GENERAL RULES
All the participants are required to bring their valid College ID Cards.
On spot registrations are allowed.
Overall registration entitles one team/two individuals from the
registering college to take part in each event.
Additional teams/participants will have to register separately.
Song/Music (MP3 format), in CD or Pen drive needs to be submitted
to the organizers during the registration.
Students should come prior to the event start time.
The organizers have the right to reschedule or cancel any event(s), if
the situation warrants.
The decision of the jury will be final and binding on the participants.
Students should obey all the rules.
A team or participants should pay Rs. 250 registration fee only for all
events.
Online and spot registration is available.
Event Rules
1. START MUSIC
Coordinators:
Janarthanan & Nivetha - 4th year EEE
Description
Teams of 3 compete in three rounds featuring Tamil movie songs.
Round 1 requires identifying songs from pictures. Round 2, a buzzer
round tasks teams with identifying songs from snippet of song. Round 3
challenges them to fill in missing lyrics. Incorrect answers no points for
the opponent in Rounds 1 and 2, but opponent gain points in Round 3.

Rules
Round 1 (Connection Round)
Teams will need to identify the correct song corresponding to a given
picture by connecting the picture to the song. They will have 45
seconds to identify each song, and there will be a total of 3 songs
played. Team must answer using the buzzer. In Round 1, if any team
provides an incorrect answer, no marks will be awarded to opponent
team.
Round 2 (song Identification Round)
This round will be a buzzer round. A snippet of each song will play
for 30 seconds. Teams must buzz in to identify the song. There will
be 3 songs played in this round. In Round 2, if any team provides an
incorrect answer, no marks will be awarded to
opponent team.
Round 3 (Missing Word Challenge)
Teams will listen to a song playing for 30 seconds, but one word will
be missing from the lyrics. Teams must buzz in to fill in the missing
word. There will be 5 songs played in this round, and teams must
answer using the buzzer. In Round 3, if any team provides an
incorrect answer, marks will be awarded to opponent team.

2. CHANNEL SURFING
Coordinators:
Rajesh 4th year MECH & Srikanth - 4th Year EEE
Rules
Each team must have (min 5 to max 8) members.
Performance timing is 5 to 7 minutes.
Cue will be given by judge to change the channel on spot.
Performance has to be changed immediately after that.
All the participants in the group should act accordingly.
Criteria for judgment: spontaneity, content, humor, audience response
and coordination.
Judges decision will be final.
3. MEHANDI
Coordinators:
Aayisha 4th CSE & Pavithra - 4th EEE
Rules
Time given - 1 hr
Any themed design or free design
Mehendi should be bought by your own
Mehendi should cover one hand
Participate can apply on their own hand or other person's hand ( try to
bring your model )
No extra time given

4. FIRELESS COOKING
Coordinators:
Atchya 4th CSE & Apshana - 4 th CSE
Rules
The process of preparing food without the use of gas and fire.
Participants efforts are evaluated on the basis of 5 parameters.
a) Dish name
b) Taste
c) Presentation
d) Calorie content
e) Hygiene

5. REELS
Coordinators:
Vikash and Vasanthi - 4th year ECE
Rules
The video should be original and creative.
The video should not exceed more than 60 seconds.
Content should not contain any violence and defamatory.
The decision of the judges shall be final and abiding.
Participants should submit your reel prior three hours.
6. SHIP WRECK
Coordinators:
Abinaya & Shalini - 4th year ECE
Rules
It is a solo event.
Characters will be assigned on spot.
Participants will get 1 minute 30 seconds to prepare.
Participants will get 2 minutes for their speech and 3 minutes for
rebuttal and to answer the questions.
The Judges may switch your Characters at any Points.
They can ask you to speak in 0 5x or 2x.
They can ask you to Convince them in 20 words and counter the
Opponent's statement.
Judge's will evaluate participants based on their Originality, and
resemblance to the character’s switch, speed change and convincing
the judges.
Winners are announced on the same day and the prices will be given.

7. FACE PAINTING
Coordinators:
Arun & Sivaraman - 4th year Civil
Rules
It is a team event. There is only 2 members(competitor &model).
Time Limit - 50 minutes.
Theme will be given on spot.
Participants insisted to bring necessary items by their own.
Skin safe products are recommended
8. SOLO DANCE
Coordinators:
Rathika & Megasri - 4th year CSE
Rules
Judging will be done based on Creativity, Innovation and design.
Participants will perform for 4-5 mins
Participants must submit their music tracks in advance to the event
organizers.
The use of props is allowed but must be approved by the organizers
beforehand.
Dance performance should not convey any indecent gestures.
Costumes should be appropriate for the style of dance and must not
contain any offensive or inappropriate imagery.
Performances will be evaluated based on various criteria including
formation, creativity, musicality, stage presence, costume,
expressions, and overall performance quality.
Judges' decisions are final and not subject to appeal.

