Before I get to my card,First can I say welcome to my two new followers Sue and Sally xx I am thrilled to have you on board and hope you enjoy your visits and find some small inspiration along the way.
Secondly A huge thank you to all my followers for all your lovely comments and good wishes for my sister, you are simply the best xx Hopefully Wednesday will get some answers and help for her.
Well even though things continue to be difficult here, I had an hour last night doing a little blog hopping and maybe I will get some time tonight too. I made this card last night to enter the ATCAS ..code..Glitter challenge. I am so glad I have took a real interest in CAS cards as its about all I can cope with at present, Time and Mojo are so thin on the ground.
I think anything too taxing could finish me off ...lol I wasn't too thrilled with this but Hey! I at least got started again.
I stamped the flourish three times as its only a small Clarity flourish and triple embossed it with Copper powder, I added the little gems and some glitter to the butterflies and bobs your uncle :))..oh! and the sentiment is an old wooden stamp that I removed from the wood so now don't know what make it was :0 The card actually is so much more sparkly than the photo shows.
Well will try and make some more calls later tonight,

Hi everyone,
So sorry I have not been around to visit or post :(
Life has been hectic and no time to play, especially this week.
I have a very poorly sister at present and as she is on her own, we are busy caring for her. She has another hospital app. on Aug 1st and hopefully she will get some answers and relief from her dreadful pain. I am not looking forward to the answers at all but we will wait and cope with whatever as always. She is on Morphine as well as 4 other pain relief meds all running alongside each other so hopefully we will manage till 1st Aug.
Anyway Sorry for neglecting my blog visits but I will try and do some catching up as I get a few minutes here and there. I got to sit and make a couple of cards last night so that was wonderful as my mojo had took a walkabout :~ whats the old saying.... "If you don't use it you lose it"....lol I think it got sick of waiting for me so took a hike.
Anyway my card is for ATCAS #17 Water Challenge. The talented Loll chose the theme and the DT cards are wonderful.
I thought I would add a little watercolour this little picture of Venice. Sadly the ink didn't like the paint so it kept smudging which was a pain. I did make another card for this challenge last night so I may try and post it after lunch sometime. I am rather rubbish at CAS but I have to admit I have developed a real love of it lately, so need to keep practicing.
It was good to play again though,
and since I have some free time today..unless the phone rings! I am off to pay you a visit and see what I have missed.
A Summer picnic, Summer has arrived at last, long may it continue :) I just love the bright sunny days, although I struggle with the heat I have to admit. I am quite prepared to struggle though....lol
Just wanted to pop in from the garden...(whilst hubby is cutting all the lawns) and post my latest creation.
Could have waited till he had done the lawns before taking the pics, but needed the grass to hold the card up...ha-ha method in madness. I can't believe how many times he cuts the grasses, they were only done 5days ago.
Anyway onto my card...
I made this last night and as its CAS it went together quite quickly...well for me that is, but I love the clean freshness of it, for once I actually like what I have made... lol

Without Words ...summer Picnics
Hi everyone,
This is just a very quick post as I need to get organised and wrap pressies up, as going to visit my sister for her birthday tomorrow.
I must share my wonderful news first though, We had a visit from my second Grandson on Monday along with his girlfriend, She was radiant and sporting a beautiful Engagement ring :)) He had proposed at their favourite spot (Roseberry Topping)... Capt. Cook country.
He had bought her ring on Saturday and on Monday after climbing to the top he had gone down on one knee....aww!!! She had no idea it was going to happen.
What romantic grandsons I have :)) We are so happy as she is a lovely girl, and we love her to bits.
Anyway onto business in hand......
I wanted to enter a couple of challenges and one finishes at lunchtime..... Simon Says Stamp "Anything Goes/opt. Candy"

I am trying so hard to do some CAS cards as I love them but find them so hard.
