Good morning everyone! My name is JONJI TORRJA. I am your trainer for DRAFTING
NC II. By the way, how are you today? Well, it’s good to know that you are all excited
to this training. I would like to welcome you all to ZPPSU your training center for
Technical Drafting NC II. Where quality training is our outmost priority.
Okay. Let me first check your attendance. Kindly fill out this attendance sheet by

ORIENT THE TRAINEES ON THE CBT WITH THE USE OF THE POWER POINT
PRESENTATION
Before the training proper allow me to give you an orientation about CBT.

SAY: .I’d like to welcome you all to competency based training. And so on…
Okay. To start with, please accomplish this learner’s characteristics form. This will
serve as inputs in the preparation of the activities depending on your characteristics
and learning styles. Are you done? Please pass. Thank you.
This time I would like you to accomplish this Self-assessment checklist. This will help
me plan the learning activities for each one of you for in this pre-assessment, I will be
able to determine/recognize the skills that you already learned previously either
through training or experience. Are you done? Please pass it now.
The last one is the pretest. This will help me recognize your prior learning and
determine your training needs. This is a 50- item multiple choice questions. You are
given one hour to answer this. You may start now. Are you done? Please pass it now.

The data gathered in this pre-assessment will be used to adjust the learning
methods, facilities/resources to fit your individual training needs.
Good afternoon trainees! How was your lunch? That’s great! By the way, I now have
the results of your pre-assessment administered this morning. Based on the data
collected from forms 4.2 and pre-test scores, Mr. Jason Mallorga possibly has a prior
learning in this qualification. And with that, he will be scheduled for an interview,
and demonstration of skills tomorrow.
So much of that, as promised, I am going to tour you around our learning stations.

This is your Learning resource area where you can read the modules in order for you
to acquire the knowledge.
This is your Practical area. This is the heart of the CBT areas. This is the area for the
actual practice of your skills.
Then for the rest of the CBT areas, just mention one by one without giving the purpose.
Such as the TRAINERS RESOURCE AREA, CONTEXTUAL LEARNING AREAS, SUPPLY
AREA, QUALITY CONTROL AREA, DISTANCE LEARNING AREA, AND INSTITUTIONAL
ASSESMENT AREA.

CONDUCT AN INTERVIEW AND HAVE HIS DEMOMSTRATE A TASK (Drafting floor plan).

TRAINING PROPER (After determining the student’s prior learning and training needs
through the pre-assessment activities, trainees activities will be determined)
SAY: After determining your prior learning and learning needs, let us check in the
activity matrix as to what will be your activity for today. Mr. Jason Mallorga since
you already acquired a competency draft architectural layout and details, your
task will be drafting your floor plan drawings in Auto-CAD and later we’re going to
proceed to the practical area.
Mr. Mallorga this is the practical area for Drafting NC II. As you can see, we have
here computers that is have Auto-CAD software. I want you to observe me while I
demonstrate the task on drafting floor plan. So in doing the task we should always
observe safety at all times, so it is a must to wear our PPE.
THEN TRAINER DEMONSTRATES THE TASK ON DRAFTING A FLOOR PLAN IN
AUTOCAD SOFTWARE
So this is how to create floor plan in AutoCAD in accordance with drafting
specifications. Do you have any questions or clarifications?
NOTE: After the trainer’s demonstration, Have the trainee perform the return
demonstration on software to draft floor plan in autoCad .
SAY: This time, you are going to have the return demonstration. You’re going to
perform the task for 30 minutes. If you need some tools/equipment, you may get it
from the SUPPORT AREA. You may now start.
NOTE: As the trainee demonstrates the task, the trainer observes and list down her
observation. THEN the trainer will check the students’ output.
SAY: OK you’re done. Let me check your work. So you we’re able not to draft some
part of the floorplan well. With that, you’re not yet competent in this task. I want you
to practice some more in order for you to gain mastery.
NOTE: remember that in CBT approach, a trainee can’t move to the next task without
mastering a certain task or without demonstrating a competency in a certain task. So
meaning, mastery must be achieved first before moving to the next task.
SAY: Mr. Monteverde, let us check in the activity matrix as to what will be your
activity. Ok so you are going to read information sheet 1.1-1 on how to plan and
prepare for work. Here is your information sheet 1.1-1. I want you to read it and
answer self-check 1.1-1. You can also use the computer laboratory for additional
research or printing your materials. You may now proceed to the learning resource
area.
SAY: Good morning. Welcome to our online training. Today you are going to learn
about how to draft Architectural plans Are you ready? I’ll be showing you first the
video clip on drafting a floor plan. First Choose your area. To start, you’ll need
to know the type of floor plan you want to create.Know your dimensions. If
you’re creating a floor plan for an existing building, take accurate
measurements of the space Start in pencil. If you’re drawing a floor plan by
hand, keep your markings light and erasable. Draw to scale. Draw floor
plans to scale to help draft an accurate representation of how the finished
design will look. Mark features with the correct shorthands. Use the
correct markings, abbreviations, or symbols for your floor plan . Include the
features, Know which direction the windows face, Add an elevation.So it’s
easy right? Ok I want you to familiarize the procedure. If there are no more
