According to the questionnaires that I have here it seems


that Mr. Vibas has a relevant experience about Poultry
Production, that’s good. It’s ok Ms. Palomar, that’s why
we have this training so you can have experience.
About the result of your pre- test, Mr. Vibas you got
30/35 very Good and Ms. Awid you got 25/35, its ok
Ms. Palomar you can improve throughout this training.

about CBT Competency Based Training
Ok, What is CBT? (read the slides)
So this means that CBT does not focus on what you
know but what you can actually do. It focuses more on
the outcomes rather than the process. And it is learner
centered. Ok, do you have any questions?

 Principles of CBT 1. The training is based on curriculum developed
from the competency standards;
2. Learning is modular in its structure;
3. Training delivery is individualized and self- pace;
4. Training is based on work that must be
performed;
5. Training materials are directly related to the
competency standards and the curriculum;
6. Assessment of learners is based in the collection
of evidences of work performance based on
industry or organizational required standards.
7. Training is based on and off the job components;
8. 8. Training programs allows Recognition of Prior

Demonstration- for your skills

 Monitoring Tools So we have monitoring tools and you can monitor your
own progress also.

your progress throughout the training.

evidence on the performance of work
If you passed you will be rate competent

Distance Learning Area- You can have non-print and
print materials that you can bring at home.
Quality Control area- in our quality control area
various test are conducted.
Computer Laboratory- In our computer area you can
use computer for browsing in internet and viewing
videos.
Support Service area-this is where we address
underpinning skills in the competency.

 Greet the Trainees Good Morning Trainees… Welcome to the training Proper
Today I will be assigning you to your respective work
station

 Assign trainees to I have the training activity matrix, this will be our guide

your evidence.
Mr. Vibas based on your pretest and self- assessment
checklist, you have knowledge on poultry production.
And base on certificate of employment that you have
submitted you have been working as a poultry raiser at
RASTI farm for 3 years, so you can proceed to the
institutional assessment area for the validation of your
prior learning in brood and grow chicks.

And you Ms. Palomar, please start with the unit of


competency of trim beak, here’s the cblm, read the
 trainees taking information sheet3.1-1 and answer self-check 3.1-1 and
institutional compared answer with the answer key.

For the validation of your prior learning in brood and
grow chicks I will give you written test, demonstration

Your task is to perform trim beaking. I will be
conducting the demo, I want you to observe. This is how
to do it.

practicing your task please observe safety precautions
and you can rate your own performance using the

only out of 35, that’s great.
For your demonstration you have hesitation in trimming
the beak of the chicks and that’s not the proper handling
of chicks during debeaking, if the chicks keep on
restraining it will cause injury. And for your oral
questioning you were not able to answer some of the
question.
So, base on this evidence I found you not yet competent
Please go to the computer laboratory area and watch the
video presentation in proper trimming of beak.

undergo the institutional assessment again.

Okey Mr. Vibas base on your written exam you got 33


only out of 35, that’s great.
For your demonstration you were able to demonstrate
properly and classified the eggs correctly.
Then for your oral questioning you were able to answer
all the questions confidently.
So, based on this evidence I found you competent on
this unit of competency of Pre lay and lay activities.

Okey Mr. Vibas, you have completed all the unit of
competency in this qualification. For that I will give you
a certificate of accomplishment. Congratulations. I will

multiple choice test and I give you 30 minutes to

The purpose of this training evaluation is to identify
