What Happened to My Ears?

Oh, there you are! I didn't hear you coming cos as you can see, I have no ears. Welcome to another Friday in the condo. I'm doing some more Flashback Friday Foto frenzy-ing. We all like to see what we were doing years ago, don't we? I'm inviting you to see what I was doing.

#3478 was from a LONG foto shoot which started out with TW taking closeups of my eyes, nose and mouth with the mackerel lens. She finally decided to take a few of the rest of me sans ears. I dunno what her problem with my ears is cos she always cuts them off in fotos. Laying at the foot of Pop's bed gives me the option to look out the window as I am here or turn the other way to snoopervise TW slaving away at the computer. It's a good life for The Cat. Have you ever seen such a perfectly tight paw curl?

What a mess the table was with the Sunday papers spread out all over! Why, there's not even room for a cat to stretch out! I found a great place to lay—right on the papers. If the peeps tried to take a paper from underneath me, I'd bite them. The only option for them was to pet me; however, if they tried, I'd bite them. It's a win-win for the cat and a no-win for the humans. TW did think of a third option and took a trio of fotos.

The last of this five-foto session shows that I must have seen something I liked out the window since I turned my head sharply to look. Pop's window is closed which means it was either very warm or the air hung heavy with pollen but I was enjoying the view anyhoo. Who am I kidding his window is rarely opened. TW says it's too hard to open. If you look closely, you'll notice I'm sitting next to Mr. Cow Cactus. TW always wonders how I could lay up against the cactus and not get pricked cos all she has to do is look at it and she's picking cactus out of her arm. If this foto was taken today, you wouldn't be able to see the tree, all you'd see is the top floor and roof of the new eye sore next door.

Here's hoping you guys have had a wonderful week. I'm spit-shining my beret for artsy-fartsy Caturday. Any plans on your end?

OMC, the paw curl is PERFECTION! *taking notes* We have more of the same lined up for our weekend. You know, napping, watching birds outside, napping more, moving to a different napping spot for more napping. All the important things.

Your tuck in the first picture is phenomenal, CK! We especially love the way the tuck shows off those gray markings on your front legs! The picture of you on the newspaper is adorable (Bear just cringed because he thinks ferociousness as you described should never be described as "cute") ... I probably wouldn't have been able to resist petting you ... bitten or no :)

As always CK, we think your fotos are great. There was a couple other great fotos this week, but we couldn't comment. :( Sorry. But hopefully, we're back. Dat window foto is great. Mommy say very few trees when she was in New York. Guess dat's what ya' give up to live downtown. MOL Hope all is well. Big hugs

Some of my favorite close-ups of Mudpie are sans ears as well! (We're actually using one for our art project tomorrow.) Not much going on here this weekend. It's supposed to be super cold. Errands tomorrow and racing on Sunday...very happy normalcy is back!

That is a very nice tight toe curl. You are lucky TW only cuts your ears off. When my dad takes photos, me and my mum are lucky if we keep our heads.
