Review: The Princess Diarist
The Princess Diarist by Carrie Fisher
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
Kind of interesting. Half the book was obsessing over Harrison Ford though.

Review: Return of the Continuums
Return of the Continuums by Jennifer Brody
My rating: 2 of 5 stars
Another awkward middle story. This one borrowed just a bit too much from Lord of the Rings for my taste. One of the characters was a very blatant Gollum rip-off. Just not as good as book 1. I hope book 3 brings it back around.

Review: Geekerella: A Fangirl Fairy Tale
Geekerella: A Fangirl Fairy Tale by Ashley Poston
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
Cute and sweet. It's nice when you have a story that is familiar enough to feel like home but with new twists to keep it relevant and still told well enough that it doesn't make you feel like something from your childhood has been ruined.

Review: Waking Gods
Waking Gods by Sylvain Neuvel
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
Good book but it has the awkward middle bookness. The new and exciting stuff was revealed in the last book and the resolution is yet to come. I really do love following on the journey though.

Review: The Inkblots: Hermann Rorschach, His Iconic Test, and the Power of Seeing
The Inkblots: Hermann Rorschach, His Iconic Test, and the Power of Seeing by Damion Searls
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
Very interesting book. As this is the first real biography of the man, I can say I didn't know much about him before reading this. The first half of the book was mainly the story of the man Rorschach himself. The second half, which takes off after his early death, is the story of the evolution of the test. Where it went after he died, its progress, its recession, its evolutions.... Quite interesting all around and not so intellectual that you have to have a working knowledge of psychology to understand any of it.

Review: Gilded Cage
Gilded Cage by Vic James
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
Interesting idea. Slightly different take on the dystopia genre. As it's the first book in a series, there is no resolution to this particular book so it's hard to judge it as a whole. I would like to read more and see where it goes.

I can't disagree with the argument made, I just really didn't like the author's style.
I received I free copy of this book from Goodreads giveaways.
