I. OBJECTIVES

A. Content Standard
The learner demonstrates communicative competence through his/her understanding of using
adjectives and adverb in sentence.

B. Performance Standard
The learner uses range of adjectives and adverbs to convey emotional response or reaction
to an issue to persuade.

C. Learning Competencies

At the end of class period the students should be able to:

 Identify the use of adjectives and adverbs in emphasizing sentences through the
given examples.
 Apply the concepts of using adjectives and adverbs in various contexts by
demonstrating their understanding through written and oral exercises.
 Appreciate the importance of using adjectives and adverbs in speeches, text or
sentences through expressing ideas, feelings and opinions.

“Dancing letters”

Instructions: The class will be divided into two


groups, each of the group will choose two
representatives to perform in the front of their
groups. The representative shall perform the letters
using their body of the word given to their groups,
while other group members will guess what are the
words given to them.
