LOTV DT Card & Challenges

Today the LOTV Challenge have a new challenge and we would like to see "Summertime". You can interpret this anyway you like. I chose to colour Thomas with Flowers from LOTV and added a Spica Pen for a little sparkle.

The papers are My Minds Eye "Ooh La La" and have distressed and coloured the edges on all the papers. I've used the gorgeous MS Punch and a mix of flowers from my stash. There is a fabulous sketch over at the Stamp With Fun Challenge Blog and I just couldnt resist. Think I'll be using this one again soon.

I've a busy day ahead. My 40th Birthday tomorrow. Had my nails done yesterday and off to get my hair highlighted today. In the meanwhile, below is a list of other challenges my card fits into;

Tilda Multi Challenge Card

Finally a card. I'm struggling to find the time atm. Maybe because the weather is on the change I'm busy in the garden or doing other things but will be crafting when I can, couldnt give up my favourite past-time.

I just love the way my card has turned out. Magnolia's are always beautiful stamps to use and with the matching papers it really completes it I think. Tilda has been coloured with Copics and have glazed her basket, adding stickles to the flowers in her basket. The flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts and other bits and bobs from stash.

I made this card taking this weeks sketch from Friday Sketcher, but as usual it fits into a few other challenges as well.

Muti Challenge Card

Another gorgeous day here in Kent. School uniforms to get sorted for their return tomorrow and a pile of laundry awaiting. But 1st I wanted to post this card I made late last night. I took the Sketch from The Fussy & Fancy Challenge and used the colour combo from this weeks WOJ Challenge. I havent entered this challenge for a very long time and couldnt believe I have a draw full of uninked WOJ Stamps.

This one is from the Spring 2008 Collection. She' been coloured with Copics but dont know where the papers are from, they are scraps from a previous card.

I know this is alot of challenges but I only really base my card on one or two, anymore is just luck!

LOTV DT Card & Challenges

How time flies. 2 weeks have gone and today Bev has come up with have a lovely sketch for you at the LOTV Challenge Blog. I dont usually go with these colours but bought a new Papermania Pad and although I dont use them much, I love gingham papers.

My LOTV image has been coloured with Copic Markers and cut out with Nesties. The Flowers and lace are from my stash and I've added lots of stickles to both the flowers and the flowers on the image. The leaves and butterfly are both punched.

Got a bit happy with the camera. It was so nice outside I took my card into the garden in the end.

Its so nice to be back crafting and I'm blog hopping when I can.

My hubby has taken today and tomorrow off to spend time with us all before they go back to school next week. I'm sure we will venture out somewhere. Poor Jessica went back on Monday and is sitting her Textiles exam over the next 2 days. Shes such a wonderful artist. I'll have to post some of her work here one day. Doesn't get it from her mum, thats for sure. I dont go beyond stick men.

Penny Black Stamp and Other Challenges

Hooray, I finally found the time to make a card and forgot how much I love my crafting.

I just adore this Penny Black Slapstick Stamp called "for goodness sake". She looks so innocent.

I have coloured with Copics on Canson Art Board and just love the ways the pens blend on this. The papers are a mix of Basic Grey and various Punches, Stickles & Liquid Pearls used along with other bits from stash.

I took the sketch from this weeks Spoonful of Sugar Challenge, its a fab sketch and may use it again.

LOTV DT Card

Oops, I thought I had this preposted, but it was still in drafts. I decided to pamper myself seeings as the kids are off for 2 weeks. First stop the Nail Salon followed by a Cut and Blow Dry at the Hairdressers. My idea of heaven.

Notice I just had to use this Sizzix die again. I love these cute LOTV stamps and seeings we have a new challenge for you at the LOTV Challenge Blog, thought I'd be cheeky and use him again.

This week we have a recipe for you. Blue, silver + 1 colour. I've added Gold Liquid Pearls to mine. Again coloured with Copics and papers from Basic Grey. Pretty much the same as my last card, just different colours.

I do hope you can join us at LOTV Challenge Blog. The rest of the DT have come up trumps again and these stamps seem to be going from strength to strength. More new releases next month so will try and make a few sneak peaks.

Now back to reality and chores to be done. Trying to catch up with all the blogs and am sure to be hopping again tonight.
