Aunt Gracie Strips quilt top

This Aunt Gracie Strips quilt top was made from leftovers Loretta Brennan gave me when she was cleaning out her Aunt Gracie stash.  It will be quilted at Sew Many Blessings and donated to Allies for Youth Development.

Fidget Quilts

More fidget quilts!  I've been picking up items from Buy Nothing Keller like stuffed animals and using them for my fidget mats.  Hope someone enjoys fiddlin' with them!

Bluebonnets

On the way home from a nice visit with Leigh, Roy, Taska & Doug we stopped by Ennis to visit the Bluebonnet fields.  They did not disappoint but my pictures don't do them justice!  There was one field that was especially beautiful - blue with orange in the distance and a huge field of yellow beyond that.

More Dresses for Leigh

We have a trip to Leigh & Roy's house in Huntsville next week so I got busy this week making some dresses for her OCC boxes.

March Fidget Quilts

I've been busy this month making fidgets from found objects I've picked up on Buy Nothing Keller South.  Some of the stuffies had to be deconstructed to make them useable.

This fidget was made from a found placemat and half of an item donated to the guild booth.  It didn't sell - hard to know what to do with it.  I thought it was for keeping rolls warm on the table but it may have been intended to organize sewing notions by your machine.  At any rate, it's on its way to a new home.

January trip and quilts

We visited Leigh & Roy in their new home in Huntsville, TX.  Ron hung pictures and I helped empty boxes.  I brought more dresses for OCC.  Enjoyed lasagna with Kristen and Jay Hester.

This quilt was from a box block swap bee.  Donated to Quilting for Christ for Quilts of Valor.

Another quilt top donated to Quilting for Christ.  It may go to a veteran for Quilts of Valor.  Their choice!

A top for Gatehouse!

Four days at home because of an ice storm.  Hope it's the only one this winter!  Although I did get a lot of sewing done!

Fidget mats!
