This course shall include pedagogical content, knowledge, and skills in technology and livelihood education
necessary in teaching and learning at the elementary level. Selected topics in agriculture, industrial arts, fisheries,
and livelihood education and entrepreneurship shall form a major part of the course. The students will learn

that can be utilized in teaching TLE in the elementary grades. This course will utilize project based and experiential
learning approaches.

At the end of the course, pre-service teachers should be able to:

through research based principles of teaching and learning;
b. Use Mother Tongue, Filipino and English to facilitate teaching and learning;
c. Demonstrate knowledge of managing classroom structure that engages learning within the available physical

e. Select, develop and used varied teaching and learning resources in TLE; and
f. Design, select, organized and used appropriate and varied assessment strategies consistent with the
