    KABATAAN OF BARANGAY #7 CARUAN, PASUQUIN, ILOCOS NORTE HELD AT THE
    BARANGAY SESSION HALL ON DECEMBER 16, 2023 AT 9:00 IN THE MORNING.

    WHEREAS, under RA 10742 otherwise known as the “SK Reform Act of 2015” and
    DBM-DILG-NYC Joint Memorandum Circular No. 1, series of 2019, the SK shall have the
    financial independence in its operations, disbursements, and encashment of their fund,
    income and expenditures thus, required to create to own current account separate and
    distinct from its parent Barangay;

    WHEREAS, John Lei R. Recta is the duly elected SK Chairperson and Angelica Pasion
    is the duly appointed SK Treasurer, both of the SK of Barangay #7 Caruan, Pasuquin, Ilocos
    Norte;

    WHEREAS, the above-mentioned SK Officials are hereby: (a) authorized to


    represent the SK of Barangay Barangay #7 Caruan, Pasuquin, Ilocos Norte to open a current
    account with the Development Bank of the Philippines – Laoag City Branch; and (b)
    declared to be the legal and authorized signatories thereof;

    WHEREAS, the authorization given to them shall remain valid and effective only at
    the duration of their term, unless otherwise earlier amended and/or revoked or extended
    by proper authorities;

    WHEREAS, SK Chairperson John Lei R. Recta and SK Treasurer Angelica Pasion are
    now being authorized to execute proper signature cards and all other documents necessary
    to effect the purpose of this resolution;

    NOW THEREFORE, on motion of SK Kagawad Charlene Gonzals seconded by SK


    Kagawad Kiel B. Butac and the august body, be it;

    RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved by the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay #7
    Caruan, Pasuquin, Ilocos Norte to: (a) authorize SK Chairperson Ghemalyn Butac and SK
    Treasurer Chariza Butac to represent the SK to open a current account with the
    Development Bank of the Philippines – Laoag City Branch; and (b) declare them as the legal
    and authorized signatories thereof.

    RESOLVED FURTHER to transcribe copies of this resolution to the Development


    Bank of the Philippines – Laoag City Branch, and other offices concerned for their
    information and guidance.
