Now that March is "in the bag" as they say, it's time to turn the calendar page. April is supposed to be a time of rebirth although you wouldn't know it around the condo. First we had a leak under the kitchen sink which turned out to be a faucet that had outlived its usefulness. (This one can't be blamed on me!) Now the clothes dryer has decided to misbehave. The control panel appears to be toast. When the load finishes, the machine cycles back on all by itself. TW has to hit cancel about 20 times to stop it from cycling back on. Most of the time only half of the wash is dried too. KA-CHING! As if they need the expense.
Hello again! That's how I announce myself to TW when I jump on the cat tree near the computer desk while she is trying to work. I'm back with another exciting cat food review for Chewy.com. For this one, they axed if I wanted to do my report from high atop the Grand Canyon looking down at the river but that sounded a bit too adventurous to this ghetto kitteh. I think I'll lay right in my "mauve thing" and dictate to TW. Are your fingers ready, Woman?

Come on into the studio. WHAT? I CAN'T HEAR YOU! If it looks a little different it's cos we're having a pawty! Yes, I'm taking part in Boris Kitty's #Scifipawty on Twitter! I'll give you the 411 later but everybuddy is invited. Even if you don't have money to donate right now, you can still enjoy the noms and win some prizes.
Since the beginning of time, I've been a rebel. One of the ways I rebel with this blog is I don't do wordless and I don't do Wordless Wednesday. Oh, I'll link up to the blog hop but it never, ever is wordless. I need to be heard loud and clear and if the WW people don't like it, they can go elsewhere but they already do that.
Today bloggers are all worried about their SEO and PUD and Bast knows what else and to go wordless would ruin everything they've worked for all year. The new Wordless Wednesday is a few pics with a few words about the pics. I could do that if you pretend this long intro didn't exist.
I teased you awhile back about the cheapo $6 litter box TW bought me a month or so ago. Let me tell you a little history before I tell you what a bust that box was. When I first moved here, I had a hand-me-down covered box. I didn't complain. Hard as it is to believe now, I was a nobody back then.
Fáilte and welcome! Seems I just got back from my Chewy-sponsored trip to Hawaii and they sent me to Ireland for St. Paddy's Day! Erin go Bragh! Long Live Ireland! I'm here to find me lucky charms. Oh wait, that's the wrong commercial! Can any of you leprehaun cats direct me to the nearest rainbow's end? I have to find me lucky bowl of kibble.

Yes, you read that correctly. Not the Ides of March but the Eyes of March. We had another incident in the condo. This is what reportedly happened. At press time, I hadn't found out all the facts. I don't know how I slept through all the commotion but I did. This is the story as it came across the AP.
When TW was younger and had money to burn, she used to make weekly trips down to the West Village. She'd get off the A train at West 4th Street. Her first stop was always her friend's record shop at 4th and Cornelia Street, where she could kill an afternoon talking, listening to music and thumbing through their hundreds of records. On the way, she passed a place called the Pink Pussy Cat Boutique.
Kitties! How good to see you! This cat is feeling trippy today. I prolly should have done some St. Patrick's Day art but compromised by wearing this cool hat. I can't wait to tell you more about the art I created this week. For Christmas, my furrend Tiny Pearl Cat from Twitter sent me a bag of her special Buzz Nip and I've been hitting it a bit hard the past few days. I'm seeing pink cats and flying squirrels.

🎶 I'm stunning through and throu-u-u-u-ugh. 🎶 Yo kittehs! Today is a departure from the usual blurry Friday foto fare! Randomizer even chose three fotos with a theme. I should play the lottery today cos it's my—and your—lucky day if you come here for a dose of stunning. Once again, I thank the furrends who have played the game and selected the numbers for today and every Friday.
Let's start with the cleaning, Woman! You've wasted enough time. |
This is gonna be a short post since today we will have introoders in the condo taking photos of our ceiling tomorrow. (Actually today since you're reading this on Wednesday.) Seriously! I wonder if the ceiling will get treats for posing. They best not be photographing me without a pocket full of treats. Anyhoo, TW has to reduce some of our clutter so we don't look like hoarders. Why are they taking pics of the ceiling and not The Cat? I'll tell you.
I have been offered a job as a "Secret Shopper" at Kroger! You read right. The Cat has been offered a paying gig. Never mind that I've never set paw into a supermarket and TW tells me we don't even have Kroger in our 'hood. The gig offers mucho dinero so I'm in!
Good day! I was going to do something in Photoshop this week but decided to milk the PiCATso theme another week. My PiCATsos are still the most popular paintings in the gallery. In these uncertain times, I've decided to create a work based on his Guernica. Yes, that's a big undertaking but this cat is up to the task.

Oh, there you are! I didn't hear you coming cos as you can see, I have no ears. Welcome to another Friday in the condo. I'm doing some more Flashback Friday Foto frenzy-ing. We all like to see what we were doing years ago, don't we? I'm inviting you to see what I was doing.
One minute I was relaxing on my pink hand-me-down perch and the next I realized I didn't have a blog post for today. I stopped by #BlogpawsChat and axed if anyone had any questions they wanted to ax me. The lines got busy instantly. Lemme open up the mic for the first caller. Marjorie in New Zealand, are you there?
