Beautiful Brando
Well, we almost had a new brother pug in the household. Let me tell you the story of Brando.
Grandmama talked to a lady on the phone who needed to find a new home for her pug, Brando. Mama started e-mailing and calling some people to see if anyone wanted a one-year-old pug boy. No one could take him at the time. Mama didn't think she could take another pug in but when she showed daddy the picture of Brando, he said, "Go get him." It was love at first sight.
Mama talked to the lady and she said to come on over and she would have him and his things ready to go. Mama was so happy to go get him. We didn't know when mama left that she would be coming back with another one of us.
When mama got back with him, we scared him a little bit because we all ran up to him and wanted to smell him and look at him. He liked us right away. Aunt Sue was with mama to go pick him up. Well, Aunt Sue opened the back door to let us go in the yard and Brando ran jumped in the pool just like he knew what he was doing. Aunt Sue got him right out. I still don't know if he knew what he was doing or he just didn't see it and was running so fast, he just jumped right in. He didn't jump in the pool anymore after that.
Daddy had sent around an e-mail at his work and someone that has a one-year-old pug took one look at him and said she wanted him to live with her and her pug. This was a good thing because Brando wanted to play a lot and we are so old over here that we couldn't play like he wanted to and mama said he would be bored. So after four days, Brando the Beautiful went to his new mama and pug sister. I heard they get along great and have their own bedroom in the house.
Things are quiet again here in the house. Mama was glad that she helped the lady find a new home for Brando. I think mama and daddy really wanted to keep him but mama said us old pugs need to stay quiet and a puppy was to much.
Mama is always willing to help find a pug a home if anyone needs her help.
