LOTV DT Card & Challenges!

Happy Thursday everyone, we've gone all "Spring like" over at this weeks LOTV Challenge and I tried to incorporate a slight vintage feel to this weeks card. Yep, we'd like to see your "SPRING" cards this week!

I have used "Spring Bunny with Daffodils" and coloured with Copics then spritzed the background with Gold Glimmer Mist. The papers are BG Recess and Prima Sweet Fairy. I've randomly used my TH Butterfly stamp on the background. LOTV has been mounted into a Shapabilitie Frame with a Punched Border behind. Flowers are Wild Orchid, Punched Butterfly - EK Success, Viva Pearl Pen and lots of Stickles. Ticket (sorry don't know) and a touch of lace.

Mothers Day Card!

This is one of the Mothers Day Cards I have made. yes mum, I know you read my blog, but I don't know who's having what yet so will leave you guessing!!

I have used this sweet stamp from Belles & Whistles and coloured her with Copics & Prisma Pencils, then masked and used my favourite Kadoodle "My Flower Garden" stamp colouring with Copics and a White Souffle Pen. The paper is MME and Green Bazzil. Corner punch is X Cut and Letters from stash. Mustn't forget the gorgeous Martha Stewart Border Punch and Butterfly Punch & Green Pearls that I got from the Make It Show the other week.

Sweet Stampin DT Challenge (2nd card today)

Me again, back again with my 2nd card of the day. This is my DT card for this weeks Sweet Stampin Challenge and we would like to see "Weather" related cards. I've gone with a warm spring day as I really wanted to ink this stamp up. Its from Cuddly Buddly and called Quackers. Coloured with Copics and Prismacolour Pencils, The sentiment is LOTV, punched with my SU Scallop punch.

CES DT & Challenges!

Morning everyone, today we see a new challenge over at the CES Challenge Blog and its my turn to set the theme. I know we all love our Die Cut Machines so this weeks theme is

"Die Cut Crazy".

My stamp is from Sugar Nellie. I've had him for ages but never inked him till now (that also goes for the other handfuls still in there wrapper). Coloured with Aquamarkers on Watercolour Paper. The backing paper is from the new Websters Pages available at Crafty Emma's Store along with the T/H Tickets, Button, Ribbon and 6 x 6 Cardstock. Emma is also offering a 10% discount to all customers till 8am on Monday 28th March,

I have used my Nesties to cut the image and the leaves where cut on my MM Slice.

CES Challenge DT Card & other challenges...

Hello everyone, back again today with a new card for this weeks CES Challenge Blog. This weeks theme is :: and I think this image is just perfect. She's called Carmen Electrifing from Kenny K. She's a digi download and the first chance I've had to colour her. All I can say is wish I had a body like that!!! The backing paper is a bit of scrap. I think its MME. I found so many bits when having my sort out and put them all into a draw, so thought I'd put them to good use. I have way too much unused stashed but I try and avoid cutting into papers I like, how sad is that LOL. My teams have some wonderful samples and we would love it if you joined in with this weeks challenge. Think were all afraid of mens cards but this one was alotta fun. She's been coloured with Copics and Promarkers and backed onto a 6 x 6 card, both available from Crafty Emma's Store, where you will also find new stock and a great service. I chose to keep it simple and as I'm not sure what this card is going to be used for, I've decided I'll add a sentiment at a later date.

Had a last minute dentist appointment Friday as was in alot of pain. Am now on a course of antibiotics then back again in a week or so for an extraction. Computer still being a pain but I'm still smiling and looking forward to hopefully a quiet weekend.

My Craft Area with new unit

Just a quickie before the school run. Here are some photo's of my craft space. The 60 draw unit on the left of the photo above is my new purchase and I Love It.

Took me 7 hours to put up myself (I don't do flat packs) but its standing and is such a great space saver.

These are a few other shots of my craft area. I have one side of the integral garage and although a lot of my stash is still in my dining room, this is the area I have been concentrating on.

I have been quite ruthless and got rid of a lot of stash, some going back years (including kanban) - eek.

Could have put some on E bay but I donated it to my daughters Junior School and I know there will be more to follow.

I love my new unit and it now homes my BigShot and MM Slice

Not enough hours in the day, I've still got a DT card to get done for tonight but am off to see my Grandad after school. My nan is still in hospital after 3 weeks and it looks like she will end up in a home in the near future.

Must dash, will try and catch up with some blogs tonight, I'm so behind!!

CES DT Card & Challenges...

The first saturday of March and a touch of spring in the air I think. Today we have new challenge for you over at the CES Challenge Blog. This week our theme is " St Patricks/Good Luck".

I've gone with the green colours and a Good Luck Card. I just adore this sweet Mo Manning Digi Image called "I Love It."I've been looking at it for ages and gave in. He's sooo cute!! Coloured with a mix of Copics, Promarkers and Derwent Coloursoft Pencils. The papers are 7 Gypsey & MME, scraps from my draw and have used one of the new MS Border Punches I got at the Make It Show. Cant remember the name of it now. I've used Bazzil to back and Pearls & Card Candy which are available at Crafty Emma's Store. ANd have you noticed, No Flowers - eek!!!  The sentiment I done on my computer.

Theres lots of new additions in store so go take a look and see if anything grabs you.

I've a busy weekend by the looks of it. A few packages will hopefully arrive today, although I was expecting them yesterday so hubby wouldn't see them and my 60 Draw Storage Unit from Crafts 4 Storage should be here today as well. Out of all the days of the week they had to go and choose today. He doesn't know yet and I don't think I can sneak that in seeings as he's gonna have to put it together. So looks like next week I'm in my craftroom having a major sort out. Its years overdue and I hate to think just how much unused stash I have. Gonna be ruthless though as some goes back years.
