Medium Weight Yarn (10 ply)
Hot glue
Acrylic pant (optional)

Small Round Tip Succulent:


Ch 55
hdc into 3rd ch from hook. Hdc 1 more in same ch. Ch 2, hdc 2all in same ch. Sl st 2.
*(Hdc 2, ch 2, Hdc 2) all in next ch. Sl st 2. *work 8 times. *(Sc, Dc 2. Ch 2. Dc 2, sc) all
in next ch. Sl st 2.* work 8 times. *(Sc, Dc 2. Ch 2. Dc 2, sc) all in next ch. Sl st in last
st.
Tie off.



Sharp Tip Succulent:
Ch 51
Sl st in 2nd ch from hook. Sc in next st. Hdc in next st. Sk 2 chs and sl st into next ch. Sl
st. *ch 4. Sl st into 2nd ch from hook, sc in next st, hdc in last st. Sl st into next ch on
foundation.* work 17 times. * ch 5. Sl st into 2nd ch from hook. Sc, dc in last 2 ch. Sl
st into next ch on the foundation. Sl st. * work 23 times.
Tie off.




Construction:
Using dabs of hot glue, glue your piece in a spiral, in the natural way it twists; try to
offset the spike tips with each round.

If desired, dab the tips of your succulents with water-diluted acrylic paint.

Set in a pebble-filled dish or flower pot.