Participants are expected to display sportsmanship and respect
towards fellow competitors, judges, and event staff.
Participants must register for the competition within the specified
deadline.
9. GROUP DANCE
Coordinators:
Prathaba Ruthiran 4th year ECE & Poovarasan 4th
year EEE
Rules
Time limit is 5 - 7 minutes for each performance.
Each team may have 5-12 members.
Choice of songs is open to the participants.
Submit the audio track to coordinator of the event . Before the event
start.
Dance performance should not convey any indecent gestures.
Properties are allowed but don't use fire props.
1 min for stage setting before start performance and 1 min for stage
clearing after performance.
The participants will be judged on the basis of their styles, rhythm,
formation, synchronization, expressions, and costumes and overall
effects.
Decision of the judges will be final and binding.

10. ADAPTUNE
Coordinators:
Rithwik & Sridharan - 4th year MECH
Rules
Maximum 3 members can participate at a time.
Time Duration - 2 minutes.
Songs will be played Continuously in random from any language.
Participants should dance according to the song played.
Judging will be done based on adaptation, dance moves, continuity
and audience responses etc.
Judges decision will be final.

Obscenity (at the discretion of judges) and foul language of any kind
are not allowed and will lead to disqualification of the said band.
The organizing committee shall not be held accountable for any
broken equipment, injuries, or any negative occurrence.
No extra time will be given.
The decision made by the judges will be final and binding for all.
12. MIME
Coordinators:
Gunesh & Swetha - 4th year CIVIL
Rules
Team event, consisting of maximum 6 members.
Time duration will be 10 minutes.
The act should not contain any dialogues, lip sync, props and music.
No act, shall contain any offensive, obscene, disrespectful actions or
gestures.
Background music is allowed.
No mythology and religion violence.
Judgement will be based on overall appearance and performance.

13. SILAMBAM
Coordinators:
Dharanivaran 4th year MECH & Gokul 4th year CIVIL
Rules
Performance time 5 to 10 min.
Performer should bring their equipments.
Uniform can be used.
Solo performance and pair performance is allowed.
Players are instructed to perform safely.

15. TECHNICAL QUIZ
Coordinators:
Ramya 4th year EEE & Rajesh 4th year MECH
Rules
Max participants 2 to 3.
Based on your basic subjects.
2 rounds are conducted.
1st round - Basic questions.
2st round - Departmental questions.
16. DEBATE
Coordinators:
Abdul Samad & Dinesh Ram - 2nd year CSE
Rules
There are two teams, each consisting of two speakers.
Each team has two constructive speeches, and two rebuttal speeches.
Preparation time is given for 2 min.
Maximum performance is 8 to 10 min.
The affirmative gives the first constructive speech, and the rebuttals
alternate: negative, affirmative, negative, affirmative. The affirmative
has both the first and last speeches of the debate.
The affirmative has the right to make any reasonable definition of
each of the terms of the proposition.
If the negative challenges the reasonableness of a definition by the
affirmative, the judge must accept the definition of the team that
shows better grounds for its interpretation of the term.

He who asserts must prove. In order to establish an assertion, the team
must support it with enough evidence and logic to convince an
intelligent but previously uninformed person that it is more
reasonable to believe the assertion than to disbelieve it.
In the questioning period, the questioner may ask any fair, clear
question that has a direct bearing on the debate. The questioner may
use the period to build up any part of his own case, to tear down any
part of his opposition's case, or to ascertain facts, such as the
opposition's position on a certain issue, that can be used later in the
debate. The questioner must confine himself to questions and not
make statements, comments, or ask rhetorical questions.
Each speaker is questioned as soon as he concludes his constructive
speech. The witness must answer the questions without consulting his
colleagues.
No new constructive arguments may be introduced in the rebuttal
period. The affirmative must, if possible, reply to the major negative
arguments before the last rebuttal.
The judge must base his decision entirely on the material presented,
without regard for other material which he may happen to possess.
Any gains made outside of the established procedure are disallowed.

17. POSTER PRESENTATION
Coordinators:
Harish & Yashwin Raj - 2nd year CSE
Rules
Use any font types and sizes. Order of importance determines which
size to use for text. For instance, the headline should be the largest,
while the benefits should be a smaller size.
Try different colors, fonts, and sizes to see what is most appealing.

18. FREE FIRE
Coordinators:
Shaileshwaran & Sathish Kumar - 2nd year CSE
Rules
Team Size: Teams consist of four players each.
Format: Matches are usually played in a best-of format, with teams
competing against each other until a winner is determined.
Map and Mode: The tournament map will be Bermuda played in the
matches.
Equipment: Players can use any kind of weapons.
Fair Play: Cheating, hacking, or exploiting glitches is typically
prohibited, and fair play is expected from all participants.
Registration: Teams usually need to register in advance to participate
in the tournament, and on spot registration are allowed.
19. BGMI
Coordinators:
Sanjai 4th year CSE & Saran - 4th year CSE
Rules
Two maps will be played (Erangle and Miramar)
Top 8 squad will be selected from both the map.
Winners will be awarded with cash price.
Selected 8 teams will be clashed with TDM matches.
TDM ( No pistol, Slide off and grenade can be used).
If players have been found with any cheating techniques that
particular will be disqualified.
Each team should pay Rs. 250 as a entry fee.
