That scratching post behind me should come with a warning label. It caused some tense moments in the condo.

We had some tense moments in the condo over the weekend. "What else is new?" you’re probably axing yourself. This was different cos it directly affected The Cat.

This weeks exciting #52Snapshots theme is Shadow. TW always says she's a shadow of herself from when she used to work. She was vibrant and alive or so she says. I dunno. I've seen old pics of her and she was half the person she is today. Maybe even a quarter. She claims she used to look forward to each day. I think I'm being insulted. Anyhow, I guess that's why she likes reducing me to a shadow.

Wednesday Word—iPhone

We don’t have an iPhone but this was taken almost by me on my new iPawd mini.

Since it’s now the end of September, I’d thought I’d share my Facebook Selfies from last month. Actually, this blog has been sitting in draft for three weeks cos something kept coming up like a real blog post. Even though I don’t blog on Sunday’s, I like to show my support for Kitties Blue by participating in their Blog Hop. Remember, you don’t have to be on FB to view my page but if you’re not, you can’t comment or like a post. You can get all color iPhones and iPhone cases and this kitty likes a variety. Of course, if I had to tell the truth under oath, neither TW nor myself has a smart phone of any type.

Can The Cat Fit in The Box?

I received a box full of fabulous peacock feathers that we ordered from Nip and Bones today. After I had a play session with the feathers, TW let me smell the 4” x 4" box. I scoped it out to see if I’d fit in it. TW laughed.

Senile Selfie Sunday

I usually don’t post on Sunday but something arose that is so hilarious … so TW … I just have to share it. Yep, I’m bringing back #Senile Saturday on Sunday. TW outdid herselfie this week. Tell your staff to put down their coffee to avoid spitting it out their noses.

Remembering Today and Every Day

Every September 11 since I started blogging I’ve rerun this piece Pop wrote because, thankfully, I have new readers who may not have read it. Although 14 years have gone by since this terrorist attack, both Pop and TW still recall that terrifying day as if it was yesterday. Pop still flinches when a low-flying plane passes the condo and TW remembers the uncertainty of not being able to contact Pop for 12 long hours. She can still hear the anguished cries of her co-workers who had friends and loved ones working in the WTC as they watched the buildings crumble and disappear from their office window. I’m not trying to be overly dramatic; I’m just reporting the facts.

Kittehs, wait till I tell you what TW pulled this week! She will be severely punished when she least expects it.

Everyone knows I’m a picky eater when it comes to stinky goodness. I cut my teeth on kibble and given my druthers, that’s all I’d eat. I keep my svelte figure under 10 lbs by binging and fasting. I will. not. try. new. foods. I won’t even try new flavors of Fancy Feast. *scrape scrape* Most of it doesn’t even get the scrape treatment; I simply turn on my heels and walk away.

Yes, The Cat labors on Labor Day as I participate in this week’s appropriate theme of Labor. 52 Snapshots of Life is a photo challenge hosted by blogging friends Christina and The Lazy Pit Bull. For those who would like to participate, next week’s theme is Feet, a topic that’s near and dear to TW’s heart since she has that paw fetish.

The Two Faces of Keisha

For the Caturday Art Blog Hop, I’m gonna take you on a tour of my two newest works. I tried two different methods this week. The first I created in Photoshop and framed in BeFunky and the second I made in BeFunky and framed in PS. HAH!

Foto Frenzy in F-Flat

Foto Frenzy is back! After a week off, I’ll bet you’re glad to see another Frenzy! F-flat is a complex scale in music just like photography can be complex to get the right lighting, background and depth of field. A good photographer also helps but I have to make do with TW. Let’s get right into it. None of this week’s fotos are exactly leadoff quality but we have to begin somewhere.

Wednesday Word—(T.E.K.) Technology

Getting down to important business on my new ipawd.

This little ghetto kitteh is the new tech wizard in the family. TW recently purchased an iPawd Mini 3 to replace our old hand-me-down 1st-generation ipawd. (Thanks Theresa for thinking of TW and passing it on to her me.) It wasn’t really in the budget but we needed one if I ever expected to join the #catsofinstagram. We were finding most of our old apps were no longer supported on the old ipawd. The final crushing blow came when TW lost over a hunnert levels of Candy Crush cos the game no longer loaded on the old ipawd.
