My peeps aren't celebrating the changing of the years. TW said she's gonna watch the fireworks from Central Park out the window cos by next year our view may be blocked. Otherwise, they say there's nothing about 2017 to celebrate. Looks like I'm partying alone in my studio. I also created some art for you. I have some more champagne and noisemakers if you'd like to join me.
Yo Kittehs! TW had an eye-opening experience last week. Earlier this year, I had a bunch of asthma flareups. She found a salmon paté that I really liked and mixed my Pred in with it. It was moister than other patés so she'd give me a spoonful with the meds and I'd lick it right up.

You read right. This little ghetto kitteh is thankful for three Sphynx cats from Canada. Over the past six months I've been following Merlin, Dragonheart and Devi and you should too. For those who don't know, every year the blogging cats get together and do a Secret Santa that we call Secret Paws. I've been participating for the last four years and have gotten some wonderful prezzies. This year was no exception.

Happy Holidays!
Today I decided to stay in the condo and feature my 2016 Christmas cards and a fully decorated Fraser. OK, it's not entirely decorated but it has the CK ornament Aunt Pauline bought me near the top. I feel bad that I can't send a card to all my readers because I want to wish all of you a wonderful holiday season. I also wish I could send everyone a tuft of my furs but I kinda need a fur coat this winter.
Those of you who read Stunning Keisha on a regular basis know I blog about different brands of food on a monthly basis in the hopes that you'll get your cat to try something new. I just attended an informative online chat by the wonderful Chloe DiVita of Blogpaws about exclusivity when reviewing pet foods since many of their new campaigns now require it. Some in the pet food industry think that if I talk about Brand X this week and Brand D next week, readers won't trust what I'm saying about either. While I can respect their POV, I'm going to tell you why you need to mix up your cat's diet. Not only is it a good idea to rotate proteins but it's a good idea to rotate brands too even though the larger brands have recipes for practically any dietary need.
Hola! We had a post all written for tomorrow. All it needed was images BUT I decided out of the goodness of my heart to give TW the day off from blogging so she could write my Christmas cards. Instead, I begrudgedly took another selfie of myselfie on my "borrowed" ibone.
Hi, It's CK. I'm trapped inside this Christmas ball. Can you hear me? *waves* Dunno how I got in here. I was decorating my studio tree and suddenly … poof! Since the peeps lost the official CK Christmas ornament that proudly hung from Fraser, I have been obsessed with Christmas balls and ornaments. So much so that I've dug out some moldy oldie art done decades ago like the above card created in 2013 and added a few new ones.

Welcome to a shortened version of Flashback Friday Foto Frenzy where you get to pick the images I use. Not only will you see the unedited fotos but I'll tell you what I was doing when TW took the shots. That's what makes it different than an outtakes post.
Caturday TW and Pop set out with Uncle Vince to pick up either Fraser or Dougie from Home Depot, where I presume they worked part time. He would be invited to stay over the holidays. The moment they saw Fraser, it was love at first sight although Dougie preened shamelessly and almost had TW smitten. Fraser was about seven feet tall; he was full; and, boy, was he ever green! He was so fresh, he had new growths spurting out. They picked him right away. You see, last year's guest tree named Balsam got some moldy sickness before Christmas and they had to put him to sleep December 26th.
The excitement level at the condo has been running high this weekend. Unfortunately, I'm not allowed to post about it tonight. TW says it's still too raw for her. She said I'd have to post this selfie.
I decided to hang some Christmas art up. Do you think this is a nice one? Where should I put it? Right now it's just resting on the floor.

Christmas is getting closer so it's pretty cool that random.org chose this foto! I was looking for this one to put on my Christmas card since it's our computer wallpaper. You can't always get what you want although if you want bloopers, you've come to the right place. I dunno if Christina is gonna keep hosting the Pet Blogger Bloopers Round-Up, but I may continue once a month to post a few bloopers. They're fun and who doesn't enjoy them?
I am NOT a happy cat. I have some bad news. The peeps decided to cut my food budget just like that. TW suggested it and Pop actually went along with it. They have some 'splaining to do.
TW loves ordering from Chewy because of their customer service but Petco now has a new deal for auto delivery—free shipping on any amount. You know how TW hates to waste money on shipping.
Where the Hell-o Kitty are the peeps and my dinner? |
This post is for the humans out there. I don't suppose many of the kitties will understand except the part where my dinner was late. Think of your biggest nightmare in the supermarket and I'm gonna one-up you.
Pop always spends time before the Saturday shopping trip loading digital coupons onto his card. The first thing that went wrong is they forgot to bring the list. Have you ever heard two little old people argue in the supermarket? Those people were my peeps, I'm embarrassed to say. Then came the checkout debacle.
It's been a busy week. We've been trying to visit a few of you every day. I'v been decorating my
It's Friday and I'm inviting you to "pet my tummy." Heh heh. At your own risk, of course. Much to TW's dismay, I've yet to become a "lap cat" or even a snuggler. But if you visit and read my Flashback Friday Foto Frenzy, you can come in closer to the screen and pet away.
How was your Thanksgiving? I started celebrating early cos Chewy sent me a case of Merrick Thanksgiving Day Dinner™! While I was eating my feast, I couldn't stop thinking about those homeless cats living on the streets not far from here. There are even some living in our parking garage. Some are on the streets because they choose to be; others because they were born to feral mothers and never trapped, neutered and socialized. I remember that life.

