Orientation Before we start, let us have first a recap of what has transpired during yesterday’s training. I would like to request Mr. ____________ to give us a

The purpose of this test is for me to determine if you have a prior learning on this qualification.
(w/out recognized prior This is the CBLM of (title of your qualification). Read the information sheet in UC 1 which is (title of UC 1 on the Core competencies of your
learning (RPL)) qualification) then after reading, accomplish the self-check and compare your answer to the answer key. After that, you may proceed to Practical
Work Area to interpret the Task/Job sheet in UC 1 (title of UC 1 on the Core competencies of your qualification).

(On certificate of employment --- interview what his work in the institution/company, how many years been working to institution.)
For further validation of your prior learning kindly answer this test. It is a multiple-choice test with 30 items. And you must get atleast 80 percent
from the 30 items.
I will give you 20 minutes to finish this test. Okay here is your test paper.
Mr. ______ based on your test you got 28/3 you almost perfect the test, this shows that you have a prior learning in UC 1 (title of UC 1 on the Core
competencies of your qualification) which is supported with your certificate of employment and portfolio.
You may now proceed to the next UC which is the UC 2 (title of UC 2 on the Core competencies of your qualification). Please proceed to the
learning resource area.

Practical Work Area Mr. ________ here is the Task/Job/Operation sheet kindly perform the task and after that I will evaluate you based on the Performance criteria
checklist. But of course, you will evaluate yourself too using this performance criteria checklist.
(Reminder, please ensure trainees to wear proper PPE for their safety precautions)
(Evaluate his performance. Check the performance criteria checklist. Look for mistakes then make a return demo to correct his mistakes and
make him demo in return. Then after he perform correctly, record his performance in “Achievement Chart”).
Feedbacking Since you have performed satisfactorily the demonstration and covered all the critical points in performance criteria checklist. Well done Mr.
__________ I will record nor your performance on the Achievement Chart.
Without RECOGNIZED Mr. ______ since you already perform the task satisfactorily for this unit of competency which is (title of UC 1 on the Core competencies of your
PRIOR LEARNING (RPL) qualification), you are now qualified to undergo Institutional Competency Assessment, just inform me anytime if you are ready to undergo the
institutional assessment. For now, you can go to the Learning Resource Area for more reading or computer laboratory for more research. Or you
can go to the Practical work area for more practice.
Institutional Assessment Since you voluntarily submit yourself for institutional assessment our institutional competency assessment composes of 3 methods….1st - written
Area test with 30 items and the passing score is 24, 2nd - demonstration for 30 minutes (remind the safety - Basic Safety and Health Procedures), 3rd –
oral interview.
(Written test) After answering your written test submit it to me and you can proceed to the practical work area.
(After submitting the written test, the trainee will proceed to the Practical work area)
Practical Work Area Here is the specific instruction, please read and interpret the task.
(Hold the demonstration checklist and make a note for reference later)
(Give strength, weakness and areas for improvement --- example: he works slowly so he needs to improve his speed and he must know how to
use the equipment properly)
Mr. ____ since you’ve passed all the unit of competencies in (title of your qualification) you are now COMPETENT and qualify to take the National
Competency Assessment for (title of your qualification).
Kindly go to the nearest TESDA Accredited Competency Assessment Center for national assessment. Please bring 2 pcs passport size id pictures
with white background and collar and amount as your assessment fee.

How about answering the self-check? Are you done? If yes, you may proceed to the practical work area. But it seems already 5 p.m.; you may go
