    Rules and regulations for Preliminary:

    1. Participants are provided with 5 different poems and are required to choose one from it to
    recite.
    2. Do take note that participants are required to choose one of the poems for semi-finals and
    final round as well and it can be the same poems as long as it meets the timing criteria.
    3. Video should be 2-3 minutes long and in MP4 formatting.
    4. If the time is below or more than the time allocated, marks will be deducted.
    5. Video should be clear and loud to ensure smooth judging process.
    6. Participants are allowed to use any sorts of props/attire as creativity will also be considered.
    7. Participants are required to upload their video latest by 20th October 10 P.M.

    Rules and regulations for Semi-Finals and Finals:

    Semi-finals:

    1. Participants are allowed to choose any one out of the five poems provided during
    preliminary round to recite.
    2. Participants may use the same poems recited for preliminary round.
    3. There is no timing set for semi-finals and participants are given the freedom to recite the
    poem in any way.
    4. Participants are required to be dressed in Traditional attire.
    5. Participants are allowed to use any sorts of props as creativity will also be considered.
    6. Participants need to be at the venue at 7.30 A.m. for the registration.
    7. Participants should be punctual.
    8. Participants are required to abide by the rules and regulations of UNITEN and maintain a
    respectful demeanour towards everyone present at the venue.

    Finals:

    1. Participants are allowed to choose any one out of the five poems provided during
    preliminary round to recite.
    2. Participants are required to recite their desired poems by 3 minutes.
    3. Marks will be deducted for participants with timing more or less than 3 minutes.
    4. The bell will be rung on every subsequent minute and the jury will stop the participant once
    the time is up.
    5. Participants are allowed to use any sorts of props as creativity will also be considered.
    6. Participants are required to abide by the rules and regulations of UNITEN and maintain a
    respectful demeanour towards everyone present at the venue.