Holla! I know you weren't expecting to see me today and I wasn't planning on being here. Plans change. I certainly wasn't planning on joining the Kitties Blue Selfies Blog Hop, not cos I have anything against them, but cos I had planned on taking today off and blogging tomorrow. Plans do change.
Please, won't you come into my humble little abode and have a seat on the couch. Try not to fur it up. TW, you can leave now while I entertain. Oh, and bring us some ahi tuna pâté pul-lease. I so wanted you to see this special work of art hanging on the wall. It's quite a departure from my usual works. This was not done by myself; rather it's the work of a four-year-old child. Yes, a sticky little human gifted this fine "Frozen" art to my peeps.
We have a sign outside our door that simply says "Give Thanks." TW hangs it up every November after the Halloween sign comes down. The first year it was up, a neighbor made a point to tell TW how that simple sign inspired her. She was feeling down and those two words made a difference in her life.
Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and then we have Black Friday, one of the biggest

TW says this one is a good one but I'm not so sure. I don't see how feeling your cat up in personal spots could bring me closer to the peeps. It can bring my chompers a lot closer to their yummy fingers though.
Holla! I haven't been spending much time at my gallery lately. Instead I've been in my studio painting some Thanksgiving Day art. I know my pilgrim hat looks a lot like my witch's hat but it is what it is. Yes, this kitteh is proudly wearing a safety pin. My art defines me and if I do say so myself, these are STUNNING! I can't wait to see what you—my loyal
Now is the time of the year when most of my furrends, myself included, are losing our sunpuddles—except those who live in Australia. Our temps are down in the 50's and they dip into the 40's at night. Brrrrr! Needless to say, I haven't been spending much time by the window so it's nice to see these Flashback Friday Foto Frenzy memories from back when the sun was warm and relaxing on my furs. As always you chose the fotos, we didn't 'shop them and randomly selected a few to feature. I hope you enjoy seeing them and reading my memories.
Tuxies are stunning! |
Tomorrow is National Black Cat Day. What's up with that? Does it seem to you that there are about seven days each year honoring black cats? Dunno who declared this but I say no fair to those of us cats who have different color furs and markings. When I look through the CB weekly planner, I see lots of black cats and tabbies but few tuxies and torties.
Hello kittehs! Guess what, I have nothing for you today. Nothing. Nil. Nada. Nunca. Nothing but an image and paragraph or two. We couldn't even write a post around the Happy Cat pamphlet cos she said there's no happy her. Why, you may ax. I'm gonna tell you.
I spent all day yesterday drawing some art for you so I hope you appreciate it. I wish I could churn 'em out faster but it is what it is.
We've made it to Friday of this tumultuous week and I'm here to offer some levity cos today is our monthly bloopers' review! Our first order of business is to show some of your Flashback Friday Foto Frenzy pics.

Every cat needs a good box to stand on … until it's opened and we can get inside. I have to admit, I'd rather stand on top than crawl into it. Oversize boxes are the best and this one was huge. You like the little yellow toy hanging from the door? TW said she bought it in the dollar store for me but it was really for herself. She was sad when it finally went OTRB. This is one of five fotos taken atop Mountain BeyondtheRack. TW had thrown me a toy in hopes that I might bat it down. That didn't work. Judging from how this is the last foto of the set, I'll bet she gave up on me and ignored me the rest of the day. 😿It's time once again to peek into the pamphlet Happy Cat Happy You. I was bugging TW that she needed to buy more litter a few weeks ago cos I only had like two 40-lb bags left. That may seem like a lot for one cat but if the peeps can have eight cases of bottled water, I can have lots more litter.
Chewy to the rescue! Our #ChewyInfluencers' mailing offered a bag of Frisco™ clumping litter for review purposes. TW jumped on it. You may not have heard of Frisco litter because it's available exclusively at Chewy.com.

Today is my favorite day of the year other than my Gotcha Day and Christmas. It's the blogging day I look forward to all year—BlogBlast for Peace™, the 2006 brainchild of Mimi Lenox I've been participating in since 2011. Mimi wanted to know what would happen if the entire blogosphere posted the same thing on the same day. It hasn't changed the world—yet—but it's provided some creative and wonderful images of peace. You can view the peace globes on their site or their Facebook page.

