit, seperti keuangan negara. Permasalahan Mikro yang dihadapi pengusaha kecil di Jalan Akasia yaitu media promosi seperti spanduk rusak dan tidak terawat, kurangnya media atau saran promosi seperti media cetak ataupun online maka solusi yang ditawarkan adalah melakukan perbaikan spanduk serta mendesain serta membuat beberapa media promosi seperti spanduk, logo, brosur, kartu nama maupun WA Bussiness, Facebook dan Instagram. Adapun masalah makro yang dihadapi yaitu kesadaran akan pentingnya bahasa-bahasa iklan sebagai media promosi masih sangat minim, kurangnya kesadaran akan pentingnya menggunakan media cetak maupun berbasis online dalam mempromosikan barang/jasa yang ditawarkan. Maka, solusi dari permasalahan ini yaitu melakukan sosialisasi kepada pedagang mengenai bahasa-bahasa iklan yang bersifat persuasif sebagai medianya.

Students find it hard to engage themselves in the community activities due to some factors related to their academics, personal and social life in college. Measuring the student outcomes from the service learning experiences could help the institution in assessing the relevance of curriculum with some student activities. This study aims to describe the learning experiences of engineering students from their community involvement based on the selected student outcomes in terms of cognitive, affective and psychomotor domains of learning. Descriptive type of research was utilized in the study with 102 engineering students served as participants. Result showed that two (2) in every five (5) engineering students have average to high level of interest to participate in the community extension related activities. But they are willing to join primarily if they have free time together with their friends and classmates and if there will be additional points for their academic performance. Academic aspect is a major reason for students why most of them could not be able to join the community extension activities. Male engineering students have significantly higher learning experiences as defined in their student outcomes in developing their ability to function on multidisciplinary teams, ability to communicate effectively and having broad education to offer solutions for challenging issues of the society. Result also showed that those students who are not excited to participate and not confident to join with the group are most likely those with lower level of interest to join the community extension activities.

Teaching public health principles such as health promotion to healthcare professionals has gained attention in the last decade. The objective of this paper is to describe an innovative course that was developed in the Pharm.D programme in the Faculty of Pharmacy at the Université de Montréal with a focus on health promotion through community-based project learning. First, it describes the course which was structured in twelve learning units given in two semesters to first and second year students who were grouped in teams of eight to ten. Then, it describes the instructional and evaluation methods for the course, including the development of an application to perform two 360-degree assessments within each team. Finally, it gives an overview of the projects realised since the implementation of the course, as well as future development within the Pharm.D curriculum.

This article examines four discourses of volunteer/service work—charity, leisure, citizenship, and border crossing—in terms of how they construct relationships between those who serve and those who are served. Specifically, it analyzes the discourse of border crossing, which assumes White middle-class students crossing a border to work in underprivileged minority communities. Reanalyzing three case studies that show meaningful service work done without crossing borders, this article argues that the discourse reinforces the stereotype of those who serve and those served and privileges White middle-class people’s work while erasing others’. By arguing that all four discourses reproduce hierarchical relationships between those who serve and those served, this article also suggests a new discourse—of paying dues—that frames all of us as participating in systems that create unequal distribution of resources and thus as responsible for ameliorating these systems’ effects through volunteer/service work and ultimately stopping their reproduction.

Compost is a fertilizer that is produced from the decomposition of organic matter by active microorganisms. Jatimukti Village, Jatinangor Subdistrict, Sumedang Regency is a village that produces a lot of waste. Based on observations, the village looks suitable and has the potential to be introduced to the type of compost as organic material in farmers’ gardens. This service aims to foster and direct the people of Jatimukti Village community to have the skills to make compost from organic waste. Community service is carried out through socialization and training on composting. The demonstration of composting is done by using the composting facility that has been prepared. This is a research note about the On-Going Community Service Program

Out of the seemingly countless and ever-changing policies related to Covid-19 prescribed by the Indonesian government, I look into two particular policies that prompted me to delve into the “livelihood” of LPK Bahasa Korea [ ‘Korean Language Education Centers’), private language courses catering the need of prospective migrant-workers in learning Korean language prior to working in Korea.  First, the policy from Ministry of Education ordering all schools and universities in all regions not to open or conduct face-to-face classes until 2021 or until further notice. Second, the policy from Ministry of Manpower suspending all placement of migrant workers to recipient countries, including South Korea, until further notice.

On paper, the policies can be regarded as a good thing in the sense that the government has swiftly managed to take actions responding to the situation. On the other hand, I cannot but notice the difficulties experienced by the stakeholders aka owners of LPK in coping with such policies. I have suspected that not all LPK would heed the government’s order due to the fact that operating the LPK could be the only source of livelihood for some LPK owners. Not to mention the need of reliable internet access for the students scattered in different regions across the country.

