Good Morning all,
Well here we are with yet another Thursday upon us! I can't believe how fast the weeks go by.
The best thing about Thursdays is the start of a new challenge at Mo's Digital and this week it's "Fantasy"
Well I had no problems choosing and colouring this sweet image. Its Winter fairy Halla go take a peek :o))
I coloured this sweetie with Promarkers and added Stickles for all the sparkly bits. Papers are LOTV frosty Christmas and the snowflakes i just stamped onto Blue cardstock and heat embossed with Crystal embossing powder.
The sentiment I did on the PC in word.
Not sure my camera has done justice to the colour and the sparkle on the card as tonight it sparkles like diamonds in the light ...maybe I should have took pics tonight instead...lol
Well thats all and hope you will pop over to Mo's and join in the challenge. Hope you have time to leave the team some love whilst you peek at their beautiful creations, I know you will be inspired to play along.
Mo will give $5 credit to the winner chosen by Random.Org
remember you must use a Mo's image :)
Scheduled this as we are having a very long day at hospital today with my sister whilst she has camera tests :o(
But will catch you later hopefully xxxxx
Hi Everyone, hope everyone escaped storm damage yesterday. We missed it all, in fact it was a reasonable day here considering.
We had more wind the day before, but nothing to keep us in. Sending Huge hugs and love to anyone that was effected. xxxxxxxx
Well I made this card to try and make a start on some Christmas cards, It is very out of place today as the Sun is shining and its almost like a Spring day.
The papers are LOTV and the image is a Mary Engelbreit stamp (all Night Media) that Pops sent me two years ago and I love it! I can see it being well used again this year.
The Poinsettia is made from a Marianne Die with gems from stash.
well thats all from me today as off to do the weekly shop :o(
Catch up later today xxx
Its me again,

Didn't seem to want to photograph very well, but after several attempts this was the best.
Oh! how I wish I had one call on me now and again, this week I have been busy taking curtains down and washing paintwork and you name it I have done it. Why does one job lead into so many others! Oh for a fairy!!!!!
Catch up soon..no more heavy housework for me today :o)
Good Morning everyone xx
Hope everyone is well uand staying warm.
I can't believe its Thursday yet again, doesn't time fly when you are having fun.
Today over at Mo's digital pencil we have a super new challenge for you. Hosting is our sweet sister Cathy and she wants to see your lovely Vintage creations.
Now I am not sure that I have ever done a Vintage card before so this was a challenge and a half for me..yikes!
I hope my card will pass the test, or I may get my hands slapped :~0 must admit I wasn't sure myself if it was vintagy..lol. The inside looks ok as I printed "little drummer boy" sheet music and distressed/aged it and that added some vintage look to it......
....I know what you are thinking! "where is it???...... yes I forgot to take a picture of it open, so will do that asap and add it when I get back. I photographed it very late last night (this morning) tut! my bedtimes get later, I won't be going to bed at all soon.
I spotted this lovely card tutorial at Beccy's place and just had to have a go, Thank you Beccy.
The papers are LOTV,the image is Mo's "Shall I play for you"
I loved colouring him with promarkers and I paper pieced his scarf and the patch on his hat.
Hope you like it, If you have time please pop over to Mo's and see what my sisters have come up with for you, you won't be disappointed.
Well off to take my friend home today as she has been staying with her niece nearby, I wish I had a spare room to put her up :o( instead we bring her and take her home and entertain her as her niece is at work, we sort of share her...lol
I hope the weather holds as its an 80mile round trip and when we brought her on Monday it was fog and wind and rain the whole way across the moors, not a good day to be driving over Moorland.
Catch you all this evening
Thank you so much for taking the time to call and leave your comments, I love reading each and every one.xxxxx
Good Morning everyone,
Well what a great way to start my time at Mo's, I am so excited. I think Tracy our wonderful host must have known that I love sweet things. I am in withdrawal at present though as I am trying to lose those unwanted pounds which I guess will all go back on at Christmas, and no doubt a few extra ones to boot. You could just say I am making room for the inevitable to happen.
I chose "Whats Cookin" and what a sweetie she is, you can find her here along with some great new images.
This is what I came up with for this challenge..
I paper pieced her dress and apron and cut the bowl, scales and mitts from matching papers and mounted them onto pads.
I kept the sentiment very simple on the inside.
The papers were Cupcake Boutique, and the lace and ribbon from my overloaded stash :o
I hoped it wasn't overdone, but had great fun making it.
Please call and see what the teamies have created for you, and leave them some love if you have a little time to spare.
We had planned on taking my sister out for the day, It would have been her Ruby wedding anniversary today and I know she will be feeling sad...she will expect that I had forgotten.
I told her I would take her to the shops for a few things she needs. Actually we had a lovely surprise day planned instead, and a bouquet of flowers for her.....Well she phoned last night and pulled out as she had someone coming that she really didn't want to cancel, she said"her shopping could wait.
oh! well the best laid plans and all that!! Why are surprises so hard to carry out...grrr!!!!
Catch you later xxxx
Hi folks, what a beautiful morning we have here, the sun is shining and just a slight breeze to keep the hot flushes at bay..... :~o
First I want to say Hi to Renne, its lovely to have you following my blog Renne, please leave a comment so that I can visit you as I can't seem to find you! if anyone knows Renne will you point me in the right direction please.
Had a fab day on Saturday at Harrowgate, Spent far to much as always but had a great time. I can't believe I have had no time even to open my goodies yet, yesterday I was so tired I had a real chill day. I can't believe it was just our Harrowgate jaunt, I think its been an accumulation of the past month activities that have caught up with me.
We did manage a short walk though and then had a nice quiet telly night with a glass of the red stuff :0)
Enough waffle now to my card, a CAS one, I spent most of the time making the leaves than actually putting the card together. I stamped the leaves out (Personal impressions) and heat embossed them and then used Micro powders to colour them with. I am not a huge fan of using Micra powder, I love the finish but never happy about the safety issues regardless of what they say, so mine will last me for the rest of my crafting life...lol
My card today is for ATCAS "autumn/fall Challenge which Sylvia has chosen, I just love Autumn so couldn't miss this challenge.
Be back after lunch to catch up with your news and creations.
xxxxxxx
Btw still got a couple of Di-Lites for sale on items for sale tab if anyone is interested.
