Our household takes this personally; my husband is a Marine (and I will not say former, as there is no such thing). We take every service member death personally. So senseless. Disgust, anger and a whole bunch of emotions is/are hanging pretty high here in the Conley household. Today is no different. And you know what, I don't think the administration even cares one iota about any American citizen...there I said it. I better leave it at this.
Of course, they don't care. And neither do the people who voted for him, apparently. I'll also add that every President since Carter hasn't cared, except President Trump. I have nothing but disgust for the lot 'o 'em. There. I said THAT! I guarantee there will be more deaths thanks to these clueless wonders.
ReplyDeleteDelete that is you want. I trust you. I'm just hoppin' mad at my fellow citizens at the moment.
Blessings to you all. xx
why would I delete it? You speakth the truth. fist pump.
DeleteLove you all and agree with you and Sparky completely. We are utterly devastated and shocked at what we see unfolding in Afghanistan. Last night we watched our President Trump give a wonderful message and also shared his views on Hannity. I found myself praying and wishing that there was someway to bring him back NOW, but we have to leave these things in God's Hands. However I believe God is grieved over our current administration even more than we are. I do not believe those Marines will have died in vain. God always always has a better way. I will keep my eyes on HIM, and keep praying.
ReplyDeleteUnfort. I missed the Hannity show, I was in bed (had to be at work early this morning)--I will have to watch it on You tube later. Thank you Pamela...love you too. Yes, keep praying.
DeletePamela, we watched that too! And I could not help thinking how different everything would be if the election had not be stolen from him. I keep praying as I know God has a plan.
DeleteIt certainly is a nightmare and I hold the liar in chief responsible. God is the only One Who can get us out of this mess.
ReplyDeleteMy son who is in the Army reserves called me yesterday, pretty upset about it all. It's just frustrating and sad and horrible. Jocko pretty much summed it up.
ReplyDeleteAn avoidable tragedy which is the worst of it..
ReplyDeleteDitto to all that was said above. The Hannity interview was good. My husband served in Vietnam and we are very disgusted with this President. Can you imagine what is waiting in the wings?! Harris or Pelosi. What a mess. Praying for God to intervene.
ReplyDeleteHeartbroken and disgusted. Dear God, please purge this mental moron and his cabinet out of Washington.
ReplyDeleteLinda, hugs and love and thanks to your husband.
ReplyDeleteWe are mad and said in the Bruins household too. Our son was in the army and served in Afghanistan. The whole situation is beyod belief and I can't listen to amy more lies from Biden...
ReplyDeleteYes, terrible news and so unnecessary. You know and I know so no need to rehash it here. Prayers for the families.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you and feel the same pain. My husband served 20 years - all of our friends have served. I just read a blog from I believe it was in the UK and they said, the US has betrayed them as well.
ReplyDeleteOur allies will not trust us until this administration is gone.
I cried this morning reading of the precious lives lost, I mourn for their families and those like you and your husband. Our rino leaders are responsible for allowing this fraud to occupy the white house. I continue to pray and hope that this nightmare will end for all. You and your family will b in my prayers
ReplyDeleteSo very sad. My oldest daughter services as an officer in the U.S. Navy, so I do get the devastation felt by the families. My youngest, Josh, is thinking about going back into the military as well. Military commitments are truly family commitments. One of the young Marines who died grew up in Sandy, UT, just a few miles from where I live. He is the same age as my oldest son. I am grateful that there are brave souls willing to help the poor people of Afghanistan try to get out of their country, away from the Taliban to start a new life in a freer place. I believe that many things could have been handled much better. This exit from Afghanistan was doomed to failure from the start - when the last president let the Taliban leader out of prison. I am not sure at all why that happened. There is fault to bear on many sides. It is a very sad week. Prayers for the families dealing with tragedy and prayers for those left behind in Afghanistan.
ReplyDeleteI'm so angry and disgusted about all of it I can't even do a blog post right now (when I do, yours will be mild compared to what I might end up writing). My dad was a WWII vet... my step-son served four times in Iraq/Afganistan... and there are extended family members who have served numerous years. They did not fight to have this moronic administration throw it all away and endanger (kill) tens of thousands of people... and no, they do not care one bit about you, or me, or anyone else... only themselves. I have to keep my focus on God through this sorm. Blessings to you, Linda... and many thanks to yours, and everyone else's families, who have served. ❤️
ReplyDeleteI met a soldier from my day and age in the grocery store a few years ago. He served in Somlia "Black Hawk Down". He was the friendliest fellow. I said what do you think aobut the NFL NBA not respecting the flag. He said, personally, then I fought for absolutely nothing. I told him I agreed and we chatted a bit more. My father would tell me, God has this, He is the judge of all mankind. Many will get their due when judgement day comes. Meanwhile treason and a firing squad sounds about right for many in this country. I remember memorizing dozens of names from the OKC Bombing. People were so non chalant after it happened. Like it was suppose to be that way. I still pray for those families, I saw many of their faces as the trial was here in denver and that was back when I had to drive in to get my hubby so he could get me to work on time. I will never forget their faces. Now all the rah rah over 9-11. People forgot about it the day they elected Communisum to come to America. My sister lost half the boys in her graduating classmates in Vietnam. 9 out of 10 were USMC .
