    Solo Singing Competition – Rules and Regulations

    Participation:

    ● The competition is open to solo performers only.


    ● Each participant must register individually.

    Registration:

    ● Registration Fee: Rs 100 per participant.


    ● The registration must be completed by 14 October, 2024
    ● Payments must be made at the time of registration.

    Prizes:

    ● 1st Place: Rs 3,000


    ● 2nd Place: Rs 1,500

    Performance Guidelines:

    ● Participants will be given a maximum of 7 minutes to perform, including setup.


    ● Performers may choose to sing either an original song or a cover song.
    ● Backing tracks are allowed but must not contain any pre-recorded vocals (only instrumental
    backing is permitted).
    ● A cappella performances are allowed.

    General Rules:

    1. Participants must bring their own musical instruments if they wish to play while singing. A
    keyboard or guitar can be provided upon prior request.
    2. Not more than one (1) accompanist is allowed.
    3. Song lyrics should be appropriate for all audiences. Use of offensive, inappropriate, or vulgar
    language will lead to disqualification.
    4. The decision of the judges will be final and binding.
    5. Participants must adhere to the allotted time. Exceeding the time limit will lead to penalties or
    disqualification.
    6. Any special requirements regarding sound or equipment must be communicated at the time of
    registration.
    7. Each participant must submit their song details (including the backing track if applicable) during
    registration.
    8. No participant is allowed to perform more than once in the competition.
