CES DT Card & Challenges...

**This is my second post today, please scroll done to see my altered notebook**

Another saturday challenge for you and this week over at the CES Challenge Blog we have the lovely theme of "Flowers and Flutterbys". The rest of the DT have made the most beautiful cards and here is mine. I have used a gorgeous stamp from Belles & Whistles, (sorry don't know what she's called), masked her then stamped over with Kadoodles "My Flower Garden". Coloured with Inkadinks, Distress Ink refills & Copic Markers adding Stickles to the flowers and grass. Papers are Prima Jack & Jill. Sentiment, Wild Rose Studio & Prima Pearls. All available from Crafty Emma's Store.  Have used X Cut & MS Punches and the added Butterfly is a Marianne Die. This is purple and green but the paper colours are not quite true in the piccie. Its so much prettier IRL.
Would be great if you could join in with us this week. We love looking at your creations and have to say there are so many of them. Although we cant get to you all, we appreciate you taking the time to participate in the CES Challenge.

Stampin For The Weekend DT Card

Firstly I just want to apologise to all my DT's and blogging buddies for being so quiet over last the few weeks. There has been alot going on to the run up of the kids going back to school and viewings on our house has kept me busy. Daniel started his new school yesterday and is now Boarding at a Special Needs school in Margate. Last night was the first night without him and it was very strange not having here. He'll be home for the weekend but doing his first full week next week will be the big test, I miss him loads already. On a positive note, he seems to be settling in well and life seems to be getting back on track so more time for crafting and keeping ontop of all your lovely blogs and DT's.
Anyway, heres my card for this weeks Stampin For The Weekend. This weeks theme is Teal, Pink and Orange. I've tried something a bit different, been seening quite a few cards call Scraplings. Basically using up any card scraps. Mine measures 2 1/2 x 4.25 inches. (sorry about the poor piccie). I have used a stamp from Kadoodle and coloured with Copics. The tree is SU and coloured with Green Smooch. This weeks sponsors are The Craft Barn and they are offering a £15 voucher, and we welcome Carlie & Lorraine as our guest designers. Do check out what stunning creations the rest of the DT have made.
BTW, we had an offer on our house yesterday so I'm going to be spending the next few days looks at property. Fingers crossed all goes well with the sale. So normal services will resume as of next week. Will be nice to get back to some normality and how I relish the peace and quiet!!!
Take Care and TFL!!

Lili Of The Valley - DT card - Sketch

Good morning everyone, and what a lovely sunny day it is again here in Kent. This is my card for this weeks LOTV Challenge and what a wonderful sketch it is to work with.

I have used "Dolly" from Kadoodle and coloured her with Prisma Pencils. The papers are K & Co and I used my nesties. The pink die, I covered with lots of dots with Liquid Pearls. Lots of punches and flowers for this one, wanted that summery feel and the butterfly which is an MS punch, has been sprayed with Glimmer Mist but the photo hasn't picked up the shimmer which is a shame. Thoroughly enjoyed making this card. I was a bit of a last minute but made it in time. I've had one hectic week, dont know where the time has gone so am off for a bit of retail therapy today, just what I need to recharge my batteries LOL. So will be catching up with blog hopping tonight I hope and will be stopping by to see what lovely creations you have come up with for this weeks LOTV challenge. I hope you can find time play and do go see what other gorgeous creations the rest of the DT have come up with.

This card also fits in with this weeks challenges at Spoonful of sugar and Everybody Art, which both have summer themes for this week.
Have a wonderful day

LOTV GDT Card

This is my 2nd GDT card for Lili of the Valley and this weeks theme is Blue/Green/Pink. I loved putting this card together, just love all the extra's I've added and the flower (top right) is handmade using SU punches and Tims Distress Tool. The stamp is another new one from Kadoodle, coloured with copics and Sakura pens. Lots of different punches and flowers used to, wanted to add a real summery feel to the card.

Do drop by and take a look at what the other DT members have done, great pieces. My picture on the challenge blog is a bit dodgy for some reason but I hope you like what you've seen here.
Happy Crafting and Have a lovely day

ICS DT Call

Just come across a DT Call for Inspirational sketches and just had to enter. I love all the DT's I'm on and get such a buzz from working with the themes, but my one dream would be for me to be on a sketch DT. I love working with sketches. Its amazing how a few shapes can transpire into such beautiful cards. And know matter how detailed or not they may be, am always happy with the way my final pieces turn out.

So this is my card I am entering which was to follow a sketch. The image is Kadoodle, coloured with Copics and Prisma's. Did I mention how I love combining the two! Papers are from Ally Pally, they are My Minds Eye and I think are totally scrummy. Flowers are Prima. Sentiment also Ally Pally, Stampotique. I stamped onto matching paper and distressed the edge with a pair of scissors and went around edge with a fluid chalk ink pad. Used a Stipple brush around the edge of image as I felt it was a little too white so used a pink and green ink to blend. Martha Stewart punch and you see the stitched edge. Its a rub-on roller tape from Daisy D's. Another Ally Pally purchase but I must browse the web for more, they are beautiful.
Anyway hope you like my card and I hope Dawn likes it to. Will be back with my Secret Crafter Piece tomorrow. In the mean time, Happy Crafting to you all!
