LOTV DT Card & Challenges

Hello everyone, its thursday again and another new challenge over at the LOTV Challenge Blog. Bev has a fantastic sketch and I'm sure to use this one again.

For my card, I have used James Bear and coloured with Aquamarkers on Hp Watercolour Paper. The papers are BG Jovial and the sentiment is Cats Life Press available from Crafty Emma's Store. The snowflake punch is gorgeous, ono of my many purchases at Ally Pally and Rafia Lace, Stickles & Gold Viva Pearl Pen to finish.

And do I love the Aquamarkers??

YES.

I have distress ink pads and refills and these work in the same way. Put some colour onto an acrylic block and with a slightly damp brush pick up the colour & apply. I'm sure I need more practice but am so enjoying the Aquamarkers and think I'll try mixing the distress inks/inkadinks so I have more colours to play with.

CES DT Card - Challenge 5

Wow, the weeks are flying by. Getting dark earlier and before you know it, it'll be christmas!

The supermarkets now have all the christmas bits on the shelf and tubs of choccies on special as per usual. I've already lost 16lbs over the last few months so wont be tempted!

This weeks challenge at the CES Challenge Blog has been set by the lovely Amy and she has chosen "Animal Antics". I've had this stamp for ages but never got it out of its wrapper till recently. Its called "Bear & Robin" by Gillian Roberts - Stampavie. I've colours with distress inks and added Stickles. The papers are Basic Grey Pyrus and a lovely doily which I have spirited with Gold Glimmer Mist. Used the Gold Viva Pearl Pen, Rafia Lace and an old wood mounted rubber stamp that I found amongst my never ending pile of stash.

LOTV DT Card & Challenges

Hello everyone, another thursday and the nights are beginning to draw in so with Christmas not to far on the horizon this weeks challenge at the LOTV Challenge Blog is "Untraditional Christmas". I have gone with the colours and have used BG Indian Summer Papers adding Lilac. Cooured with Promarkers and H20's. Have used MS Gingerbread border punch, Catslife Press Stamp, various leaf punches, a mix of flowers and lots of stickles. The shimmer from the H20's doesn't really show in the photo but the envelope he's holding has lots on.

This weeks prize is a £10 voucher to be spent in the LOTV Shop and with so many gorgeous stamps you wont be stuck for choice.

CES DT Card - Challenge 4 "Baby Bonanza" + Challenges

Week 4 over at the CES Challenge Blog, where does the time go? This week we have another great challenge Baby Bonanza. This is a digi image from Digi Doodle, Isn't she just the sweetest. I've coloured her with Copic Markers. The papers are Prima Annalee which are available at the CES Store along with the TH Ticket & Pins. Emma's also added new stock including Websters & Basic Grey and has an offer on Promarkers for a short time. You can go direct to her shop HERE. The stamps on this card are Tim Holtz & Paperartsy. Everything else from my stash and as you can see, lots of stickles.

"Diva" Altered Notebook

Thought I'd make something different from a card and have being wanting to colouring this fabulous Mo Manning "Diva' Digi Image. She's been coloured with Promarkers and have done her scarf with Ultra Fine FlowerSoft. The papers are BG Obscure and have used the TH Brackets Die. The large leaves made from the Woodware Embossed Punch and have added Copper Gimmer Mist and a Copper Ink Pad to distress. Other Bits from stash.

CES DT Card - Christmas Easel Card + Challenges.

Today is a new challenge over the CES Challenge Blog, cant believe we are on week 3 already. Thankyou to all who have taken part. It has been a great success so far. This weeks its team "B" and the theme is "Christmas Easel Cards". For mine I have used the MME Holly Jolly Papers available from Emma's Craft Store, along with the Poinsietta's & Pearl Bead Spray. The image is LOTV which has been coloured with Distress Ink Refills and Glimmer Sprayed with Pearl and Red. Unfortunately the red wasn't spraying too well, so I used a needle to try and clear this but it well, shot out hence the heavier coverage than I would have liked. My hand was dripping in it and it really looked like I'd cut myself but I don't think it looks too bad. Cut with Nesties and have added a Swirl from a Marianne Die. The text is rubber stamped.

And other news, non craft related. Our house sale fell threw on exchange last month so looks like we are staying put. So instead we have booked up to go back to Mauritius again for 2 weeks at Christmas, then me and hubby are off to Las Vegas for 5 nights in January and best of all we've just ordered me a new car. I have the Lexus RX400 which is now 3 yrs old so have the New Lexus RX450 SEL on order and should be ready in the next couple of weeks. I love my Lexus and this new one is even better so cant wait (Big SMILIE)!!!!!

LOTV DT Card - One For The Boys & Challenges!

Not my usual style of card, but this weeks theme over the LOTV Challenge Blog is "One For The Boys" so I thought I'd try a different approach and keep it clean and simple. Normally my cards are covered in backing papers and flowers so this was a challenge to myself.

The image is called "Collecting the Tree" and has been coloured with Copics. The Christmas Tree's are a BG stamp which has been masked and stamped over using Chalk Ink Pads. Sentiment is Autumn Leaves and the snowflakes are a Marianne Die. Practically everything on this card has been stickled in various colours. Love crimbo cards with a bit of sparkle and considering theres no flowers or papers I quite like how it turned out.

Anyway, do go take a look at what the other fantastic cards my DT buddies have to show you to, all gorgeous as always. This week the prize is a £10 Voucher to spend in the LOTV Shop.

"Flower Girl" Bookmark

This is such a sweet digi image from Sassy Cheryl's Store. I have coloured her with Promarkers for a change, cut out with Nesties and chalked while still inside the die. The papers are Magnolia and flowers are a mix from stash. the punched leaves and butterfly had been dabbed with an Adirondaak Silver paint dabber as have all the edges on this bookmark. Once finished I spritzed with a Pearl Gimmer Mist which has slightly muted the whole thing but I actually like it!
