I've been working on my quilt entry forms for the Trinity Valley Quilt show that's in September. That's one of my least favorite parts, right up there with making a label for the quilt. Anyhoo, I had to take pictures to attach so here's one of my entries. It is for the Log Cabin challenge category. The rules are that the quilt must contain at least one log cabin block and be at least 40 inches on every side. Mine has four log cabins and they are made of selvages! One of the borders is also made of selvages and the quilt measures exactly 40 inches x 40 inches. I'm calling this quilt Dogs Rule! It was a lot of fun to make - now I just need to do the icky parts - the rod pocket and label.

I'm lovin' this quilt! You are just going selvage crazy! I've got some that I'm saving for you - they are travelling all across the mid-west just to get back to you.
Jo Anne, your quilt is featured on the Selvage blog today. It looks so nice too. Great job!

I love this. I think it's my favorite selvage project that I've seen. I saw it first on the Selvage Blog.
