DIGITAL LITERACY
According to UNESCO, DIGITAL LITERACY is the
ability to access, manage, understand, integrate,
communicate, evaluate and create information safely
and appropriately through digital technologies for
employment, decent jobs, and entrepreneurship.
DIGITAL LITERACY
• Digital Responsibility- knowing how to stay safe and act appropriately online.
• Digital Productivity – knowing which technologies, tools and techniques to use
and how to organise, share and protect digital information.
• Digital Information Literacy- being able to find, critically evaluate and use
digital information safely.
• Digital Collaboration- sharing knowledge and collaborating with others to
complete tasks and solve problems.
• Digital Creativity- Being able to use digital media to complete tasks, generate
content and develop opportunities.

Performance Task #1
• Pub Mat on promoting ICT-related skills
• Create a group of 3-4 members, and create a publication material that
contains your advocacy on how to promote ICT-related skills.
• Post it on Facebook with a caption of not more than five (5) sentences.
• Submit the pub mat and the screenshot of the post in the designated
folder in MS Teams.

- Content – 50 points
-Creativity – 30 points
-Grammar/Organization/Mechanics – 10 points
-Promptness – 5 points
