LINE 1: PETALS X 6
With Friends Cotton 8/4 yarn, color 050
R 1: 7 sc in the front loops of row 8 of the heart of the flower (loops outside your work) + ch 1 to
turn
R 2: 1 inc, 5 sc, 1 inc (9 sts) + ch 1 to turn
R 3: 1 inc, 7 sc, 1 inc (11 sts) + ch 1 to turn
R 4: 11 sc (11 sts) + ch 1 to turn
R 5: 1 dec, 7 sc, 1 dec (9 sts) + ch 1 to turn
R 6: 1 dec, 5 sc, 1 dec (7 sts) + ch 1 to turn
R 7: 1 sc, 2 hdc, 1 dc, 1 hdc, 2 sc
NOTE: At the end of the last petal, do not cut the thread, and insert in the first front loop of row
10 of the heart of the flower.
LINE 2: PETALS X 2

R 1: 14 sc in the front loops of row 10 of the heart of the flower (14 sts) + ch 1 to turn
R 2: *1 sc, 1 inc* 7 times (21 sts) + ch 1 to turn
R 3-4: 2 rows with 21 sc (21 sts) + ch 1 to turn
R 5: *1 sc, 1 dec* 7 times (14 sts) + ch 1 to turn
R 6: 5 sc, 2 dec, 5 sc (12 sts) + ch 1 to turn
R 7: 1 sc, 1 hdc, 1 inc dc, 1 hdc, 1 sc, 1 dec, 1 sc, 1 hdc, 1 inc dc, 1 hdc, 1 sl st (13 sts)
At the end of row 7, continue to sc on the side of the petal until the first row of the petal, in
order to continue the second petal. Insert in the next front loop of row 10 of the heart of the
flower to make your following petal.
NOTE: At the end of the last petal, continue on the side of the petal with sc, then make 1 sl st,
cut and weave in ends.

With Friends Cotton 8/4 yarn, color 44
R 1: 7 sc in the front loops of row 12 of the heart of the flower (7 sts) + ch 1 to turn
R 2: 1 inc, 5 sc, 1 inc (9 sts) + ch 1 to turn
R 3: 9 sc (9 sts) + ch 1 to turn
R 4: 1 dec, 5 sc, 1 dec (7 sts) + ch 1 to turn
R 5: 1 sc, 1 hdc, 1 inc dc, 1 hdc, 1 sl st, 2 hdc
At the end of row 5, continue to sc on the side of the petal until the first row of the petal, in
order to continue the two following petals. Insert in the next front loop of row 12 of the heart of

At the end of row 3, continue to sc on the side of the petal until the first row of the petal, in
order to continue the two following petals. Insert in the next front loop of row 14 of the heart of
the flower to make your following petal.
R 1: 2 sc in the front loops of row 14 of the heart of the flower (3 sts) + ch 1 to turn
R 2: 2 inc (4 sts) + ch 1 to turn
R 3: 1 dec, 1 dc, 1 sc
At the end of row 3, continue to sc on the side of the petal until the first row of the petal.
1 sl st, cut and weave in ends.
FINISHING
For the stem: Cut approx 11.5” to 13.5” (30 to 35 cm) from a wire cable.
Take your glue stick and put it along the length of the cable.
Wrap the entire cable with Friends Cotton 8/4 yarn Color 116.
Using the glue gun, glue one end of the stem behind the heart of the flower.
Let it dry, and repeat for other flowers to get a beautiful eternal bouquet.
