purpose for the Say: Read the following final consonant blend:
lesson Model how the words should be read. Spell it. Point to the letters as you do so.
What are the final consonant blend in the first column, second column and third column.
What is the sound? Read the word again.
The consonant blends that I read are the l- blend, s- blends and r- blends
When we say blends these are consonants whose sounds blends together
In other words each letter within the blend is pronounced individually, but quickly, so they
blend together.
D.GUIDED PRACTICE Say: Let us read the following sentence with words that begin with the l- s- and r- blends.
1.The new bag of Roy is blue.
2. We don’t have a clue in answering the puzzle.
3. My friends and I play all day because theres no classes.
4. My father drive slowly in the rough road.
