III. Procedure
A. Preparatory activities
1. Prayer
The teacher will call a pupil to lead the prayer.
2. Checking of Attendance
The teacher will call the pupils one by one, and the pupils that
is being called will raise their hands and say present.
3. Classroom Rules
The teacher will present to the class the classroom rules, and
the teacher will let the pupils read them.
Classroom Rules:
Listen when your teacher is talking
Follow the directions carefully
Raise your hand if you want to say something
No transferring of seats during discussion
Respect yourself, classmates and your teacher
Don’t laugh when your classmates got the wrong answer
Throw your trashes in the trashcan
Be honest
4. Motivation
The teacher will let the students sing a song entitled twinkle,
twinkle little star with a different beat in a video presentation.
B. Developmental Activities
1. Lesson Presentation
The teacher will ask to the learners a questions.
1. What did you notice about the beat of the song that we sung?
After, the teacher will present the new lesson by asking this
question.

2. Discussion
The teacher will give the meaning of tempo to the learners.
Tempo is the speed or pace of a given piece. It can be slow and it
can be fast.
3. Analysis
The teacher will show to the class a picture of animals. The
learners will mimic and demonstrate the movements of animals that
the teacher will be showing. The learners will be called and go in
front one by one. The other learners who are not yet called will
guess what tempo is being used or demonstrated.
Activity 2
The teacher will provide a box. The box contains a strips of
paper with a phrase written on it. Each learner will pick one by one.
Then, learners will demonstrate what was written.

The teacher will divide the class into two. First group is
composed of students who has pet on their house. The second
group is composed of students who don’t have. The teacher will
instruct the first group to demonstrate the movement of their pet.
And the teacher will ask the second group as to what pet they like
the most and they will demonstrate its movement to the class.
After, the teacher will ask to the learners as to what tempo is being
used or demonstrated.
IV. Evaluation
The teacher will group the class into four. Each group will be
assigned to a specific animal and will imitate its movement. Then,
each group will choose what tempo they will use.
