For Women Only: What You Need to Know About the Inner Lives of Men by Shaunti Feldhahn
My rating: 2 of 5 stars
Felt pretty common sense to me and I could have done without all the religion.

Review: Stephen Florida
Stephen Florida by Gabe Habash
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I didn't love this book as much as a lot of readers seem to. The protagonist was such an ass it was just kind of difficult. What carried it for me was the quality of the writing and the genuineness with which the story was conveyed.

Review: Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI
Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI by David Grann
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
This felt like it ended abruptly, mainly due to my Kindle saying I was 77% in, the rest was taken up with notes and credits. Interesting story. I feel really bad for the families that are still suffering from this mess.

Review: Everything is Perfect When You're a Liar
Everything is Perfect When You're a Liar by Kelly Oxford
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
Interesting format, memoir in a short story collection. Some of this was a little shocking, some was laugh out loud funny. I love that she called David Copperfield a wizard.

Review: City of Miracles
City of Miracles by Robert Jackson Bennett
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
I was a bit worried I wouldn't remember enough from the last two books to figure out where the story was going, but there was just enough recap to keep me straight. This is a very well thought out and imaginative trilogy. You can tell a lot of time was put into the history, even if it wasn't included in the tale outright. The only criticism I can offer is that it feels like dialogue gets sacrificed for action. And I have to be honest, I don't even know that that is a bad thing with these books. I guess only if you really like to read conversations. All in all, it's a fun and unique series and it is worth reading.

Review: A Court of Wings and Ruin
A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J. Maas
My rating: 2 of 5 stars
These books borrow a lot from other stories. There's a little Snow White in this one and the exodus tale from the Bible is very blatantly borrowed. And also Passover. And also The Iliad. The more I read this book the more annoyed I get at this scavenging.
I'm so happy I don't have to read this anymore. If I hadn't invested the time in the other two books, I would not have read this whole thing.