Long ago and far away, I had a goat furrend named Pricilla. She lived on a farm with the other Happy Goats and four Farm Cats. I never met her in the fur but TW seemed to really like the soap made from her milk. Pricilla is OTRB now although I still wonder how her milk tasted. When I saw that Chewy was offering food made with goat's milk to it's influencers, I knew I had to try it.

As you can tell from the title, TW is a fan of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, which was redone last week. She watched it and complained about all the commercials. It had it's moments and the music is still pretty neat but she'll take the original over it. I'll take MY double feature over either of them
Back in September, TW took some cool photos where I looked like I saw a ghost. She knew she had some great shots to use on Halloween but what to do? Then I suggested movie posters!
Come in por favor! I was just about to give a showing of my latest Halloween art on this last Caturday before the big day of witches, bats and big, black cats. Of course we know black cats are anything but evil and so am I. Halloween is also Pop's birthday and so we celebrate here at Condo Keisha.

Welcome to the Halloween edition of Flashback Friday Foto Frenzy. I've found a couple of Halloween and fall-themed fotos chosen by you guys. This weekend is gonna be filled with Halloween fun and frights and today is a good day to start.

Tip #5. Schedule Play Sessions. It says cats are most active at dawn and dusk which is very true. I can't find fault with that. I can only find fault that we have to write out a schedule to play. I'm a spontaneous cat.
Remember to hover over pics for secret messages. |
I usually like to write about somewhat spooky things around Halloween. Last year I wrote about Gramma's ghost in our old house. Cats are magical creatures. We can predict storms, tornadoes, etc. We can also sense the supernatural. I'm a cat and I can sense any paranormal activity in the condo. Who you gonna call?
Wednesday night started as any other … and then TW found me, eyes glazed, staring at the records. She knew the drill. Normally, when a cat stares like that, the first thing the staff thinks is that they see vermin. TW knew better cos she's seen it before so she ran for the flashy box.
Cackle, cackle, paint and trouble. Paint me a Halloween masterpiece. Shazam!
Whoa! I got four of them! This witchy magic stuff really works! I'll bet it's the hat. I'm going to remember this next week.

It's Friday again! Is this the weekend we mess with the clock and "fall back" or something? I can never keep track of what humans have up their sleeves. They're always doing some stupid thing or another to make their lives more difficult. Huh? Pop tells me that's not until next month. I'm making my life easier by having another Flashback Friday Foto Frenzy! I've gotten great suggestions from the "peanut gallery" which have been thrown into random.org. It's picked out some weird ones indeed this week.

Tip #4: A Cat's Tail—Mood Barometer. OK. Fair enough. I'm going to compare their educated opinions with my own—as a cat. A feral cat who takes no prisoners. What they say is in blue type.
Today is Blog the Change 4 Animals and tomorrow is National Feral Cat Day so I'm gonna combine them into one post. I hope no one minds and if they do *pfffttttt*. I once was a feral street cat but—not to worry—I'm not really in the bag. We did some photoshop magic. Thanks to my Pop, I learned about some working cats in NYC and I'd like to share their story.
It's the second Friday of the month so I'll be sharing some bloopers with you after our regularly scheduled program. Who doesn't love seeing bloopers—those pics that normally would get deleted before they'd ever be posted on a blog. Did I move? Did TW move? Who caused the screw-up this month? You'll be surprised. Foto frenzy is quite similar to bloopers since they're fotos that won't get published for one reason or another.
Mirror mirror on the wall
Who's the most stunning of them all?
I often ax the mirror that question, even though I know the answer. Occasionally, I'll want a second opinion.
Eleventy billion years ago, I received the Sunshine Blogger Award here and here and here when the badge, format and rules were different. This "award" is meant to shed light on those fellow bloggers whose positivity and creativity you admire. It has come outta the crypt and reared it's ugly little head again in time for Halloween. I've been nominated for the 2016 version by the Four-Legged Furballs. Mr. Google should note that I used no-follow links in this paragraph. Seeing how everyone should admire my creativity and positivity, I can't believe every kitten hasn't nominated me so I thank them for this prestigious award!
Happy Caturday! This was truly an uninspiring week so please excuse the mess. TW still has the dizzies and I've been kinda moping around too. I ain't no Jackson Pollack but I decided to toss some paint around in my studio and see what I could come up with. I like my new works but the wall came pretty funky too.
I'm doing the head tilt like Summer always does. In fact, I think I've aced it. I'm beckoning y'all to come on and visit with me this frenzied Friday. Today's fotos come from different years and different phrases [sic] of my life. You've never seen them before and will likely never see them again. Heh heh! Just kidding! You may see them cropped differently is what I meant to say.
TW is a worry wart. She isn't happy unless she's worrying about something: their finances, fire, the election, her health, Pop's health, my health and the list goes on and on. Sunday night it was her turn to once again worry about my health.
