Shopping Our Stash Challenge #391 ~~ Best Friends

Mimi is the  hostess for the SOS Challenge  and she wants us to Celebrate Friendship.  I chose a House Mouse/Happy Hopper stamp for my image.

This is the most adorable image, I love it, unlikely friends cuddling in the flowers.
The image was cut with Spellbinders label 8 and layered on fancy labels 8, I haven't use them in a long while.

Just had to have a close up

The sentiment is from the Stamp Barn in Ottawa (was sold) I think I bought it at a discount scrap store and not sure if I have ever used it, I have had this for at least 8 years.

I am entering this in:

Thanks for visiting today and head over to the Main Blog and check out what the rest of the design team have made for the challenge then head to your craft room and make your best bud a card.

Hello

I started this card several weeks ago for a friend's birthday but it wasn't going well at all and I was in a time crunch so went with plan 2 and since my flowers were purple I made it a quest to finish it for the Hop To Stop (domestic violence) at Damsel of Distress Blog.

The basket is a wood mount stamp it includes the handles, I can't remember who it belongs to as it is still at the cottage with a few odd bits of supplies. The pansies are from a PSX stamp which I dismantles a bit to fit the project. Hello is a Cuttle bug die (ages old)

The sentiment is from Impression Obsession

I'm entering this in the Hop to Stop

Thanks for stopping by today and head over to the Damsel of Distress blog and check out all the fabulous cards. There are prizes when you enter and you still have until October 30th to enter.

V is for Vellum is the new Challenge at SoSS

And a challenge for sure for me, I had all sorts of ideas as there are so many things you can do with vellum but alas I was sort on time and ended with a very simple but nice card.

Base is Early Expresso the patterned paper is from a DCWV stack pack. I stamped the Friendship on the vellum with brown stazon added a heart brad and a glitter butterfly.

Now that little butterfly took so much time, the glitter paper is very heavy and I had to manually dig out all those little pieces,

Thanks for visiting today and you know you want to show off your projects using Vellum so hop over to the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers check out the rules and the rest of the design team’s projects you will be astounded with their creativity and snark too.

Surfing  through where I keep some of my dies I found this Cheery Lynne Designs Die, called Dainty Dutch Frame. Because of it’s shape  I made a square card. The image was coloured with copics and I added the yellow bow.

Along with the frame there is a medallion in the center so I added it to the inside of the card,

Inside of the card waiting for a sentiment, which most of them are at the house.
Thanks for looking today and have a wonderful Canada Day for those who celebrate.
