Preparatory Activities:
Teachers and Parent’s orientation, the Department of Education, in line with the
MATATAG agenda adopt the Policy Guidelines in the Implementation of National Learning
Camp. Deped's commitment to the National Learning Recovery Program is aided by this
policy, which aims to close learning gaps and aid learners in achieving learning standards.
Matatag Elementary School held an orientation with parents on July ___, 2024, to
promote teamwork and collective responsibility among our pupils. Collaboration, parent
consent, and discussion were all part of the process for a voluntary recovery learning
program. Parents are informed about the Camp Activities and our teaching methods are
tailored to meet the diverse needs of our students.
Advocacy Activities are conducted in accordance with the policy guidelines of NLC,
a voluntary recovery learning program. The NLC is expected to be conducted every end of
the school year break to compliment learning efforts in the previous school year and provide
foundation for gains in the upcoming school year. Our initiative included posting Tarpaulins
outside of our school, tarpaper in every classroom, and using it for the NLC Campaign.
Learning Environment:
Instruction, Matatag Elementary School upholds the NLC to achieve the National
Recovery Program's objectives. Based on the post results and findings of CRLA
(Comprehensive Rapid Literacy Assessment) which was conducted in the last quarter of S.Y.
2024, it showed that some there are pupils fall in emerging and transitioning that need to
assist to give on their specific needs. Our primary focus during the first three days of the
program was to establish strong relationships with the learners, conduct diagnostic
assessments, and create individualized learning paths for each pupil. By engaging with the
students in person, we were able to identify their unique needs.