Based on this, I started a community service project geared towards the LPK in need of assistance in managing the online classes---which for some LPK sound a bit far-reaching, if not probably out-of-reach.

amongst older people. However social diversity is rarely reported
in investigations of befriending services. The views of non-users
are also rarely explored. In this research, we explored older adults’
experiences of, and attitudes towards, a befriending service,
among service users and non-service users, drawing on interviews and focus groups with 76 older adults, 10 volunteer visitors,
and 20 service providers. Participants agreed that the befriending
service helped alleviate social isolation and loneliness and that
supportive services to foster connection are needed. Barriers to
engagement included lack of knowledge, appropriateness of
services and feeling undeserving. The befriending service was
most successful when a match went beyond a transactional ‘professional-client’ relationship to resemble genuine friendship,
underpinned by mutual interests and norms of reciprocity and
reliability. We also identified five clear ideas about what characterizes an ideal supportive service; supported opportunities for
getting out, genuine and reciprocal relationships, reliability, visitor characteristics, and connecting people to their culture.
Befriending adds to social networks, and enhances connectedness to the community. Loneliness is alleviated when mutually
beneficial and genuinely reciprocal relationships develop.
However, group interventions or connections to community
groups may be more appropriate for some.

This practical note discusses some of the challenges evaluators face when their values clash with those of their employer. A case example where the author was commissioned to complete an evaluation for a community development project within a welfare-minded NGO highlights evaluation issues for welfare-minded NGOs attempting to deliver community development programmes. A fundamental issue is the differing interpretation of key terms including evaluation, participation, and empowerment. The note discusses how the author attempted to navigate between maintaining community development principles in the evaluation process while at the same time fulfilling quantitative evaluation requirements mandated by the organisation and funders.

Abstrak Desa Kayubihi, Bangli merupakan Desa yang 17.75% masyarakatnya bekerja di industri kerajinan bambu [1]. Produk kerajinan bambu yang sudah dihasilkan berupa keben, bakul nasi, tas bambu, sokasi, dan anyaman serta kerajinan lain berbahan bambu. Kondisi yang terjadi pada pengrajin bambu Desa Kayubihi saat ini adalah mereka tidak memiliki identitas usaha yang dapat dijadikan sebagai ciri dari produk kerajinan bambu yang dihasilkan. Kondisi lainnya adalah kegiatan pemasaran produk masih bersifat konvensional, dimana produk dipajang di toko. Kondisi tersebut merupakan permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh pengrajin, yang membuat produk kerajinan bambu dari Desa Kayubihi belum dikenal oleh masyarakat secara luas. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian diawali dengan pengumpulan data, perumusan masalah dan solusi, pembuatan dan implementasi corporate identity serta diakhir memberikan pelatihan pengelolaan pemasaran online. Solusi dan hasil pengabdian ini adalah pengrajin bambu memiliki identitas usaha/ corporate identity berupa logo usaha yang diimplementasikan pada papan nama, kartu nama dan media pemasaran online berupa instagram for business dan facebook page. Hasil evaluasi kegiatan menunjukkan 100% kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat memuaskan. sebanyak 810 Ha, dan terdapat 1732 orang atau 30.49% masyarakat Desa Kayubihi bekerja sebagai petani/ pekebun. Salah satu hasil perkebunan di Desa Kayubihi adalah bambu, dan sebanyak 17.75% masyarakatnya bekerja di industri kerajinan bambu [1]. Produk kerajinan bambu yang sudah dihasilkan berupa keben, bakul nasi, capil, tas bambu, sokasi, dan anyaman lain berbahan bambu seperti pada Gambar 1 dan Gambar 2. Bahan baku berupa bambu cukup mudah diperoleh, dikarenakan hutan bambu ada disekitar Desa yang dikelola oleh kelompok usaha masyarakat. Kondisi yang terjadi pada pengrajin bambu Desa Kayubihi saat ini adalah mereka tidak memiliki identitas usaha yang dapat dijadikan sebagai ciri dari produk kerajinan bambu yang dihasilkan. A new generation of public services is emerging from the crisis of traditional welfare systems. The new services are based on the activation of citizens and stimulate their participation in the definition of their needs and new solutions. The new services also require a new approach to design that is based on the direct involvement of local communities. They are often developed through pilot initiatives, from which interesting cases of social innovation are emerging. The success of this approach however, depends on the possibility to scale-up such initiatives to a scale that would ensure the economic sustainability of the new services.
