Bonding Time with Mom

By: Marie Fe A. Reginio
It was Saturday morning when I helped my mom make
pancakes. We carefully mixed the ingredients such as flour,
baking powder, eggs, sugar and milk in a mixing bowl. Then, I
slowly poured water in it. Next, mom quickly greased the hot
frying pan with butter and patiently made the pancakes for me.
I eagerly waited for my next job, which
was to gently sprinkle sugar on top, but I accidentally put too
much. I quietly and honestly told my mom my mistake and
luckily, she did not get mad at me. We enjoyed eating together.
That was a great bonding time with my mom.
