Funky Fairy Challenge/Aunty's Team Challenge

This has to be my favourite piece so far, I've never altered a clipboard before and am thrilled with the results! Even took it into my garden to taken a photo. This fits 2 challenges this week, the first is at Funky Fairy which is Paper piecing and the 2nd is a team challenge over at Aunty's Forum. I painted the clipboard with Acrylic paint and covered with paper from DCWV everyday stack. I used a Tilda which was paper pieced and coloured her wings and boots with copics. The house was stamped directly onto paper and embossed and then coloured with Souffle pens and permanent markers. The tree was paper pieced and the rug stamped directly onto patterned paper. The birds were coloured with copics. I've added 2 riibons and 2 bttons to fit in with Aunty's challenge. Remember to click on the piccie for a closer view.

New Challenge

Hels who hosts the Sunday Stamper has a new midweek challenge that can be found here. This week is to use a template with the theme of buttons which must be hidden on the inside. This is my attempt and have to say I thoroughly enjoyed making it and am really pleased with the outcome. I used stamps from paper artsy and papers from Baisc Grey and DaisyD's. I edged with Tims Distress Ink Pads and used a piece of chipboard on the front that I coloured with Adirondaak Dabbers in Aqua and Gold. Will be making more of these in the future.

Diamond Pop Up Card

Haven't blogged for a few days as I lost my internet connection over the weekend but its all sorted now hopefully. This is a card I made the other week but forgot to blog. I have stamped and coloured the image with copics and used sakura pens to colour the butterfly and corner stamp. Need to get back into craft mode as mojo gone walkies again but I'm sure once I get started on something my creativity will start to flow again. Weathers been lovely and warm over the last few days but I think its one the turn, typical British Summertime, have a good week!

"I Know Everything" ATC

I do like the humourous stamps that are available and found this stamp while rumaging through my stash. I coloured with copic markers and added a rub on as I felt that it looked a bit blank. Never done a funny ATC before and hope whoever receives it in the end will like it!!

Fairy ATC's

Made these for a team challenge over at Auntys Forum the theme last month was silhouette and I do like this stamp. Used basic grey paper, coloured the leaves with sakura and used a white galaxy marker to highight certain area's. Feeling crafty today so hoping to work on another project.
Totally off subject now, my son has Aspbergers Syndrome which is on the Autistic Spectrum, we are at the moment battling with the LEA over his schooling. In less than a year after his diagnosis we have managed to win our appeal and Daniel has now be statemented although we are still ironing out the details as we're not happy with the offer and want him to attend a special needs school just for AS children, cut a long story short, Daniel is attending a school today in Hampshire, its about 4 hours from us and if the LEA decide to pay his fee's (which they wont and another Tribunal to attend) he will have to board. Even better, Daniel and his dad left yesterday and camped in the New Forest overnight as Daniel has an early start, so my stash is all over the place at the moment and I can play all day if I want!!!!
