In the past couple of years, life has been tough for

everyone because of COVID, the virus that seemingly


came out of nowhere and has plagued the world since
2019. Most people have been overcome with boredom
because they weren’t allowed to go out. But now, with
COVID restrictions easing day by day, we, the people
stuck indoors for so long, can finally go out freely and
quench our thirst for fun and excitement. With that said,
many people are on the lookout for good tourist spots to
visit and Liloy is one of their target destinations. And
that’s why; the tourism department of Liloy does a great
job at promoting their local attractions fundamentally
improving economic growth and ultimately supporting
the livelihood of the community.
First of all, Liloy is home to many beaches that are the
most beautiful in the region. These act as hotspots for
plenty of tourists that want to beat the sweltering heat.
The Liloy tourism page does a very good job at assisting
people who are 1st-time visitors of Liloy to look for their
most favourable destination to visit. In the page, you can

particular beach. To name a few, beaches like Love’s
Beach, Azul Mar, and although not technically a beach;
Rock Dive Inn are some of the most visited places here in
Liloy. For those people who like to spend their free time
laid back and relaxed, beaches like Love’s beach and Azul
Mar is a ‘must-visit for their amazing scenery and the
calming feeling felt when going to these places. Then, for
those thrill seekers and adrenaline junkies, jumping off
the cliffs of Rock Dive Inn and the large boulder in Bitoon
Beach will surely satisfy their need for excitement.
Subsequently, most people like to grill and cook their
food on the beach. The most commonly grilled food on
the beach is fish. Fish that are regularly bought from
local vendors not only helps with local economic growth,
it also supports the livelihood of fishing and helps plenty
of people in the community. Fish is not the only thing
commonly bought by tourists though, peanuts are also a
staple food in Liloy. Sugar-coated or just plainly salted,
peanuts and other staple foods sold in famous tourist
spots also help multiple livelihoods in Liloy.
In short, tourism has been booming especially after
COVID restrictions have eased. Tourists from afar visit
Liloy to see what it has to offer. Seeing this, it’s safe to
say that the tourism department of Liloy does a great job
at promoting their local attractions and effectively
helping the community in the process.
